I revisited the restaurant for my daughter's graduation celebration. We ordered a course for two adults and a la carte for my daughter. We were very satisfied with the food and drinks. However, it was disappointing that they don't accept credit cards.

This place is still not well-known, but it's a hidden gem. It's a small restaurant with only a counter, but the tempura is top-notch. The shrimp in particular, which we had as part of the course, was excellent. I usually don't pay much attention to shrimp tempura, but this was outstanding. Reservations are a must, but this is a restaurant worth trying at least once. The calm and clean atmosphere is also very nice.

We usually don't eat out due to my father's work schedule, but by chance we had a day off that coincided, so four adults and one elementary school student went out to eat. Just like the two times before, the food was delicious. The staff were attentive and we had a pleasant time. Both my father and mother were very satisfied and surprised to find such a great restaurant in our local area. The courses listed on Tabelog are not accurate, but you can find the 8000 yen, 6000 yen, and 4000 yen courses on the website. This time we chose the 6000 yen course. The price was a bit higher than last time, but the quality of the food and service justified the increase. The wife was not present this time due to circumstances, so I deducted only 0.1 from the service score.

I have visited this restaurant about 10 times so far. Every time, I have enjoyed different seasonal menus and left feeling satisfied. I have never come across a better tempura restaurant than this one. I only know the 5000 yen pine course, which is always more than enough for me, so I have asked to have less towards the end a few times. They are very accommodating and willing to make menu changes upon request. Even though I am left-handed, they automatically placed the side dishes in a way that made it easier for me to pick up with chopsticks, moving them to the left unlike others. With such service included, I have given Koshou the highest rating.

The Flower Garden Station North Side Shopping Street is not exactly bustling, but just a little off to the side, there is a vibrant alley where many trendy shops line up, and among them stands out a shining shop. It has only 10 counter seats, but it exudes a modern atmosphere and is run by a young couple full of hospitality. I recommend sitting at the back table, where you can see the meticulous work of the owner. There are three course options: 3,000 yen, 4,000 yen, and 5,000 yen. If you feel like just having tempura, go for the 3,000 yen course; if you want to fully enjoy the owner's culinary sense, then choose the 5,000 yen course. Either way, I hope you savor the high-quality tempura that you wouldn't expect in Higashi-Osaka. The cold sake and shochu on the rocks are generously poured, and the aroma of sesame oil adds a nice touch. It's the best. Even though it's a popular restaurant that has been open for 5 years (surprisingly without much word-of-mouth), it's bound to become a highly sought-after reservation-only hotspot in the future, so I highly recommend visiting early.

I used this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. I mentioned that we had a 4-year-old when making the reservation, and they kindly accepted it. The unique counter-only setup allowed us to watch the chefs prepare our food up close, which excited both my wife and daughter. We had the 5000 yen course, which included a wide selection of local sake. I ended up spending a bit more due to drinking too much, but the delicious food paired with the sake made it worth it. They even provided ice cream for my easily bored 4-year-old, showing great consideration. The only downside was that they don't accept cards. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely like to come back for special occasions, as we are locals.
