The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from hot pot to sushi at affordable prices. The interior is spacious and easy to enter. Last time there were elderly groups, but today it's all young people, with a high ratio of women. I came in because I wanted to eat tempura. The batter is crispy and delicious, the squid is tender, and the lotus root is crunchy. The baked turban shell had a strong smell, which was disappointing.

I entered the restaurant before 6 o'clock on a weekday. There were no other customers. I ordered a platter of tuna cheek sashimi, mixed sashimi, and mixed tempura including oysters and vegetables. The portions were generous, especially the sashimi and tempura platters. The prices for alcohol were also reasonable, which was a plus. The taste was average, but considering the affordability and the variety of fish available, I would like to visit again.

I felt like eating fish, so I came to "Kaizenshiyatai Okuman". The interior of the restaurant has a lot of character. The food is really cheap! And delicious too. The sashimi is so fresh that it makes you wonder about the freshness. I tried sashimi of horse mackerel for the first time in my life, and it was fresh and delicious. In the past, I struggled with a huge tempura in my stomach, but this time I ordered it from the beginning. You can eat a tempura of conger eel for less than 300 yen, which is quite rare, right? And there is no lack of customer service often seen in low-priced restaurants; they even saw me off all the way to the outside when I left. Good cost performance and customer service! When you feel like drinking a lot of seafood, this is the place to go! Everything is delicious, but the rolled omelette with dashi is really tasty and a must-order dish. I highly recommend it.

This is an izakaya located near Tanimachi Rokuchome Station along Tanimachi-suji Street. When I looked it up, I found out that it is a restaurant chain mainly based in Osaka. The name "Okuman" comes from the idea of wanting "billions of people" to come and enjoy themselves, and to make many people happy. The concept is "masses", so the interior of the restaurant has chairs made from beer crates with cushions attached, concrete floors, and walls covered in sudare, giving it a beach house-like atmosphere rather than a street stall. The goal is to create a lively and communal space, so there are no partitions between the seating areas. The menu offers a variety of dishes at very affordable prices, with most items priced under 500 yen. I started with a draft beer (378 yen) as usual. The sashimi platter with five types of fish (734 yen) seemed to be a specialty of the restaurant. The fish was fresh and delicious, sourced directly from Kochi Prefecture and Tottori Prefecture. We also ordered cold tofu (162 yen), dashimaki tamago (302 yen), and tempura items such as shrimp, conger eel, and squid (each 205 yen). The tempura was large and hot, offering great value for the price. We also tried seared tuna cheek meat with ponzu sauce (410 yen) and chanja (410 yen), a spicy marinated dish made from salted cod stomach. Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was lively. The octopus with wasabi (302 yen) was a unique dish with a generous amount of grated radish, adding a nice touch to the spicy flavor. It was a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

I visited the restaurant in the early evening and it was about 80% full. The staff seemed busy and may have been short-handed, as some orders were not delivered promptly. The fact that a draft beer (Asahi Super Dry) was only 350 yen was a pleasant surprise, and the free oolong tea was also nice. Here is what I ate:
- Seafood Okuman 5 kinds (680 yen): A sashimi assortment of tuna, amberjack, salmon, octopus, and saury (whole fish!). The saury sashimi was amazing, and all the sashimi was fresh and delicious. A must-try.
- Shrimp Tempura (2 pieces for 180 yen): Perfectly fried, not too raw, and delicious.
- Lotus Root Tempura (2 pieces for 100 yen): Crispy and tasty. Personally, I love lotus root.
- Drooling Chicken (380 yen): A dish that comes out quickly, with boiled chicken topped with onions and green onions, seasoned with ponzu sauce and a spicy kick from shichimi pepper.
- Seafood Yakisoba (380 yen): Is it really only 380 yen? This yakisoba with shrimp and squid, seasoned with black pepper for a spicy saltiness, was just the right size. The chairs and tables may not be the most comfortable, but the cost performance is excellent. All the dishes are affordable, and the sashimi is a great deal. The perfectly fried tempura is a must-try. Since it's a chain restaurant, I would like to try another branch. Thank you for the meal.

This is my third time visiting this place, and it's always my second stop. It's really cheap, so it's perfect for a second round of drinks when you're not satisfied yet. The interior is like a food stall with plenty of seats, quite spacious. The staff are energetic too. On this day, I had the following:
- Jellyfish Ponds
- Potato fries
- Sweet shrimp tempura
- Grilled ray fin
- Octopus tempura
- Assorted tempura
- Edamame
The food was average, but hey, it's cheap! The Jellyfish Ponds had chopped jellyfish that was chewy. The assorted tempura had big pieces of tempura batter, surprisingly delicious! Even after having three drinks, it only cost about 1500 yen per person. Still cheap! Thank you for the meal!

I was invited by a senior colleague to stroll around the area near Tanimachi, and we came across a seafood stall. Lately, there are many stalls or beach house-style shops popping up, which are affordable and easy to enter. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to get in. First, I ordered a draft beer, Kirin Ichiban Shibori. The dishes we had that day were: - Tuna tail with garlic sauce - well simmered and delicious! - Assorted sashimi - thickly sliced and satisfying! - Pickled cucumber - classic deliciousness - Freshly caught houbou fish simmered - it was served whole on the plate, which got me excited... haha. While enjoying the tasty dishes, I switched from beer to shochu high and had about 5 drinks. It cost around 2400 yen per person, so it was a cheap place to drink. Thank you for the meal!

I often choose to eat out at meat restaurants and rarely have fish dishes on our dining table at home! So I visited this restaurant where I have been a few times before. It's always bustling with noise! I love the lively atmosphere! The prices are very affordable. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price, and it's great for having with drinks. The simmered kawahagi was well-seasoned and delicious with a nice glaze. Since it's the season, I also had the salt-grilled saury, which was also very tasty. The restaurant is a bit far to walk to from home, but very close by car! Next time, I plan to walk there to get some exercise before enjoying some drinks. Thank you for the meal.

There was a lot going on yesterday, and for dinner, I went to a seafood stall called "Okuman" which stays open late, making it a convenient spot. When I arrived, it was quite empty, but I heard that during dinner time, it gets really crowded. I started with a draft Kirin beer for 368 yen and ordered a variety of tempura items: chikuwa for 105 yen, yam tempura for 105 yen, shrimp tempura for 200 yen, and the must-try pickled ginger tempura for 105 yen. I also tried the recommended amberjack sashimi for 399 yen. The tempura had a crispy coating with plenty of grated daikon and dipping sauce, and I couldn't help but wonder if I actually ordered the daikon since it was so delicious. If hypothetically, there was white rice for 150 yen available at this place, these tempura items would make a luxurious tempura rice bowl for 650 yen. The shrimp tempura was particularly impressive with a large, crispy coating and a big shrimp inside for only 200 yen. The pickled ginger tempura and chikuwa were also delicious. I found the sashimi to be good but nothing extraordinary. For the finishing touch, I ordered seafood salt yakisoba for 399 yen, which was slightly small but satisfying with a good amount of seafood and a noticeable use of oil in the seasoning. Lastly, I ordered a rice ball for 158 yen, which was large and expertly wrapped in seaweed. The seaweed wrapping was so skillful that it made me question whether I should become a rice ball or buy this seaweed for my bed instead of a blanket. Overall, it was a clean hit of a restaurant - cheap, quick, delicious.
