My daughter and I went together. This is probably the only place where you can consume such a rich amount of chocolate. The cakes and parfaits are amazing, but the shake-type drinks are incredibly thick, almost to the point of making your nose bleed. Chocolate lovers should definitely give it a try.

Located in the basement of Seibu Department Store, this place is like an oasis where you can relax while enjoying Chocolat sweets after shopping. The staff are very kind, and there are many elderly customers who seem to be regulars. I tried the parfait, dessert glass sweets, and chocolate show. It seems like the menu changes depending on the season.

I took a photo of the menu outside the GODIVA store at the entrance of Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, but ended up buying at the Seibu store in Ikebukuro. Sorry about that! There was a surprising menu item called "Yukishita Ninjin" (snow-covered carrot), but I decided to go with my current favorite, a matcha-based drink. The café here is small, so the Shocolixer is only available for takeout. When I ordered the Uji matcha, the lovely staff mentioned that there was a 50 yen discount if you have the LINE app, so I showed them my old LINE account, re-registered, and got the discount. It took about 6 minutes for the drink to be served. The large size was just right, with a nice aroma of Uji matcha. The first sip was amazing, with a strong matcha flavor and a nice collaboration with white chocolate. It made me crave for matcha shaved ice! The matcha had a good intensity, more umami than bitterness, with a refreshing finish. The white chocolate wrapped around it added sweetness, and the whipped cream on top was fluffy and cold. The bitter matcha powder on top added a nice touch. I took my time enjoying the drink, and the cream on top was perfectly balanced. After a long time, I had a GODIVA Shocolixer, and the white chocolate surprisingly stood out, with Uji matcha being the highlight of the deliciousness, reflecting the freshness of new tea season. It was a good deal for the price at GODIVA in Seibu Department Store. I recommend the rooftop of Seibu Department Store or the parks nearby. The matcha trend is still going strong in Thailand, but is the matcha trend making a comeback in Japan as well? Thank you for the meal.

I went to Seibu to buy something and went downstairs to GODIVA. I purchased a chocolate mousse-like treat and tried it. There was chocolate on top of the jar like a lid. It looked stylish but was difficult to eat. I tried to break it but couldn't, so I peeled it off and ate it. It was delicious, just like normal chocolate. Then I tried the chocolate mousse-like treat. It was tasty. It's chocolate, so it's not surprising, but chocolate is always delicious.

GODIVA is a world-renowned brand of high-end Belgian chocolate. While its image as a luxury item has somewhat faded, the quality that lives up to the expectations of true connoisseurs is still guaranteed. I was curious about it. It was my first time visiting the store at Seibu Ikebukuro while shopping. Once inside, the atmosphere was more pleasant than what I had seen from the outside. The store is part of a series of facilities in the department store basement, but it is a comfortable place to relax. I had the Chocolate Parfait. The portion was moderate, but the taste was excellent, and I felt completely satisfied after savoring it. The top chocolate flavor was satisfying, and the nuts added a premium touch. The chocolate ice cream also had a delicious taste. The price of around 1600 yen for this taste experience is not expensive. I recommend stopping by for a break while shopping.

At ATELIR de GODIVA in the basement of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store, they are offering a limited-time parfait at the eat-in corner to celebrate their 5th anniversary, available until September 6th. I stopped by after work and ordered the "Chocolat Parfait Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store 5th Anniversary" for 1,760 yen. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The Chocolat Parfait had a top decorated with white chocolate labeled 5th Anniversary, surrounded by GODIVA chocolates in a rose-like design. As you eat, there is a chocolate lid that, when removed, reveals a Chocolat Parfait with chocolate ice cream, milk chocolate pudding, crispy praline, and more. I thoroughly enjoyed the GODIVA chocolates. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. August 25, 2022.

Today, I had a limited-time parfait at GODIVA. I had a melon parfait and a cafe latte, while my husband had a peach parfait and a blood orange juice. The parfaits were the highlight with GODIVA's signature fruits and chocolate. However, it took quite a while for our order to be served, so I recommend avoiding it if you're short on time.

At ATELIER de GODIVA in Ikebukuro Seibu, I had a Chocolate Parfait. ATELIER de GODIVA has only three stores nationwide, and this is the only one in Tokyo. From top to bottom, it had chocolate mousse, cocoa powder, whipped cream, chocolate plate, milk chocolate pudding with crispy praline, chocolate ice cream, and chocolate sauce. It was rich without any powdery texture, and the whipped cream was plentiful and delicious. When I tried to break the chocolate plate with a spoon, it was quite thick and didn't break, causing me to scatter cocoa powder everywhere. #ChocolateParfait #ChocolateParfait #Parfait #ATELIERdeGODIVA #Godiva #IkebukuroSeibu #IkebukuroSweets #WhippedCreamIsADrink #MilkFatLover

Atelier de GODIVA Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store ☆ Godiva Verine Peach and White Chocolate ¥735 ☆ Gateau Chocolat Creme de Framboise ¥843 Both looked delicious and it was hard to choose. The watermelon macarons were also cute. I want to try having coffee inside the store next time. (*≧艸≦)

I came to the east side for something and decided to stop by for a Shokora parfait on my way back. However, the service was lacking as there were no clear instructions inside the store, no confirmation of my order, and no one at the counter to help with the payment. The staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves. The taste of the parfait was disappointing as well. It was difficult to eat with cocoa powder flying everywhere, a short spoon that couldn't reach the bottom, and a lack of balance in the layers of cream, ice cream, and chocolate sauce. I expected to enjoy the balance in a parfait, but unfortunately, it was not well executed.

First visit to the underground corner of GODIVA's eat-in space. Perhaps one of the few stores that handle gateaux. I tried the Chocolat Café Cristian for 1,034 yen (tax included) for dine-in or 800 yen (tax included) for takeout. It consists of 9 layers of dark chocolate ganache, coffee buttercream, and cocoa biscuit. I also had the White Chocolate Strawberry Mousse for 1,078 yen (tax included) for dine-in or 842 yen (tax included) for takeout. It features layers of dark chocolate biscuit and strawberry white chocolate mousse, creating a balanced harmony of acidity, sweetness, and bitterness. A cake filled with strawberries. The Café Cristian was quite delicious. The composition is similar to an Opera cake. On the other hand, the White Chocolate Strawberry Mousse was just average. It's also strange that the names are not consistent in French and English. When dining in, you get a chocolate glass, which is truly delicious. The quality of the chocolate is indeed on a different level compared to regular stores. I would like to try other menu items if there are any that catch my interest. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Seibu Ikebukuro after seeing a cute strawberry macaron on their Instagram. The side of the store near the walkway is not as busy, and I didn't know they sold GODIVA. It was the weekend right before White Day, so the dessert shops were all crowded, but the confectionery section was normal. I bought the macaron without waiting, but the service was slow and I had to restart the app multiple times before purchasing. I felt uneasy, so I asked the staff for permission to take a photo. I put the macaron in an eco bag to take home, and when I opened the box, it was a bit messy. However, it still tasted delicious. If it hadn't been messy, it would have easily been a 4-star experience even with the service issue. I was told that you cannot eat the macarons in the store.

Yeah. Maybe it's a good thing it wasn't macarons... I was curious and bought them, but my family didn't like them... It was an expensive souvenir, but it seems like I can't beat Ladurée. The texture was just too hard, felt like I was breaking my teeth trying to eat them.

Ikebukuro Seibu Department Store café and cake shop. I have purchased a few times from this small café with live cakes and a compact kitchen. Since the cakes are seasonal, I often stop by to see what's available. I can only order for takeout at this café, and this time I saw a new limited edition item - Dark Chocolate Orange! It's a chocolate-covered orange peel, a classic combination, but in the form of a chocolate drink at this café! I couldn't resist trying it, especially since it's the grand prize flavor from a contest. I'm excited to try it. I got a discount of 200 yen on my third visit thanks to my Line membership, so the 681 yen drink cost me 481 yen - lucky! When I was reading the menu, the staff kindly offered to take a photo of the drink with the café's logo facing forward. I didn't realize they had a logo before! The drink had orange chocolate flavor, refreshing and delicious. The whipped cream on top blended perfectly with the drink. I prefer a bit more dark chocolate, so I rated it slightly lower, but the orange flavor was well balanced with the chocolate. I love the combination, it's a delightful drink. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. They even offered to dispose of the plastic wrapping on the straw for me. It was a pleasant experience, and I left the café with a smile. Thank you for the delicious treat!

GODIVA in Seibu Ikebukuro B1. I purchased the limited-time ShoColixir in the finest Uji matcha and regular flavors, along with spoon-eatable fresh castella, and the limited-time matcha flavor. The total cost was 1318 yen. The Uji matcha ShoColixir was rich and delicious, with a hint of bitterness and a luxurious flavor. The matcha flavor was also delightful, with a steamed bread-like texture and a guilt-free 151kcal. I recommend trying the ShoColixir if you are unsure, as it is a satisfying treat.

Atelier de Godiva at Ikebukuro. Celebrating their 4th anniversary with a chocolate parfait! The Godiva chocolate is rich but not overwhelming, and the parfait is filled with chocolate from top to bottom without being too sweet. You can enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed. I was impressed by the elegant deliciousness of this dessert!

I have visited ATELIER de GODIVA at Seibu Ikebukuro several times before. The limited number of seats often results in being turned away. My reason for coming here is the GODIVA popular chocolate drink "Chocolixir" Atelier Special. The word "Special!!!" really excites me. The Chocolixir uses rare Tanzanian cocoa, topped with chocolate whip with a chocolate stick labeled "ATELIER de GODIVA", and chocolate chips on the rim of the glass, reminiscent of a Salty Dog cocktail. The visual presentation is so enticing that even I, who usually act cool, couldn't help but smile. It's truly satisfying. Thank you. I confess here that I am a person who loves GODIVA's "Chocolixir". I had the Chocolixir Special Tanzania 75% for ¥1,320.

Instead of lamenting the current situation where we can't openly enjoy drinking alcohol, I want to embrace small moments of happiness like this and live my life. That's what I vow in my heart... (Just kidding♡)

I used ATELIER de GODIVA takeout in Ikebukuro. There is also a small café space. Chocolat Café Cristian for 800 yen. It has 9 layers of dark chocolate ganache, coffee buttercream, and cocoa biscuit, creating a delicious combination with a noticeable coffee aroma. It is made right in front of you, so you can enjoy it fresh. Strawberry Macaron for 735 yen. It had a cute design and the taste was not bad, with fresh strawberries and compote.

I bought two kinds of chocolates. The one with sponge inside was soggy and not tasty. It was disappointing because everything else was delicious. The white chocolate one had cheesecake inside, so it wasn't soggy and tasted good.

Godiva in Ikebukuro Seibu, known for its high-quality chocolates, has become more common to see in convenience stores like Seven Eleven recently. Personally, I don't feel the luxury anymore. This shop also offers desserts for dining in, and I bought a cake.
Items I tried:
- Gateau Chocolat: 3.2
- Heart: 3.5
Both were too sweet for me. Although the taste was good, they are priced at around 900 yen each, and I don't think they are worth that much. I don't think I will buy them again at this price.
