Nice to meet you, hello. Perhaps because it's lunchtime on a weekday, there are many customers who look like office workers. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively and chatty. The background music is (probably) Korean pop music, playing at a fairly loud volume, but the chatter is just as loud. Right now, I'm really into spicy and delicious Korean hot pots, so I came here today in search of that kind of meal. And of course, I ordered the Sundubu jjigae ☝ with rice for only 500 yen! A very reasonable price (^-^) Since there doesn't seem to be any side dishes, I added a cabbage salad (100 yen). After a while, the bubbling hot Sundubu jjigae arrived = the pot is small. It's about the same size as the one I had at Han Gang the other day. While waiting for the bubbling to settle down, I'll start with the cabbage salad. It's light and tasty with a sesame oil base. And now, the hot pot. It seemed like the bubbling had settled down, but it was still hot (+o+) There was an egg dropped in the middle, still in its raw shape and half-cooked. I should have mixed it while it was still bubbling. I've ordered Sundubu jjigae at other restaurants before and learned that you should mix the egg in while it's still bubbling, but I forgot ('ω') The ingredients in the jjigae include tofu, shimeji mushrooms, clams, green onions, and other standard items. Han Gang had an overall strong and salty flavor, and it seemed like you were supposed to eat a small amount of salty side dishes with rice, but the flavor of this soup is not as strong as Han Gang's. The rice is glossy and cooked slightly firm, delicious♡ It has the perfect texture when mixed in with the hot pot. They also have a udon version of Sundubu jjigae, which looks delicious too. And the stone bibimbap is also priced at 600 yen, which is very reasonable. As I was leaving, I noticed a pot and instant coffee next to the register. Apparently, you can help yourself to the coffee ☕ Oh, I didn't know that. It would have been nice if the staff had told me. Oh well. Thank you for the meal☆
