I visited this restaurant that I hadn't been to since last summer. It's a branch of Osaka Ohsho, and there used to be branches in Susukino and under an overpass, but now it seems like they have opened several other branches in different locations. This diagonal street (also known as Fighters Street, Prefectural Route 273) is where the main branch is located. It was a Saturday, but since it was a holiday today, I thought it would be crowded, so I went 5 minutes before opening, but there were already 3 groups waiting in line, and 5 more groups lined up before opening. Right after opening, it was already full. I usually always order the large gyoza set meal or the zangi set meal, but I decided to try something different this time and ordered the boiled gyoza set meal. The boiled gyoza was also quite good. It looks like it has less moisture, but when you bite into it, the meat juice overflows. The gyoza here is delicious, but the rice is also delicious. Maybe it's because of the way they cook it. The miso soup right after opening used to have plenty of green and yellow vegetables, which was nice, but now it has turned into a pork-less pork soup (with radish, carrot, onion, bean sprouts, and fried tofu), which is a bit disappointing. It's good that they have both regular disposable chopsticks and wooden chopsticks. Also, it would be nice if they had bag holders and coat hooks for the counter seats. Just a side note, for some reason, they always play a lot of nostalgic songs on the radio, which is amusing.
