I was surprised by the contrast between the cuteness of the menu and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Each dish is affordable, but enjoying the refreshing and delicious ponzu sauce and a variety of kashimono yaki ended up costing more. Still, I enjoyed a variety of dishes such as kashimono yaki, tonpeiyaki, sobameshi, and more. The owner, who used to be a Yoshimoto comedian, made the dining experience full of happiness, laughter, and delicious food.

Located a 5-minute walk from Namba in the Sennichimae Ura Namba area, this izakaya offers Kishimin-yaki, a specialty B-class gourmet dish from Kishiwada. Recommended by a business associate, I visited for the first time and was extremely satisfied! The flavor and homey atmosphere are irresistible to lovers of flour-based dishes and alcohol. I ended up drinking too many shochu highballs and beers... Personally, I recommend the original Kishimin-yaki and Karatama-yaki! The owner, Mr. Nakagawa, is friendly and the close-knit atmosphere with the staff and other customers made for a fun drinking session. It was a wonderful, warm, and humanly charming place that made me truly grateful for life after the pandemic. I will definitely come back!

A must-visit place in Osaka for B-class gourmet is #Nihako, specializing in Kashiwa-yaki. Located in the southern part of Osaka, Kishiwada, the thin dough is topped with kashiwa (chicken), minced beef fat, and cabbage. The texture of the kashiwa and the richness of the beef fat are irresistible. Although we couldn't order much as it was our second stop, the mozuku and red wiener were also delicious. Most of all, the kashiwa-yaki was fantastic. This time, we tried the original simple version, but there are various toppings available, so I would love to visit this place again during our next Namba night out. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Nice to meet you, Nihako Lunchtime! I was lucky to come at the right time for this irregular event. I ordered the Natto Negi Kashi-mi Yaki, different from the usual original Kashi-mi Yaki. I was skeptical about natto and flour-based food, but when I tried it, it was delicious! I discovered that natto and sauce go well together. I highly recommend it!

I went to Kashimin Yakki Nihako again in Izumi, Osaka! Exiting from Nankai Namba Station south exit, walking towards Sakai-Suji on Nansan Street, turning into the alley next to the G-Store Osaka, it's just a 30-second walk to get there. This time, I went with a few friends. We had the classic original Kashimin Yakki, mochi cheese, negiyaki, yakisoba, and cucumber. So delicious! Even the pickiest eater would be surprised by the taste! The alcohol kept flowing. Unlike okonomiyaki, the dough is thin so you can eat two pieces easily. Both adults and children love this flavor. When in Osaka, you can't miss Kashimin Yakki! Highly recommended!

What is "Kashimin-yaki"? The interior of the restaurant has a retro feel of an old-fashioned okonomiyaki shop in the downtown area, which gives a nostalgic vibe. The ceiling is filled with memories of Nakagawa Takashi from the Randees era. Kashimin-yaki (a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with kashiwa and minced chicken) is rare around here and seems to be a local specialty from Kishiwada. It was very healthy and delicious! The prices are reasonable, offering great value. It is recommended as it is visited by a wide range of people, including Yoshimoto Shinkigeki members, comedians, boat race athletes, sumo wrestlers, artists, and idols.

It was my fourth stop for eating and drinking, so I only ordered one dish, but the savory okonomiyaki was delicious and perfect for finishing off the drinks! I also liked the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The glasses were really cute!

After working on Sunday, I decided to get off at Ebisucho Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line in the evening to have dinner. I walked about 800m north and arrived at a recently opened Tokushima ramen shop called "Chin Soba Tatsumiya" just before 7pm. However, when I entered, the staff told me that they were just closing. It seemed that they had run out of soup or maybe they closed early on Sundays. Disappointed, I walked a little further north to the Nipponbashi electric town and found a popular ramen shop called "Menya Joroku." But to my dismay, they were already closed. Feeling rejected by two ramen shops, I stumbled upon an interesting restaurant next to Menya Joroku. It turned out to be a restaurant called "Nihako" specializing in Kashimin-yaki, a local dish from Izumi. The place was run by a former comedian named Randy's Nakagawa. I ordered a draft beer, teppanyaki with ponzu sauce, and the original Kashimin-yaki. The beer was refreshing and the Kashimin-yaki, made with minced beef fat and chicken, was delicious, although the sauce was a bit too sour for my taste. Overall, it was a unique dining experience in Osaka.

Many people in Osaka may know about Nakagawa-san's shop, Randeez. He does impressions of comedians like Kawato. I've been there twice and met Nakagawa-san both times. They serve a dish called "kashiminyaki," which is like okonomiyaki with minced chicken inside, similar to chijimi in texture. It's a great side dish and reasonably priced. The menu is small, but it seems they focus on quality over quantity. I can relate to that. Thank you for the meal.

I was asked by an acquaintance if there was anything interesting around, so I suddenly remembered a place I recently visited. "How about trying Kashimin-yaki?" "It's run by Nakagawa from Randeez." My friend, who didn't know either, followed me with a puzzled look. "Is there a restaurant in a place like this? Is this a love hotel area?" Yes, the location is in a residential area behind the rows of love hotels between Dōgu-yasujin and Nipponbashi. In this quiet and dark place, there are several restaurants lined up. One of them is this place. Run by the comedian Randeez, this restaurant offers Kashimin-yaki, a deep Osaka gourmet dish that you can enjoy. And it's cheap. Originally from Minami Osaka, Kashimin-yaki is like a cabbage pancake with chicken mince (abbreviated as Kashimin) inside, giving it a juicy meaty texture with the sweetness of the sauce, making it a snack-like meal. The sweet and savory taste of the sauce is loved by Osaka people, especially when paired with beer. Though I've never had Kashimin-yaki anywhere else, I can say for sure that it's delicious here. Starting with the original Kashimin-yaki, they also offer various specialty dishes like Takuan Kashimin, Natto Kashimin, Kimchi Kashimin, and their famous Soba Meshi. The owner, Nakagawa-san, recommends the Natto Kashimin, which is also delicious, but this time I tried the Takuan Kashimin, Kimchi, Soba Meshi, and assorted side dishes from the counter. We also had about 7 beers for two people. All of this cost less than 5000 yen, making it a high cost-performance restaurant. A hidden gem in the alley, Kashimin-yaki is a place known to those in the know.

In a small alley between Namba and Nipponbashi, there is a shop run by Mr. Nakagawa from The Randies! I passed by it once before! Inside, there are many autographs on the walls and lots of photos of The Randies on the ceiling, creating a cozy atmosphere. The beer glasses are cute! I couldn't resist taking photos! I ordered the homey-tasting "sujikon" and the original "kashimin" okonomiyaki, as well as the popular tomato cheese kashimin okonomiyaki. The sujikon was delicious with a homemade flavor, and the kashimin okonomiyaki was different from regular okonomiyaki - even someone like me who doesn't like okonomiyaki could enjoy it! The tomato cheese kashimin okonomiyaki was a hit with women for a reason - the creamy cheese paired perfectly with the tangy tomato. Mr. Nakagawa's lively talk added to the enjoyable meal. Thank you for the meal!

I tried "Kasiminn-yaki" for the first time and heard that it is run by Mr. Nakagawa from Randees, so I went there right away! It was really delicious with a different taste from okonomiyaki, and the inside of the restaurant is full of autographs from celebrities. When I went there, there was also a comedian.

Jiangrz, hello. We went to Shirai Nissan 168. The 175th stop was Kashimin Yaki Ni Hako. This restaurant is owned by the comedian Randy's Nakagawa. Today, we are visiting restaurants owned by comedians. This is the second stop. Even though we were full from eating rice, we decided to have a quick drink! We ordered Kashimin Yaki and Lime Sour. Since we arrived just before closing time, we were the only customers. The walls were covered with signatures of comedians, and since Namba Kagetsu is nearby, we might be lucky enough to meet a comedian! Kashimin Yaki is a local dish from Kishiwada, Osaka, made with minced chicken and beef fat, similar to okonomiyaki. It was my first time trying it, but it was cheap and delicious! It may be considered B-class gourmet, but it is really excellent food. The sauce was sweet and tasty, and the cabbage was moist and fluffy. The restaurant has a hidden gem vibe, making it a great spot for a date. It's cheap and delicious, so definitely worth a try. I will definitely visit again. No complaints.

I had "kashimin yaki" for the first time in my life. Kashimin yaki is not your typical okonomiyaki with pork or squid, but it is made with chicken ("kashiwa") and minced beef fat ("minchi"). It is cooked differently from the usual okonomiyaki. The batter is first cooked into a circle, then cabbage is added on top, followed by sautéed chicken and beef fat. Finally, more batter is added before flipping it over and cooking until the cabbage is soft. The beef fat helps prevent dryness, adds richness, sweetness, and prevents sticking to the griddle. It is seasoned with Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce at the end. There are various types of kashimin yaki available at the restaurant, such as tomato cheese kashimin and negi (green onion) kashimin. They are light and addictive. Delicious!

I was brought to this restaurant by a friend. The nearby ramen shop had a long line, so this place must be famous. The restaurant only has a counter, and it seems like most customers are regulars. I heard that it's run by Nakagawa from Randees. The walls are covered with signatures of comedians. I ordered the specialty dish called "Kashimin Yaki". It looks like okonomiyaki but it's made with chicken and beef fat, giving it a slightly sweet aroma. It goes well with beer, and since it's a teppanyaki restaurant, other menu items also pair nicely with beer. The staff was polite and the atmosphere was comfortable.

I went to Kashimin Yakki Nihako✨ It's like a hidden place in the back alleys of Ura Namba! So much variety in their green onion yakki✨ I couldn't decide~^_^ This time, I tried the Tomato Cheese Kashimin Yakki! The sweetness of the sauce, the acidity of the tomato, and the smokiness of the garlic that comes later! Oh no! I'm hooked! I devoured it all (laughs) The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great~^_^ I had a lot of sake there✨ I think it's a recommended place for salarymen and couples!

Hello there. It's my first visit to "Izumi Shu Kashi Min Yaki Nihako." I had been curious about it, but surprisingly it was my first visit. When researching kashi min yaki, it seems to be a bit different from the typical okonomiyaki. It's recommended to try the kashi min yaki here, which is made with chicken and minced beef fat instead of the usual pork or squid commonly used in okonomiyaki. In the Kansai region, okonomiyaki with chicken (kashiwa) is often seen, but combining it with beef fat is unique to Kishiwada, making it a local specialty. After understanding kashi min yaki, I decided to toast without carbohydrates. I tried the rolled egg cooked on an iron plate with kashi min yaki dough inside. It's more like a dish with a lot of eggs, similar to an American-style omelette. There are still many dishes I don't know about. I was tempted to leave after trying these two dishes, but there was one menu item that caught my attention. I won't post a picture, but it was truly satisfying. Thank you for the meal. Well then, I've decided to focus on one ranking button. I kindly ask for your support. Thank you. ↓↓↓
