Iejin Sake Bar! 150-minute all-you-can-drink private course for 4400 yen! What is the space like on the second floor for a private reservation? Self-service drink system? Hmm! I don't know! So I decided to visit! When I arrived, I was told to go up through the door on the left, and as I ascended, I found myself in a cozy house-like space. There was even a TV, which was amusing! This was a relaxing and comfortable setting, perfect for me personally. However, on this day, they were out of draft Orion beer, which was disappointing. But they had bottled beer as a substitute, which was good. Cheers with Orion beer! It was fantastic! This is Okinawa, after all, should we sing some BEGIN songs? Anyway! The course meal was a parade of Okinawan dishes, which was great. I personally enjoyed the Mozuku Kimchi, Purple Sweet Potato Croquette, and Rafute Roast Beef. It was a treat to try the elusive Iejima beef! Everything was delicious! Also, the Seifuku Yuzu Shikwasa liqueur from Seifuku Shuzo was tasty! It would be great if other restaurants also offered this, as it is easy to drink and delicious for both men and women! The 3 hours passed by in a flash, and it was a fun time. Thank you for the meal! Iejin Sake Bar! No doubt about it!!! Here are my taste impressions:
- Mozuku Kimchi: Recently popular Mozuku Kimchi. I tried it for the first time, and it was amazingly delicious! Perfect as a side dish, and goes well with alcohol.
- Mimigaa Ponzu: The texture of Mimigaa was good! It's completely different from the Mimigaa sold here!
- Sea Grapes: When you think of Okinawa, you think of Sea Grapes! I had it with Shikwasa Ponzu, and the crunchy texture was great!
- Spam and Egg Caesar Salad: This is a salad, but it can also be a side dish. The salty taste of Spam is nice!
- Purple Sweet Potato Croquette: This is my go-to dish for Okinawan cuisine. The sweetness and aroma of purple sweet potatoes are great.
- Rafute: A truly delicious dish! The fatty part is sweet, and the meat is tender and flavorful! The sweet seasoning is perfect!
- Goya Champuru: A classic dish! Alcohol drinkers love it, right? Well, it depends on personal taste, but I like it!
- Iejima Beef Roast Beef: It's almost like rare beef! It's cooked at a low temperature, so the fat melts and becomes sweet. The sauce is a sweet soy-based sauce that perfectly complements the beef!
- Taco Rice: Did you know that Taco Rice originated in Okinawa? It's rice with ground meat and cheese. It's bound to be delicious!
- Sata Andagi: It reminds me of Yanbaru Kuina and Yamada Shintaro. They flew away~. Just kidding. It's a super tasty snack! Even though I'm not from Okinawa, it reminds me of my time there!
