This time, I visited a restaurant in Namba where you can eat Monjayaki called "Mojio Namba Store". It's a Monjayaki specialty shop where the staff cooks right in front of you. We tried the Mentaiko Mochi Chawan for 858 yen. There are two sizes available, a bowl and a large bowl that serves 4 people. If you want to enjoy a variety of Monjayaki, I recommend the bowl size. The Mentaiko Mochi has plenty of sakura shrimp along with mentaiko and mochi, giving it a delicious flavor. It's the most popular item on the menu, but there are also other interesting options like Squid Ink Monjayaki and Wagyu Beef Tendon Curry Monjayaki. Lots of menu items to choose from!

Located in Namba, Osaka City, Mojio Nanba is a monjayaki restaurant. It was my first time eating monjayaki outside of home. Eating monjayaki with friends and family at home is fun, but trying it at a restaurant is also a great experience. At this restaurant, the staff cooks the monjayaki right in front of you, so even if you've never tried it before, you can feel at ease. This time, I ordered the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and mochi monjayaki! There were various other options available, so even if you're not a fan of mentaiko, there are other choices! I went to the restaurant "Mojo" in Ura Namba, which specializes in monjayaki. The trendy interior was bustling with young customers. Since it was our second stop of the night, we didn't eat too much, but they had a wide variety of a la carte menu items in addition to monjayaki. We ordered a Maruefu Chu-bin (660 yen tax included) and an appetizer (330 yen tax included), which came with a selection of 5 different items in a wooden box. It was nice to be able to choose our own appetizers, so we had things like quail and pickled cucumbers. We also tried the mentaiko mochi (1,518 yen tax included), which was the most popular monjayaki option with lots of shredded cabbage and plenty of mochi. For our second round of monjayaki, we had the Wagyu tendon curry (1,628 yen tax included), which was the third most popular dish. It had a subtle curry flavor and the tender tendon was absolutely delicious.

This is a restaurant that stays open late at night! It is a clean and modern place! They offer a few appetizers and you can choose one, which is nice! The friendly staff will cook the Monjayaki for you! They have a wide variety of Monjayaki and a la carte dishes, making it a good place to go for drinks! They have a decent selection of alcohol! Only electronic cigarettes are allowed!

I visited the restaurant around 7pm on a weekday. I didn't have a reservation but managed to get a table just in time! We ordered the mentaiko mochi monja, which the staff cooked for us. We ordered a portion for two people, but with two side dishes, we were completely full! We also had the hormone teppanyaki and the juicy eringi mushrooms with mayonnaise. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. They also had a great selection of drinks. Overall, it was a great experience!

I tried the recommended Mochi Mentaiko Monjayaki at the restaurant and it was delicious! I also ordered the Mapo Monjayaki, which surprisingly had a sweet taste and went well with alcohol. Additionally, I ordered the Ebi Wasa as a side dish, which was perfect for drinking. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited the restaurant twice in the same month. The mentaiko mochi, ikasumi, and wagyu beef tendon curry were all delicious! The mentaiko mochi was so good that I ordered it both times. If you're unsure of what to order, I highly recommend the mentaiko monjayaki. There are many toppings to choose from, but my favorite is the Baby Star noodles. The ikasumi was not as black as I expected, but it had a subtle ink flavor. It was unique because it had rice in it, making it like an ikasumi risotto when grilled. I recommend adding cheese as a topping. Monjayaki may not be familiar to people from Kansai, but it is delicious with plenty of cabbage. The first one is cooked by the staff, but you can cook the second one yourself. If you want the staff to cook the second one as well, there is an additional fee of 100 yen. The staff are all very friendly and kind. This restaurant offers great value for money and is highly recommended for monjayaki.

This is the second store from Sannomiya, and even though it is run by young staff only, the level of customer service is high! The first dish is cooked style, and the staff cooks it while chatting with you, creating a wonderful atmosphere with their smiles. You can choose your appetizer, so I ordered the potato salad. I also ordered the Italian tomato monjayaki (served in a bowl), 3 pieces of fried chicken, and a bottle of beer. The option to choose your appetizer is great, and the portion size is quite large. The monjayaki served in a bowl is actually a normal size, and it is more than enough for one person. The taste is light and goes well with beer. The fried chicken comes in a portion of 3 pieces, which is also more than enough for one person. The taste is well-seasoned and delicious. This restaurant is not only suitable for couples or groups but also easy for individuals to visit. It seems like it will become a popular spot, and I would like to visit again.

A new monjayaki restaurant has opened in Namba! They specialize in various types of monjayaki cooked on an iron griddle. You can choose between a small bowl size or a larger bowl size, and I tried a few different types in the small bowl size. The first time, the staff cooked it for me, but from the second time onwards, I had to cook it myself, which was also enjoyable. Since it's a new place, I think it's relatively easy to get a table, so give it a try!

Monjayaki is the main dish at this new spot in Sennichimae, where you can enjoy a wide variety of teppanyaki dishes. The entrance is wide and easy to enter, with a casual atmosphere inside. The staff are cheerful and make dining enjoyable. Of course, the highlight is the "monjayaki" with a wide variety of types and numerous toppings to create your own favorite monjayaki. You can order using a QR code. Appetizers include smashed cucumbers, shrimp and wasabi, celery garlic soy sauce pickles, pickled burdock, smoked quail, chanja, and smoked potato salad. They were all delicious, but my personal favorite was the smoked potato salad. The dessert, Mascarpone sweet red beans, had a delightful flavor and texture. The Gorgonzola ham cutlet was crispy and delicious, with the unique flavor of Gorgonzola. The Unzen ham was a knockout with its flavor and juiciness. The special Mojio dish of grilled cheese on a hot plate was a must-order and was incredibly delicious. The Mac and Cheese with plenty of cheese was irresistible. The Enoki mushroom with mayonnaise was heavenly, and the mentaiko mochi monjayaki was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The classic Gomoku monjayaki was filled with plenty of toppings and had a satisfying taste. The Mojio hormone yakisoba with chewy noodles and tender hormone meat was amazing, especially with the divine sauce. The Oni shijimi espresso had a deep, soothing flavor. Overall, the food was delicious, the monjayaki was expertly cooked by the cute staff, and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try the Mojio hormone yakisoba again.

On March 6, 2023, I visited the newly opened teppanyaki restaurant in Namba, Osaka, called Neo Teppanyaki Bar MojiO Namba. They offer various types of monjayaki, which I am looking forward to trying. The staff cooks the food from start to finish, ensuring that you can enjoy it at its best. I ordered the following menu items: - Tatakikyuri (smashed cucumber) - Ebisasa (shrimp and bamboo shoot) - Smoked potato salad - Kabu no sappari-zuke (pickled turnip) - Celery in garlic soy sauce - Chanja (stir-fried spicy squid) Each priced at ¥380 Before the monjayaki was ready, I tried: - Mentaiko mochi monja for ¥780 (or in a rice bowl size for ¥1,380) A popular choice and delicious combination of rice cake and spicy cod roe, satisfying and appetizing. - Old-fashioned gomoku monja for ¥780 (or in a rice bowl size for ¥1,380) A mix of corn, pork, shrimp, and other ingredients that is addictive once you try it. In Ura Namba, a really atmospheric Monja-yaki restaurant has opened. I was lured in by the ambiance and decided to go inside. Not only was the interior stylish, but the customer service and the taste of the Monja-yaki were also top-notch. The Monja-yaki was delicious, and the alcohol went down smoothly, causing me to drink a bit too much (lol). Also, the yakisoba was so tasty that I want to learn how to make it.

It was interesting to see that Monja Yaki introduced a reservation system from the second visit, and there was still a sense of trial and error, which made it enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere was fun. It's a place that doesn't seem to last long, but I hope they continue to work hard and keep the shop going.

The taste is okay and the sashimi is good. A downside is that the staff won't grill the food for you after the first serving, and if you want them to, it will cost an additional 150 yen.
