Hello! For lunch, I had ramen around Shijo-Karasuma at Seabura no Kami Nishiki. I arrived just before 1 pm. Looking at the menu, they have two main options: backfat shoyu ramen and house style ramen, with a rice set available. Oh, they no longer have beef tendon tsukemen, it seems. I entered the restaurant and bought a ticket from the vending machine. Oh, there's a March limited edition Hanamori Chashu Ramen for 1000 yen! I'll go for that, along with the fried chicken and rice set for 200 yen. After a short wait, I sat at the counter and handed over my ticket. On the table, there were minced garlic, black pepper, and shichimi. After a while, the Hanamori Chashu Ramen, fried chicken, and rice set for 1200 yen arrived. The chashu was shaped like a flower, with plenty of chashu, minced purple onion, and menma. The shoyu soup with backfat and ginger had a strong flavor. The noodles were medium thickness and had a nice firmness. The chashu had a good amount of fat and was chewy. The purple onion added a crunchy texture and bitterness that complemented the soup. I enjoyed the ramen, rice, and fried chicken. It truly lived up to the name of Seabura no Kami. I look forward to trying their other house style ramen next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Today's lunch was my third visit to "Seaburano Kami Nishiki" in Shijo Karasuma. I came today to try the limited edition tsukemen. I ordered the "Shio Ramen with Clam Dashi Cold Tsukemen" with extra noodles and the recommended 250 yen set at the ticket machine. I'll have the C set, please. Here comes my order. First, I'll try the noodles on their own. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a good firmness. Next, I'll add the shiso leaf and green onions to the dipping sauce and try it that way. The saltiness is complemented by a subtle clam broth aroma. The toppings include chashu, seasoned egg, shiso leaf, green onions, lemon slices, and sansho paste. The dipping sauce also has chopped green onions and onions in it. The chashu is tender chicken breast. The onions are Early Red variety. I'll enjoy the fried chicken with mayonnaise. Towards the end, I'll add lemon and sansho paste to the dipping sauce for a change in flavor. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on Sunday, August 20, 2023, a little after 11 AM. There were a few customers already, so it seemed crowded. I ordered the regular mixed noodles. It's been a while since I last had their mixed noodles. I ordered using the ticket machine and sat at the designated counter seat to hand over my ticket. It took about 10 minutes for the dish to arrive. The mixed noodles here are known for having a lot of pork fat on top. The noodles were delicious. This seems to be the recent trend or the basic standard. I added black seven spice halfway through for a change in flavor, and finished by adding rice.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday, August 5, 2023, a little after 11 am. There were a few customers already there, about 4 people. I bought a meal ticket from the ticket machine and chose the house ramen. It's been a while since I had it. When I handed over the ticket, I requested everything to be regular. It only took a few minutes for the ramen to be served. Surprisingly fast! I took 2 photos and tried a sip of the soup. The richness of the chicken oil was excellent. The richness of the soup was also outstanding, truly delicious! It was like confirming the rich deliciousness once again.

Today's dinner is my second visit to "Seaburano Kamikin" in Shijo-Karasuma. I came here because they are offering a limited edition dipping noodles for July. I purchased the "Hiroshima-style cold dipping noodles" from the ticket machine. Here comes the dish. I put the cabbage and white leeks on the noodles into the dipping sauce before eating. It's quite spicy but also very flavorful. The noodles are smooth and chewy, with a medium thickness. The dipping sauce also contains sesame seeds. There is also chashu on the noodles. It's thick and tender. Thank you for the meal.

The store was beautiful and surprisingly spacious. I had the pork belly soy sauce ramen for 900 yen. I love the chewy texture of the noodles. If I had more room in my stomach, I would have tried the ultimate seafood rice bowl. I want to go back next time when I'm really hungry.

For lunch today, I went to Seaburano Kanno, a restaurant affiliated with Seaburano Kami. Here, you can enjoy a style of ramen called "kaikesi ramen." Recently, there have been more places in Kyoto where you can eat kaikesi ramen, which makes me very happy as a fan of this style. The noodles here seem to be from Taima, which raised my expectations even more. When the ramen was served, I was like a dog waiting for food. The soup was richer than other kaikesi ramen places, and the noodles from Taima created a new and delicious combination. The chashu was thickly sliced yet moist and very tasty. The rice served here was also incredibly delicious, with shiny silver grains that added to my satisfaction. Some ramen places serve mediocre rice, but the rice here was perfect. However, I've noticed that whenever I have Taima noodles at different places, they always cook them on the softer side. It might just be a personal preference issue. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would rate it 3.56 out of 5. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Seabura for their limited edition dish, the "Kakei Abura Soba" priced at 950 yen. Each Seabura location has a different regular menu, and at the Nishiki store they serve the Kakei ramen. This time, I tried the limited edition Kakei Abura Soba, which was delicious. The condiments on the table, like the Baranori, paired perfectly with the dish.

It's nice to have a house-style ramen place nearby. The taste was good overall, but it was a bit too salty and lacking in balance. The noodles raised some doubts as well. They had a strange texture, somewhat dry and not very firm... also, they were short. Although I have had house-style ramen with this kind of texture before, the experience of slurping and swallowing was not as satisfying as I had hoped. Rice is very important for house-style ramen, but the rice here didn't have any particular aroma or sweetness, which was disappointing. Lastly, a common issue at all Seabura shops: if you dip the rare chashu into the hot soup, it loses its rare quality and becomes grey and wilted. While it's a fun place to visit, I wouldn't particularly recommend it. I have to emphasize again that the noodles at the main shop are truly excellent! Compared to that, both the Fushimi and this shop have room for improvement...

Visited around 11:30 and ordered the Ajitama Shoyu Ramen for ¥1,020. There were available seats in the restaurant. Compared to the ramen I had at the main branch before, this one had less back fat. The quality of the back fat seemed more important than the quantity. Overall, I was satisfied with the well-balanced flavor and portion. They also offered a house special ramen. I would like to try it next time.

On May 3, 2023, I visited Seaburano Kami in Kyoto. The ramen was delicious and made me smile. I was worried about getting fat from the soup, but it was so tasty that I ended up drinking a lot of it. Overall, it was a great meal. Thank you! #KyotoGourmet #KyotoLunch #KyotoRamen #KyotoFood #KyotoRamenTour

Kyoto Stay Meal Series This time... Lunch on April 23rd ✨ Today was ramen day... I've been to Seabura no Kami Nishiki Main Store before, but this was my first time at this restaurant ✨ It was a nice time in the early afternoon, but there were already many customers... We were guided to the counter seats in a room with wind protection-like features, and I ordered the ramen with flavored egg and extra fat ♪ Soon, a bowl of ramen with flavored egg, chopped green onions, bean sprouts, and a large chashu (pork slices) that are not visible but generously topped with fat arrived. Although I added extra fat, it looked rich, but it had a rich soy sauce flavor and was unexpectedly delicious (゚д゚)ウマー It goes well with the thin noodles (*'ω'*) I think it has an elegant Kyoto-like taste ✿ On the table, there were black shichimi pepper, ichimi pepper, chopped garlic, and seaweed. You can change the flavor with these... I'm very satisfied ( ゚v^ ) Thank you for the meal!

On April 22, 2023, around 11 o'clock on a Saturday, I visited the restaurant. It seemed like they had just opened for business. I thought there would be a long line, but there were only 2 customers ahead of me. Seabura no is still a hidden gem. I ordered the shoyu ramen at the ticket machine. The broth was rich and delicious, and the thin noodles were perfect. The chashu was also excellent. I added some nori from the condiments on the table to change the flavor and finished every last bite. The classic menu items here are definitely worth trying.

Yesterday's lunch was udon at Menbosan, and today's lunch as a noodle lover was ramen at Seabura no Kami Nishiki store. We had to wait for about two people but were seated quickly. We ordered the flavored egg, pork fat, and ginger salt ramen, along with the recommended 250 yen set of one piece of fried chicken and rice. After a few minutes of waiting, the aroma of the ginger in the soup was irresistible. The rich soup combined with the rice was excellent! What was even more fantastic was that even though it was past 2 p.m., the rice was freshly made and delicious. Many restaurants tend to serve less tasty rice during this time, but Seabura no Kami Nishiki store did not disappoint. Another highlight was the black roasted seaweed on the table. Adding this to the ramen made it even more delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

I wanted to eat ramen from a famous family-owned restaurant and visited. I arrived a little after 12 pm on Saturday and was seated without waiting. I ordered the rich pork bone ramen. Overall, it was delicious, but the noodles were unusually short (maybe for people who can't slurp them?). It didn't feel like I was eating ramen. Also, when I asked for vinegar, the first staff member said "yes," but when another staff member came back, they said, "We don't serve vinegar." It was disappointing because I had been looking forward to adding vinegar to my ramen, which is a standard for this type of ramen.

I searched on Google for a new ramen shop and found one with a sign for Musashino-style ramen, which caught my attention. I purchased a ramen ticket for 850 yen, rice for 150 yen, and extra seaweed for 100 yen. I ordered the ramen with firm noodles, normal flavor, and less fat. The noodles seemed to be similar to those from Sakai Seimen, and the soup had a slightly thick and rich taste, which was quite different from the taste of Musashino-style ramen. Perhaps I should have tried the famous Seabura shoyu ramen instead, as it is known as the god of ramen shops. Overall, I enjoyed the meal very much.

A few minutes walk from Karasuma Station. Today, I had lunch here. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and first you buy a meal ticket at the ticket machine near the entrance. I ordered the pork back fat soy sauce ramen with a seasoned egg on top. Now, let's dig in! First, let's talk about the soup - it has a strong ginger-infused soy sauce flavor, which I personally quite like. The raw onions on top have a bit of a strong spiciness, so the balance might not be perfect. There's nori on the table that you can add for extra flavor, so feel free to use it. Anyway, bon appétit! The restaurant's name suggests that the pork back fat soy sauce ramen is the most popular, but I noticed quite a few people ordering the house ramen, so I might try that next time.

Popular ramen shop in Kyoto, "Seaburano Kami," has a branch near Shijo-Karasuma. Ordered the house-style ramen with a unique menu not available at the main store. Also tried the famous Seabura rice. The house-style ramen had a rich and flavorful soup, very satisfying. The Seabura rice was devilishly delicious! However, the combination with the house-style ramen was a bit too heavy (laughs). #ramen #SeaburanoKami #housestyleramen #Seaburarice #pork broth soy sauce ramen #Kyoto ramen #Kyoto city gourmet #Shijo-Karasuma gourmet #Kyoto Kawaramachi gourmet
