Today, I went out for a lunch stroll and suddenly felt like rain was approaching in the air. I checked the Yahoo Weather forecast while walking and saw that heavy rain was expected in 40 minutes. I quickly changed my destination to a nearby place where I could finish quickly. I chose this place because yakiniku (grilled meat) is served quickly as it is just raw meat placed on a plate. Plus, this restaurant offers yakiniku for less than 1,000 yen for lunch. I was seated at a large table for 6 and ordered the "Wagyu thin-sliced loin lunch" for 980 yen. There was also a cheaper beef loin bowl for 880 yen, but I stuck to my original plan as I thought yakiniku would be faster. The food was served promptly with the fire lit, and I started eating right away. The meat had a lot of lean meat, which I thought was good. I can't eat meat with a lot of marbling anymore (laughs). The slices were thin but of normal thickness. There were 11 pieces of meat the size of the photo. The meal also came with salad, pickles, and cold tofu. Since rice was free up to one bowl, I had another serving. I finished the meal in 15 minutes! I ate quickly and my stomach was full! I'm happy with this price for a lunch yakiniku.

After a long time, we finally had a yakiniku all-you-can-eat gathering after the end of the state of emergency. We ordered the all-you-can-eat option at 2980 yen. First, we had salted tongue, pork, and chicken, followed by wagyu kalbi and loin. The meat was as delicious as the one we had for lunch. In addition, we could also enjoy hormone, grilled vegetables, rice, soup, and salad. The service was quick from ordering to serving. We kept repeating the cycle of grilling, ordering, and eating. Oh, I'm so full. Thank you for the meal.

Wagyu beef loin lunch for 1210 yen. It looks just like the photo. I hesitated to post this, but it's also for my own reference. I was disappointed the first time, but I always go at least twice in case it was just a fluke. I won't be going back again.

GOTO Eat's site reservations seem to be ending soon, but I found a restaurant that is okay for solo diners and made a last-minute reservation there. It's a yakiniku restaurant located behind the Akasaka Ward Office, and they also serve lunch. I decided to visit in the evening. I made a reservation through Tabelog for the solo yakiniku set with a drink for 2000 yen. I arrived a little after 6 PM and found tables set up for groups of 6. I sat alone at a large table and decided to upgrade to the premium solo yakiniku set for 2500 yen on the day. I chose the premium option with top sirloin and salted chicken liver. I started with the liver, followed by top tongue, top kalbi, top sirloin, and top hormone, each served on a separate plate with a slice of lemon. The restaurant's effort to cater to current needs was evident, and they even used a smokeless roaster to prevent any lingering smell on clothes. I was impressed by their dedication to customer satisfaction.

After finishing work, I decided to take a stroll and came across some intriguing words on a sign: "Limited time offer from August 3-5! Half-price meal voucher giveaway!" I decided to check it out and discovered that I would receive a meal voucher worth half of what I paid. Although I initially misunderstood and thought my next meal would be half-price, it was still a good deal. I ordered the Premium One-Person Yakiniku Set with a drink included for 2,100 yen after a 400 yen discount with a coupon from Tabelog. The set included premium cuts like wagyu tongue, kalbi, loin, and hormone, along with salad and a choice of drink. The sauces provided were tangy, soy-based, and spicy gochujang. The meat was tender and juicy, but I wished there was something more distinctive about each cut. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I made sure to have a refill of beer to accompany it.

Affordable Price - Yakiniku Restaurant Sei-chan {Fukuoka City Chuo-ku} On February 9, 2020 (Sunday), I went to Yakiniku Restaurant Sei-chan. This place is located on the northernmost street in Daimyo. Nearby, there are Udon Wasuke and Buta Soba Tsuki. Even though I was alone, I was seated at such a splendid table. Since they use a smokeless roaster, the smell doesn't stick to your clothes, so you can eat yakiniku without it being noticeable, which is great. Now, what should I eat? The Black Wagyu beef lunch set for 1000 yen (excluding tax) seems like a good deal. Oh? There is also a Black Wagyu beef lunch set for 800 yen on the lower side of the menu. When I asked about the difference, I was told that the 1000 yen one is thickly sliced while the 800 yen one is thinly sliced. Whether it's thick or thin, I prefer the cheaper one. There is also a Beef Sirloin Rice Bowl for 800 yen. Here it is, the Black Wagyu Thinly Sliced Sirloin Lunch Set for 800 yen (excluding tax). Free rice refill. In addition to the meat, it comes with a vegetable salad, wakame soup, cold tofu with kimchi, and two types of yakiniku sauce. The rice portion is generous, so it seems like I won't need a refill. The meat is quite substantial! And all of this for only 880 yen (including tax), what a great deal. Now, let's grill and eat it~! It's true that there is no smoke at all and no smell. However, it seems like it takes a bit longer to cook. Well, let's dig in. There were some slightly tough parts, but overall, it was a satisfying lunch. I had lunch at the newly opened yakiniku restaurant called Sei-chan, located about a 3-minute walk from Akasaka Station! It was my first visit. The place was not crowded like other restaurants nearby, so I decided to give it a try. It's known for serving black wagyu beef. The lunch menu mainly consists of various yakiniku dishes, and many customers were enjoying yakiniku even during lunchtime! Since I didn't have much time, I ordered their recommended dish, the "Gyuu Rosu Don" (medium size). It was a simple bowl with thin slices of beef, egg, green onions, and sesame seeds. It came with kimchi and wakame soup. The taste was quite ordinary with no particular impact. I wish there was more quantity though. Maybe I need to try their premium lunch options priced above 1500 yen to fully appreciate the restaurant's quality. Otherwise, I might end up going to nearby Rikkaen instead. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I was looking for a place where I could have lunch with a daimyo, so I decided to visit this restaurant. They offer black wagyu beef, so I had high expectations. The lunch price seemed a bit high, but I thought it was understandable because it was black wagyu beef. I ordered the Kalbi & Roast lunch. The meat itself was tender and delicious, but maybe my expectations were too high because it was advertised as black wagyu beef. I wished there was a bit more volume of meat. The rice seemed to be refillable, so it could be useful when you want to eat a lot, but since it was lunch this time, I will try visiting at night next time. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I came across a restaurant on Tabelog that caught my attention. It's a yakiniku restaurant that opened in Daimyo in April. They offer black wagyu yakiniku for lunch, and apparently you can get free rice refills. There were only 3 reviews available. I decided to visit on this Saturday. I took the train to Tenjin and walked to the restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant around 10:50, 10 minutes before opening. I confirmed the location of the restaurant and walked around nearby until it opened. I returned to the restaurant around 11:05. I entered the restaurant after confirming that it had opened. There were no customers in the table seating area. The staff didn't notice my arrival right away. Finally, a staff member noticed me as I walked towards the kitchen, and I was seated at a table. It might be a good idea to have a bell at the entrance. I checked the menu. The black wagyu kalbi & loin lunch seemed like a popular choice as you could enjoy both, but there was another menu item that caught my eye. Trusting my gut feeling, I ordered the black wagyu top loin lunch. There was an option to increase the amount of meat by 1.5 times for an additional 400 yen, but I opted to keep it as is. Also, I wasn't asked about the choice of sauce or salt. I generally prefer loin over kalbi. The food was served in less than 5 minutes. It was a beautiful cut of meat. The rice portion was quite generous, which got me excited. I grilled the meat, dipped it in sauce, and took a bite of the black wagyu top loin. It was delicious. The top loin was tender, juicy, and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It truly showcased the quality of the black wagyu. The top loin paired well with the sauce. There were two types of sauce, one of which I assume was slightly spicy, but the taste didn't differ much. I continued grilling and also enjoyed grilled cabbage, pumpkin, and bell pepper. The soup had seaweed, green onions, and a slightly salty flavor, which was tasty. The tofu was also coated in sauce, similar to the yakiniku sauce. The salad consisted mainly of cabbage with sesame dressing. The black wagyu top loin was so delicious that I kept eating more rice. I pressed the buzzer and requested a refill of rice. They brought it to me, but the rice bowl was small... It was a different bowl from the first serving, about half the size. I had imagined a larger bowl, so I was a bit disappointed. I ate eagerly and finished in no time. A great restaurant has opened in Daimyo. It would also be nice to come here for drinks at night. It's still a new establishment, with few customers and some operational hiccups, but I believe it will soon become a popular spot in Daimyo. There is a very famous restaurant called Rikkaen nearby, but I think this place can hold its own. When I visit next time, I would like to try the black wagyu top harami lunch. This time it cost 1500 yen. Considering it's black wagyu and the option for rice refills, I think it's quite reasonable. It was delicious. I will definitely come back.

I tried the Black Wagyu Kalbi & Rib Lunch for 1000 yen at a restaurant that opened in April. The set includes rice, wakame soup, kimchi, and cold tofu along with the main meat. The meat was tender and not too fatty, and it was more delicious than I expected. You can also upgrade to 1.5 times the amount of meat for an additional 400 yen. Men seemed to opt for the 1.5 times portion. The restaurant accepts PayPay as a payment method.

This restaurant offers affordable yakiniku lunch with a wide variety of options. The meat is clean and delicious, and they also have private booth-style seating which is nice. Being able to order 1.5 times the amount of meat is a great feature too.

Due to the impact of the new coronavirus, many shops are temporarily closed. However, in the area south of Chuo Ward office, there are relatively many restaurants open for business. It seems that you have a higher chance of finding a place to have lunch in this area than in other places. I visited "Yakiniku Sei-chan" at 11:50 am, and as expected, they were open. I was seated in a spacious semi-private room for 6 people, as I was dining alone. The table had a built-in grill for yakiniku, which was stylish. I ordered the "Black Wagyu Kalbi & Rib (1,000 yen, extra)" which came with rice, soup, salad, kimchi, and cold tofu. The food arrived quickly, and although it was difficult to distinguish between the rib and kalbi at first glance, the beef had a unique taste. The two types of sauces, soy sauce-based and miso-based, were quite similar in taste. I added garlic from the table to the sauce to remove any unpleasant smell. The clear soup had wakame seaweed in it. The rice was free for refills, which I naturally took advantage of. The total cost was 1,100 yen including tax. Just a few days ago, I had an amazing steak with great value, so my comments on the meat might sound a bit harsh. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

I use it for lunch. Considering the location and portion size, you can have a proper lunch at a surprisingly cheap price. The meat is also delicious. However, one disappointing thing is that there doesn't seem to be much emphasis on the sauce. There are better sauces available even in store-bought ones. If the sauce becomes tastier, I think more customers will come. I always spend my lunchtime thinking about this.
