I visited the shop after 2 pm, and although it was crowded, I was able to enter without waiting. This shop is opened by the former manager of the relocated Kirimen main store, so my expectations were high. I sat at the empty counter seat and looked at the menu. There were ramen and tsukemen, and after some hesitation, I decided to order the "Chicken White Soy Sauce Ramen" (950 yen). The bowl was topped with chashu, menma, green onions, and white onions, and the soup looked thick and rich. The chicken white broth soup was rich, with a strong flavor of whole chicken and a sharp saltiness and acidity from the soy sauce. The noodles were made with whole wheat flour and had a chewy texture, with a strong wheat aroma and flavor that paired well with the rich soup. The thick-cut chashu had a delicious pork flavor and tasted great on its own or dipped in the soup. Despite the rich and creamy soup, the green onions and white onions complemented it well, and the noodles were excellent, just as I had hoped. It was a delicious ramen from start to finish.

The former location of Kirimen, which closed down while being missed, has now been reopened by one of the apprentices with the same DNA. I heard that some menu items from Kirimen were retained, so I was thrilled to see my favorite dish still available. I ordered the rich and light shoyu tsukemen, shoyu ramen, and karaage. The noodles were incredibly delicious. The tsukemen soup was also very tasty. The karaage was even more delicious and incredibly tasty. It's no wonder that the new restaurant already has a long line despite just opening.

"Menya Denryu Trial Menu TAKASAGO ¥1,000. 'TAKASAGO' is a dish that the owner Tanaka used to eat during his sumo wrestler days at Takasago stable, which is a soy sauce-based sauce. It is made with carefully selected Kyoto soy sauce 'Kyomurasaki' seasoned with bonito flakes, seafood, green onions, and more. This sauce is mixed with homemade thick flat noodles made with a No. 10 blade, and it is exciting to see this evolution into a product. Truly delicious! Excellent! Mr. Tanaka, who has long supported the famous restaurant "Kirimen" that closed due to relocation to Kashi City, opened his own restaurant on September 1, 2023. There was a long line outside, but it was no problem as they use a reservation system and it's cool inside. I ordered the "Chicken Shoyu Ramen" - it had a rich and hearty chicken broth with homemade noodles that were outstanding even in this rich soup! It was incredibly delicious. And the fried chicken went really well with this chicken broth.

Menya Denryukkei Asari Tsukemen SP version ¥1,100 The SP version of "Asari Tsukemen" is when the final soup is diluted with 'Chicken White Soup' instead of 'Seafood Soup', allowing for a different flavor experience. We highly recommend trying the chicken white soup dilution. The special Kyoto soy sauce "Kyomurasaki" is a thick and rich type with a balance of umami and sweetness. The homemade thick and chewy noodles are satisfying to slurp, thanks to the skilled craftsmanship of the apprentice of "Ramen Kirimugi". Yes, it's ramen time! "Chicken Clear Soup Light Dipping Noodles" for 1,100 yen at "Menya Denryu". The extremely popular restaurant in Osaka, "Kirimen Honten", closed at the end of July due to relocation. The shock of losing Kirimen was softened by the fact that the former manager, Den-san (also known as Tanaka), took over the location and opened "Menya Denryu" as an independent restaurant on September 1st. By the way, Tanaka used to be a sumo wrestler at Takasago stable, which is quite an unusual background! Finally, I visited the new restaurant. It's convenient that they have a reservation system. I ordered the "Chicken Clear Soup Light Dipping Noodles". I'm thrilled that my favorite Chin-Kiri is still on the regular menu! It's great that you can get 1.5 servings of noodles for the same price. I plan to have another meal later, but of course, I'll stick with 1.5 servings (lol). And don't forget to get some soy sauce. After a short wait, the noodles arrived. [Visual] The nostalgic visual is right in front of me! I'm so happy. The design of the noodle bowl has changed slightly. [Noodles] First, the noodles... They are delicious on their own, but dipping them in soy sauce is just unbelievably good! Although the flavor of the noodles is slightly different from the Kirimen era, it's clear that Den-san, who worked hard as a noodle maker during that time, has inherited the noodle-making DNA! [Soup] Next, dipping the noodles in the soup... Delicious! The richness of the chicken, a hint of acidity, a touch of spiciness, and the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors are amazing! [Toppings] In the dipping sauce, there are tender slices of chashu! The flavor of the dipping sauce clings to the chashu, making it moist and delicious! After finishing the noodles, I enjoyed the soup with extra noodles and felt satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Congratulations on your independent opening. I visited around 11:15 and only had a short wait before being seated. They don't have a ticket machine like the old Kirame, you pay after ordering. The chicken broth soy ramen was 950 yen and delicious. The noodles were not as good as Kirame, but still tasty. I want to try the salt dipping noodles next time.

I had the "Chicken White Broth Shio Ramen" at Menya Denryutei for ¥950. The chicken white broth soup was rich and delicious. The homemade thick noodles had a satisfying chewy texture. I also ordered the fried chicken set for ¥350, which included 2 pieces of chicken thigh nuggets and rice. It was a great deal. Overall, it was perfect.

Congratulations on your opening, Menya Denryu at Mitsuya. Thursday, September 7, 2023. This is my first visit. Menya Denryu has opened at the former location of Kirimen Honten. I'm looking forward to it. 12:13 Arrived. 10 people waiting, signed the board. Placed an order on the way. 12:36 Entered. Seated. 12:52 Tsukemen arrived. Chicken Paitan Rich Tsukemen 1050 yen, noodle extra serving 150 yen, 2 pieces of fried chicken 250 yen, total 1450 yen. The noodles, with the DNA of Kirimen, were consistently delicious and satisfying. I tried them plain at first and thought, "This is it!" The rich chicken paitan dipping sauce had a great depth of flavor and originality. The large and juicy fried chicken was fantastic. I'm already thinking about what to order next time. Arrived at 11:36 on a regular day. Connected with 5 people waiting first. This is a new store that opened on September 1st at the site of Kirimen, with disciples. Entered at 11:52, served at 11:58. - Chicken Shoyu Ramen 950 yen (tax included) The appearance is similar to Kirimen, with a rich ramen. The soup has a strong soy sauce flavor, with a rough texture of chicken bones, allowing you to really taste the chicken. The homemade noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a good firmness, very delicious. The toppings are bamboo shoots, chashu, green onions, simple. The chashu is thick, well-balanced with fat, and very satisfying. It's so delicious that you'll want to add more toppings, but chashu toppings are not available on the menu yet. So far, the only additional topping was a boiled egg. The manager was alone in the kitchen, and a woman was running the hall alone, looking very busy. I hope they do well. I'm curious about other menu items, so I would like to revisit. It was delicious, thank you very much!!

I went to Menya Denryu, which opened on September 1st, and enjoyed their default dish, the "Chicken Shoyu Ramen." The soup, made from chicken white broth, had added richness from pork fat even though it didn't contain pork knuckles. The flavor, reminiscent of Kyoto soy sauce "Kyomurasaki," was quite strong. The homemade thick noodles, cut to a width of 16, were slightly chewy and long, aiming for a pleasant slurping experience. However, they felt a bit rubbery and slightly tough when bitten into. This might be due to the restaurant being newly opened, so some inconsistency in taste is understandable. I look forward to further improvements in the future. ⭐️perfect⭐️

The ramen made by Denryu-san, the second disciple of Kirimen, who used to be a sumo wrestler, is based on chicken white broth and harmonizes with pork back fat to create a rich and smooth soup. Whether you choose the chicken white broth dipping noodles, light dipping noodles, or chicken white broth soy sauce ramen, they are all delicious! The noodles are also homemade using Kirimen's techniques. The new store is still evolving, so I look forward to the noodles aging and becoming even more delicious in the future!

Visited this place for the Chicken Paitan Tsukemen for 1050 yen. You can choose the amount of noodles, either 1 serving or 1.5 servings. The dipping sauce is quite salty with a strong bonito flavor. The noodles are medium thick and smooth, but for me, the saltiness was a bit too much. It's a newly opened place so it's understandable that they are still working out some kinks. We visited when it was not too crowded.

I highly recommend the light and delicious dipping noodles at "Kirimen Honpo" for those who prefer a refreshing taste. The popular dish known as "Chinkiri," which was previously a secret menu item but is now part of the regular menu due to its popularity, is a must-try. The "Electric Dragon Ver" version allows you to choose between 1 or 1.5 servings of noodles, with an additional charge for a double serving. When ordering the dipping noodles, if you mention the password "Sashimi Soy Sauce," you will receive complimentary sashimi soy sauce. The noodles are served separately for you to enjoy first, followed by dipping them in the sauce, and finally using the remaining sauce to dilute the soup for a complete meal experience. The soy sauce used is "Kyomurasaki" from Namba Soy Sauce Brewery, which enhances the flavor of the dish. The dipping sauce is light yet flavorful, making it a delightful meal. I finished it quickly as it was so delicious. I am looking forward to trying more original menu items in the future.

In Osaka, the popular "Kirimen" ramen shop's former apprentice has opened a new store on September 1st. The location used to be Kirimen's original shop, and there are congratulatory flowers from famous ramen shops like "Kirimen" and "Ramen Jinsei JET" displayed outside. The menu still retains some items from Kirimen, including their homemade noodles which are delicious as always. When ordering the dipping noodles, you can also order their signature sashimi soy sauce. The dipping noodles are still excellent, with a slight change in the soy sauce brand used. The sweetness of the soy sauce seems to have increased compared to before. While the original menu is still limited, this new shop shows promise for more exciting dishes in the future. When I first heard about the sudden relocation of Kirimen, I was quite disappointed. I loved their chicken shoyu tsukemen. Although the main store in Juso remains, I wished they had stayed here in Mitsuya. However, Denryu-san has taken over that taste. And the noodle maker who was Kirita-san's right-hand man. The taste remains unchanged and delicious. However, there is only one disappointing point... the menma. The menma at Kirimen was even praised by those who disliked menma. The menma donburi was a must-have item with the tsukemen. That menma donburi was also removed from the menu. Looking at other reviews where no one mentions it, I wonder if I am strange for being so particular about menma. I should be grateful just to be able to eat the previous tsukemen. Denryu Ramen.
