I had a meal at Gyuzo, where I chose a 4-course set meal with hot pot. The restaurant is located just off the shopping street, as shown in the photo. There are table seats on the second floor, and the atmosphere is cozy. We started with a toast with beer, and you can choose between chanko-nabe and motsu-nabe for the hot pot, which came with edamame, fried chicken, potatoes, and a set of zosui for only 2,180 yen per person, which was quite reasonable. The motsu was chewy and delicious. We also added chicken liver sashimi and stingray fin to our order. I was curious about the craft beer called Tap Marche on the table, so I ordered it. It was a flavorful craft beer that left me feeling a bit tipsy. The zosui at the end was overwhelming in volume, like a hearty portion. It was a delicious meal.

For lunch, we wandered around the shopping street and stumbled upon a sign that caught our eye. We decided to try the restaurant tucked away in the back. The place seemed to be run by just one woman, as it was counter service only. We ordered the tuna cutlet set meal, which came with soup and a lunch plate. The food was quite delicious and overall not bad. However, the service was a bit lacking, probably because the woman seemed very busy.

<I visited Irodori in Tamatsukuri on March 25, 2017. The restaurant is located a bit off the main shopping street in Tamatsukuri. It seems to be run by a couple. The first floor has counter seats and the second floor has space for larger groups. While waiting for the food, I had a draft beer.
- Hamachi Sashimi: The yellowtail sashimi was quite fresh.
- Irodori Salad: I thought it would be a large portion due to the price, and it was indeed big. I wish they had a half size option.
- Yakitori: I had shiitake mushroom, green onion, tsukune (chicken meatball), and salt-grilled chicken. I paired it with hot sake.
They serve Kikumasamune sake, and I noticed the glass tokkuri I saw somewhere else before. It's a rare find. They also offer a variety of local sakes priced between 600 and 850 yen per glass, with the most expensive being Dassai 39.
By the way, I heard that the neighboring hot pot restaurant is also affiliated with this place. Thank you for the meal.>
