Since there is no parking lot, we parked at a nearby coin parking. We sat at a table and placed our order at the entrance counter. This time, we ordered the "Donabe rice and salted koji-marinated tender pork belly set (1,490 yen)". Before the donabe rice is served, you get 8 small side dishes, all with a delicious home-cooked flavor. The wait wasn't bothersome at all, and in about 20 minutes, the donabe rice and the main dish of pork belly were served. The donabe rice was amazing, with a fragrant aroma and a taste that was completely different from regular rice. The pork belly was not overly fatty, but rather firm and satisfying. I left a little rice to enjoy the crispy rice crust with the dashi broth, which was also delicious. My wife and I were both very satisfied, and it turned out to be a fantastic lunch.

Personally, I wanted to try the parfait made with a whole peach (limited edition), but I resisted. When I paid the bill, I saw people lining up outside the restaurant. I understood their desire to wait in line for this delicious meal. I visited in July 2023.

The rice is excellent, with a nice texture and slight sweetness that complements the other dishes well. The use of dashi in all dishes, including the miso soup and Zangi, is outstanding. The Zangi may be slightly salty, but it pairs perfectly with the rice. It was delicious! If I didn't have work, I would have loved to enjoy it with a beer. The small side dishes were also tasty. I was a bit indecisive, but I ordered the Salted Koji-marinated Tender Pork Belly Set Meal and an Iced Coffee. When ordering a drink with lunch, it cost an additional 200 yen. First, the Iced Coffee was brought to me, followed by a variety of small dishes. It seemed like the system was to enjoy the small dishes while waiting for the clay pot rice to cook. The small dishes included pickled paprika, carrot salad, shirasu and cabbage salad, and Japanese-style potato salad, all of which were meticulously prepared and delicious. The clay pot rice was then brought out, but I was asked to wait a bit while it finished steaming. In the meantime, miso soup and the main dish of pork belly were served. I was quite satisfied with the small dishes, so I had almost forgotten about the pork belly, but it was truly outstanding. The pork belly, marinated in salted koji, was incredibly tender and delicious. It paired perfectly with the freshly cooked clay pot rice, which was soft and fluffy. The Ranshu rice was indeed delicious. With the abundance of small dishes and the delicious clay pot rice, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant, located a 2-minute walk from the Kotoni Station, at 11:12 am. The menu displayed outside seemed to have seasonal items, such as the spring pot-cooked rice dishes like "New Onion and Bacon Pot-cooked Rice Set" and "Miyabi's Boiled Rice with Dried Baby Sardines Set." Inside, the restaurant was mostly filled with female customers, with a few couples as well. The menu included a variety of rice dishes and other items like pork cutlet and cabbage with tartar sauce. I ordered the "Miyabi's Boiled Rice with Dried Baby Sardines Set" priced at 1,480 yen. The meal was served after a 45-minute wait, as the rice was cooked in a pot after ordering. The dish was served with side dishes and miso soup. The combination of kelp dashi and dried baby sardines in the rice was delicious, and the portion was generous. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

The glossy Ranshiri rice, freshly cooked after we placed our order, was delicious. I had the Cod and Vegetable in Black Vinegar Sauce set meal, which came with flavorful rice and a not-too-strong black vinegar sauce. My wife had the Hamburger Steak set meal with a Hokkaido onion sauce, which was also delicious. For the finishing touch, we requested the staff to pour dashi broth into the rice pot, creating a warm soup-like dish. Overall, it took us 1 hour and 30 minutes from seating to leaving the restaurant, so I recommend going with plenty of time to spare.

Despite this, I visited a restaurant that caught my eye before, which focuses on rice dishes. They cook rice in a pot and serve it in the pot for each order. This time, I ordered the braised pork, and my wife ordered the set meal with deep-fried horse mackerel topped with tartar sauce. First, a small dish was served as an appetizer, which was just right for snacking. We toasted with beer in the middle of the day. Next, the main dishes and rice were brought to us. The rice was shiny and soft, but you could still feel the firmness and umami flavor. The main dishes also went well with the rice. Inside, there was only one group of customers waiting, and I was seated at the counter in about 10 minutes. I ordered the Hamburg steak set meal with extra large portion of clay pot white rice. The rice portion was mentioned to be on the smaller side. Within 5 minutes, a platter of 6 small side dishes was served. There were dishes like potato salad and marinated vegetables, all of which complemented the rice well with just the right amount of seasoning. I finished the side dishes just before the main dish arrived. About 10 minutes later, the clay pot dish was served. I waited to open the lid until the main dish was also served. I scooped the clay pot rice into a bowl and took a bite. The rice was incredibly delicious, almost making me not need the main dish. When I cut into the Hamburg steak, the juices flowed out. The combination of the sauce and rice was superb. The side dishes of kelp and minced chicken were also tasty. Despite the large portion, I was able to eat it easily and enjoyably. The crispy rice stuck to the clay pot was turned into ochazuke by adding broth, which was also delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wanted more of both dishes to enjoy with some shochu. The highlight for me was the small shrimp mixed rice, which had a strong umami flavor from the shrimp and dashi, although it was a bit salty.
