I visited my favorite Korean restaurant after a long time. They have raised the price by 100 yen since the last time I was here, but I understand it's necessary in these times. Still, I enjoyed a Sundubu brunch for 600 yen. I bought my lunch ticket from the machine near the entrance and found a seat easily. There are both counter and table seats available, making it convenient for individuals or groups. The soup portion seemed a bit small that day, but I was surprised by how filling the meal was for the price. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

I had a strong craving for Gamjatang, so I decided to have a hearty meal here from lunchtime. ★ Orders placed were: - Gamu Sakosu Gamjatang and Samgyeopsal course x2, 2,200 yen each - De son soju (C1 was not available so De son was served), 950 yen My husband chose C1 Korean soju but it was not available, so De son was served instead. We're not sure if C1 will be available in the future or if it's just temporary... (It was a bit hard to hear clearly...) We were fine with anything as long as the atmosphere was good. (laughs) <<Course Details>> - Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) - Red Wine Samgyeopsal (Grilled Pork Belly) - Kimchi Platter - Cabbage Salad - Rice Cakes (Nabe Toppings) - Udon, Instant Ramen All-You-Can-Eat The "Kimchi Platter" consisted of Chinese cabbage, green onions, and radish. It tasted close to the authentic flavor. Then the Samgyeopsal grill was set up. The color of the meat looked a bit off, but it was marinated in red wine (laughs). It's nice to have Samgyeopsal, which is hard to make at home. The meat was cooked for us as well... (^^) When the meat was ready, kimchi, ssamjang, miso, and onions were served. Wrapping the slightly fatty meat in vegetables and eating it was really delicious! After finishing the Samgyeopsal, it was time for the Gamjatang. They use pork from Kyushu for the Gamjatang. I didn't have many chances to eat Gamjatang meat, but the portion was quite satisfying. The spiciness was just right and easy to eat. We enjoyed the rice cakes and the finishing ramen as well. I wanted to try the udon too, but I was so full that I had to give up. You can't really eat a lot of noodles for the finishing all-you-can-eat, right? (laughs) I'm curious about Budae Jjigae and Tteokguk. It's nice that this restaurant has reasonable prices. I would love to come back here if I ever crave Korean food again.

Visited the restaurant with colleagues. Relieved to see a food ticket machine at the entrance for lunch. Inside, Korean idol music videos were playing. Coats and jackets are stored under the chairs. No designated area to place bags, which may be inconvenient for ladies. Overall, satisfied with the taste. However, there were few staff members and drinks were not brought promptly, which was a slight downside.

The interior and exterior of the restaurant are not overly flashy with neon lights, making it easy to enter. I don't know the authentic taste, but the Gamjatang is not spicy at all and the pork bone soup is deeply delicious. It's easy to eat without getting tired. The red wine-marinated Samgyupsal was also delicious. I feel like I could come here alone at night, but there are no single-person menus available, so I wish they would offer set meals or something.

On Saturdays and public holidays, lunch is available from 12:00 onwards with a regular menu. The rumored one-coin lunch seems to be only available on weekdays. When we arrived at 12:00 on this day, the restaurant was quite crowded. After waiting for about 5 minutes and wondering what to do, a staff member dashed over to assist us. It seemed like they were handling everything alone, which was impressive! Here are the orders: - Sundubu jjigae (Spicy soft tofu stew) for 800 yen - Samgyetang (Ginseng chicken soup) for 1,300 yen - Japchae (Stir-fried glass noodles) for 950 yen The Sundubu jjigae arrived bubbling hot, enticing our appetites. Despite being spicy, it was not overwhelming and had just the right amount of heat. I might challenge myself with the extra spicy option next time. The Samgyetang was also served piping hot, warming our bodies. However, it was a bit on the salty side. In Korea, the emphasis is on the natural flavors of the ingredients, and salt is usually adjusted by the diner, so this aspect was a bit lacking here. The flavors seemed tailored towards Japanese tastes. Considering the reasonable prices for hot pot dishes, I definitely want to come back for a leisurely dinner. It's not easy to find a place in Fukuoka where you can enjoy Kamjatang, so I look forward to returning.

A friend recommended a Korean lunch spot that is quite rare in this area. Surprisingly, it was packed with office workers during lunchtime on weekdays! Even older gentlemen come here for lunch, it seems. I bought my meal ticket while waiting for about 10 minutes until I finally got a seat. The restaurant was playing trendy K-POP music in the background. I ordered the Sundubu lunch for ¥500, and it arrived in less than 10 minutes, bubbling hot. It had a lot of tofu in it, making it healthy. Even though I'm not a fan of spicy food, I found the spiciness to be quite mild. I wonder if they can make it extra spicy for those who like it that way? I made a small mistake by not mixing it well before eating, so it tasted a bit bland at first. As expected, the flavor got stronger as I continued eating. It was a good learning experience. The restaurant offers free instant coffee for customers, and most office workers were taking advantage of it. With rice included and free coffee for ¥500, it's quite affordable! Thank you for the meal.

I always used to come for lunch at this restaurant!! You can have delicious Sundubu for only one coin at lunch. This time, I came for dinner. I chose the most expensive course for 2500 yen and 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink for 1500 yen. You can choose from the regular drink menu for the all-you-can-drink option. This is amazing. All the dishes are delicious and cheap. I want to come back again. The total amount is only 4000 yen including tax. Amazing!!

I love having lunch at my favorite Korean restaurant. I've lost count of how many times I've been there. The lunch is so cheap! For just 600 yen, you can get Sundubu jjigae with rice and kimchi. The cost performance is amazing, so I keep going back. It's a great deal compared to other places where just the Sundubu alone can cost almost 1000 yen. You can choose the spiciness level for the Sundubu for free - mild, medium, or extra spicy. I always go for the medium spiciness. You can buy your meal ticket at the machine by the entrance for lunch only. It's a casual atmosphere, so it's great for a quick lunch even if you're dining alone. Thank you for the meal.

Hello everyone. Good evening. This time, I found this place while walking around Tenjin. It seemed like a famous shop from the smell and appearance. Wow, the taste was really authentic. It was delicious. But it was too spicy. You shouldn't underestimate the real deal. It was good value for money. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

At Tenjin Kita, a Korean restaurant run by Koreans, you can enjoy authentic Korean cuisine. The dinner courses, such as samgyeopsal, are reasonably priced, and the lunch menu is always full of customers due to its popularity. You can try dishes like doenjang jjigae and samgyetang, and you can choose the level of spiciness to suit your taste. With K-pop playing in the background, you can experience a casual Korean atmosphere.

I visited at lunchtime. The ticket machine is at the entrance. I wanted to eat Kamjatang, so I ordered directly. There are hardly any places in Fukuoka where you can eat Kamjatang. It's much appreciated. I ordered it with the spiciness suitable for Koreans. It was super delicious! I was completely absorbed in eating!! In Fukuoka, where it is difficult to find authentic Korean ingredients, this quality is amazing. Thank you very much! I will definitely visit again ♡

One-coin Sundubu at "Shintei" in Kitatenjin! Located in a quiet alley off Watanabe Street in Kitatenjin, this Korean restaurant, "Shintei," offers a surprising deal - Sundubu for only 500 yen! It may not look busy from the outside, but they are open for business and even have a lunch menu. The authentic Sundubu they serve at this price is truly impressive. While they may not offer the typical Korean side dishes, the effort they put into providing this quality dish for just one coin is commendable. - Restaurant Information: Shintei Phone: 092-753-9978 Address: 5-8-26 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka Hours: 11:30-15:00, 17:00-24:00

Authentic? Korean flavors, very reasonable prices. The staff were also very kind and provided a heartwarming service. I had the Sundubu-jjigae set meal this time, and it warmed up my body. The course was at a reasonable price, so I will definitely go again! Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited this restaurant as I have a training session at the civic hall in the afternoon. The restaurant is located near Susaki Park. Inside, the restaurant is quite spacious with several tables and counters facing the wall, making it easy for a woman to dine alone. Most of the customers when I visited were women. I ordered the signature dish of this restaurant, Zundubu jjigae. You can make it free of charge, so I asked for it to be a bit spicy as it's a bit cold today. The jjigae arrived in about 5 minutes. The rice came in a metal bowl, typical of Korean restaurants. Let me try the soup. It's very hot and spicy, delicious! It has plenty of tofu and lots of green onions, which is tasty. It goes well with rice. Towards the end, I started to sweat a bit, but it was a good feeling. The egg was at the bottom, so it's better to mix it first. It's a bit far from Tenjin, but it's a good and affordable restaurant. The stone bibimbap the woman next to me was eating also looked delicious, so I might try that next time. If it were closer to my office, I would definitely go there often. Zundubu jjigae costs 500 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Nice to meet you, hello. Perhaps because it's lunchtime on a weekday, there are many customers who look like office workers. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively and chatty. The background music is (probably) Korean pop music, playing at a fairly loud volume, but the chatter is just as loud. Right now, I'm really into spicy and delicious Korean hot pots, so I came here today in search of that kind of meal. And of course, I ordered the Sundubu jjigae ☝ with rice for only 500 yen! A very reasonable price (^-^) Since there doesn't seem to be any side dishes, I added a cabbage salad (100 yen). After a while, the bubbling hot Sundubu jjigae arrived = the pot is small. It's about the same size as the one I had at Han Gang the other day. While waiting for the bubbling to settle down, I'll start with the cabbage salad. It's light and tasty with a sesame oil base. And now, the hot pot. It seemed like the bubbling had settled down, but it was still hot (+o+) There was an egg dropped in the middle, still in its raw shape and half-cooked. I should have mixed it while it was still bubbling. I've ordered Sundubu jjigae at other restaurants before and learned that you should mix the egg in while it's still bubbling, but I forgot ('ω') The ingredients in the jjigae include tofu, shimeji mushrooms, clams, green onions, and other standard items. Han Gang had an overall strong and salty flavor, and it seemed like you were supposed to eat a small amount of salty side dishes with rice, but the flavor of this soup is not as strong as Han Gang's. The rice is glossy and cooked slightly firm, delicious♡ It has the perfect texture when mixed in with the hot pot. They also have a udon version of Sundubu jjigae, which looks delicious too. And the stone bibimbap is also priced at 600 yen, which is very reasonable. As I was leaving, I noticed a pot and instant coffee next to the register. Apparently, you can help yourself to the coffee ☕ Oh, I didn't know that. It would have been nice if the staff had told me. Oh well. Thank you for the meal☆

When you go to Korea, side dishes are a must with your meal, like kimchi and namul. It's similar to Indian thalis. Regardless of price, this is part of Korean food culture. It's a shame that this cultural aspect doesn't quite translate to Japan. Korean cuisine is much richer than that. - Sundubu jjigae: $5 Ingredients include silky tofu, shimeji mushrooms, green onions, a few small clams, and an egg. The spiciness can be adjusted for free, but it's not very spicy by default. The soup is mild and easy to drink, with a mild clam flavor. The rice is cooked firm and deliciously chewy. - Baechu kimchi: $1 This is a traditional kimchi with a strong acidity and a sharp spiciness. It's a favorite flavor.
