After finishing work on Wednesday, I went to buy cookies. I wanted to buy fresh cookies, but it would take too long to get home, so I gave up and bought a regular assortment of cookies instead. They were all delicious and amazing. I will buy them again. - Nut Spread: Spicy and delicious - Hazelnut Cherry: The cherry adds a nice texture accent - Marble Cocoa Cookie: Delicious - Nero Chocolate Cookie: Delicious - Dotted Lemon: The most delicious - Chocolat Amande: Delicious - Florentine: Thick and satisfying to eat - Pimento: Spicy, with chocolate chips and pistachios as accents

I look forward to the chocolate exhibition every year on Valentine's Day. Of course, I bought some chocolates as a treat for myself this year. I chose the Demel solid chocolate with cat packaging that I had been interested in for a while. Among the three flavors, I chose milk because I love sweet things. It's said to be the sweetest of the three, but it's not overly sweet, and I can't stop eating it. The chocolate has a good melt-in-your-mouth texture and a gentle milk flavor. I didn't know that Demel is famous for its Sachertorte, so next time I'll try their cakes too.

On the way to Shinjuku Nakamuraya, I stopped by Takashimaya and bought Demel's Coco Stiggle with 12 pieces. It's a sandwich made with hazelnut paste and milk chocolate cream in coconut-flavored puff pastry, with a delicious coconut aroma.

I am a drinker, so I don't eat sweets much... Is there any scientific basis or body mechanism for this? Somehow, eating sweets requires energy or affects your mood? Maybe it doesn't go well with the pace of drinking? Depending on the type of alcohol, there are sweet-tasting Japanese sake options, so maybe salty foods go better with them than sweets? I was struggling with this, but I ended up ordering the one in the title. It's not sweet. Does it really go well with alcohol? It's a bit debatable, but it has a long shelf life, doesn't interfere with alcohol, and considering the beauty of the packaging and the excitement of giving and receiving, it's a gift worth buying. I also tried it, but I was so drunk that my memory is fuzzy. However, it left a good impression in my mind, so I vaguely remember saying, "See? Isn't it delicious?" Personally, I find it very useful.

Shinjuku Takashimaya's patisserie, Demel. Tabelog rating: 2017.04.23_★3.09【First visit in April 2017】When it comes to Sachertorte, Demel may be one of the most famous chocolate cake shops in the world. The Sachertorte was developed by a person named Sacher, and when the hotel "Hotel Sacher" owned by his relatives was in financial trouble, Demel provided financial assistance. In return, they gained the rights to sell Sachertorte. Pochi-san's dad bought it in Shinjuku♪ - Sachertorte: The outer chocolate and the gooey texture between the dough layers are delicious. The dough itself is a bit dry, but overall, I think it's quite tasty. It's sweet, so I recommend having it with black coffee or unsweetened tea. - Mont Blanc: Decorated with candied chestnuts on the outside, and filled with chestnut cream instead of whipped cream. The base is a tart. It's sweet but delicious. - Nut Chocolate Cake: The chocolate with nuts is tasty. The dough here is also a bit dry like the Sachertorte, but it's balanced out by the nut chocolate cream. Overall, the sweetness is quite strong. The chocolate-based desserts are quite delicious. Thank you for the meal~♪

I love sweets. Normally, I am captivated by colorful sweets, but sometimes I have an irresistible craving for a rich Sachertorte. The intense flavor with a hint of apricot jam acidity is just irresistible. I always think that the larger size has more apricot jam flavor (my family thinks I just want a bigger portion). I usually buy a size 3.5 or 4, but this time I bought a size 4. I purchased it on 3/11 (Sat) and the expiration date is 3/15 (Wed), which is relatively long, making it easier to buy the larger size. When I opened the wooden box, there was a Sachertorte wrapped in sturdy wrapping paper. I unwrapped the layers and uncovered the Sachertorte with the iconic double-headed eagle of the Habsburg family, the landmark of Demel. I wondered if they sell the same shape in Vienna as well? It was delicious.

I received a box of 10 Shinjuku Fresh Cookies. When I opened the box, I was surprised!! It was like a jewelry box full of cookies (*⁰▿⁰*) It was completely different from what I had imagined. Since they are fresh cookies, they are soft with a light texture! Some had almond filling sandwiched in between. The ones with plenty of almonds in the middle had a strong rum flavor! The truffle-topped cookies were so melty~! There were elegant ones like jam-topped tarts and flower-shaped ones! These were cookies for adults!!

Demel is a famous traditional chocolate shop in Vienna. They are known for their royal chocolates, approved to use the coat of arms of the Habsburg family. The elegant atmosphere of the shop and their products are quite appealing. I purchased the Demel Shokorade Thaler (vanilla and strawberry, 12 pieces each) at the Shinjuku Takashimaya store. The price was around 2000 yen plus tax. These chocolates are shaped like the silver coins "Thaler" used in Europe. They come in two flavors: vanilla with Belgian white chocolate base, and a sweet and refreshing strawberry. Demel is not only delicious but also has incredibly cute and photogenic packaging. Each piece offers a unique taste experience with rich flavors and depth. They make great gifts as they have a good shelf life at room temperature. While the white chocolate was quite sweet, I really enjoyed the strawberry flavor. Highly recommended as a treat for yourself or as a gift. #Demel #DEMEL #chocolate #ValentinesDay #sweets #desserts

Cocos Stiegel (8 pieces) ¥1,080. Demel is a confectionery shop in Vienna, Austria, famous as a purveyor to the royal family. It is also well-known for its Sachertorte, with a reputation for excellent chocolates. I had heard good things about it, so I decided to try it for myself. The Cocos Stiegel that I bought was absolutely delicious. It is a small treat made with hazelnut paste and milk ganache sandwiched between coconut-flavored Langue de Chat biscuits. Despite the high price of ¥1,080 for 8 pieces, the taste was worth it. The combination of nuts, coconut, and just the right amount of sweetness was exquisite. Enjoying it with a strong coffee enhanced the delicate flavors even more. I can imagine that the recipients of this treat would have been very pleased. Overall, it was a great choice. If you're wondering why I bought it at Takashimaya in Shinjuku, well, there are other stores that sell Demel products too, like Isetan. Whether you choose Takashimaya or Isetan, it's up to you. Thank you for the delicious treat.

I finally, finally, finally!! got to try Demel's fresh cookies ♡♡ I had been wanting to try them once, but whenever I wanted to buy them, they were sold out or I didn't have enough money in my wallet. It had been a few years like this. But one day when I went shopping with my mom, I casually mentioned that I wanted to try them, and she bought them for me right away. Happiness really does come unexpectedly!! These cookies are made with plenty of fresh cream and butter, giving them a moist and soft texture. There are no labels indicating which flavor is which, so I couldn't tell which was which, but the chocolate part was delicious, and the cookie part had a rich flavor. I felt a guilty pleasure from consuming so many calories. Some of them have a considerable amount of alcohol, so they may not be suitable for children. I enjoyed one delicious cookie every day until they were all gone! The expiration date is quite short, like a cake's (I finished them about 3 days past the expiration date). They would be great to share at a girls' night or with friends who can appreciate their richness.

Demel is a well-known chocolatier specializing in high-end pastries. The store in Shinjuku Takashimaya offers a variety of chocolates, baked goods, and half-baked sweets. I tried the famous Sachertorte in the smallest size, which was rich and satisfying. The Chocolat Dentelle was a large chocolate cake packed with flavor. I also enjoyed the Kleine Kuchen, which included fig and pistachio flavors. The store's history and luxurious packaging added to the overall experience. Thank you for the delicious treats!

I bought a Demel Selection at TAKASHIMAYA's DEMEL. Inside, there was 1 Kaiser Kuchen, 4 Koko Stückel, 4 Kleine Kuchen (2 each of fig and pistachio), and 12 Sour Sticks. It cost 3150 yen. It looks very fancy. When I opened the package, it was cute inside as well. I enjoyed various flavors and textures in small portions. In particular, the Kleine Kuchen and Koko Stückel were delicious. The package is cute, so it seems like it could be useful for something after eating.

I purchased this snack as a gift, thinking that the package design is bright and would be appreciated by women. The contents are quite varied and I thought it would be enjoyable even after opening. In the end, I ended up eating it myself... The contents were quite substantial, with a variety of items, including 12 sticks of different flavors. It was nice to be able to enjoy 6 different flavors by having 2 sticks each. It's always nice to be able to enjoy a little bit of various flavors. Even after the snacks were gone, the box is so cute that I feel bad throwing it away.

After visiting Salon du Chocolat at Shinjuku Isetan, I went to Kinokuniya to buy some bread. I decided to look for a cake for the day, as I planned to do a thorough chocolate tasting later. When it comes to Demel, the options are usually Sachertorte or their chocolate for those with sensitive taste buds, but they had a new product available. The Kaiser Kuchen had a subtle hint of walnuts or hazelnuts. While eating a Sachertorte requires some determination due to its richness, this cake had a perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate intensity. The price was reasonable as well. After enjoying sushi from "Hachiku" with my partner, we found this cake to be a light and delicious treat. It was much better than eating a regular Gâteau Chocolat.

Category: Sweets Demel's candied violets were apparently a favorite treat of Shishii. Hmm, roses and violets seem elegant and beloved by noble people, but violets with sugar? I'm not confident in finishing them because I don't eat sweets... So, I decided to bring them as a gift to my relatives' house. The cute box could also be used as an accessory case. They are quite hard with a faint violet scent. I think it was 2100 yen or was it 2300 yen? It's quite expensive. In the past, sugar was a luxury item, so maybe this was a very expensive and delicious treat back then. But in modern times, huh...? Over 2000 yen for this??? The box with 10 soft cookies was 2730 yen. They were limited to the day's stock, so if you go in the afternoon, they are usually sold out. I had pre-ordered them for a gift, but when I went to pick them up at noon, they were already sold out. They need to be refrigerated and have a shelf life of a few days. Each one is unique, so don't call them cookies... They are very soft cookies. Some of them had a strong alcohol taste.

When I heard about Demel, I knew their Sacher Torte and Cat's Tongue cookies were famous and I wanted to try them. This time, I bought the 0 size Sacher Torte for ¥504! It was ranked 2nd in a certain ranking, so I had high expectations. When I tried it, the outside was a crispy, firm chocolate layer. Inside, there were layers of ganache and apricot jam, making it very sweet! It's not a sophisticated taste, but it's good for when you want something sweet. Next time, I want to try the Cat's Tongue cookies. (^-^)/

I was walking around feeling a bit dizzy when I came across this Sachertorte. It's famous, but I had never tried it before so I decided to buy it. Sachertorte No. 0 (\525-) is a single serving size, but it's so rich that it feels like it could feed two people. It's incredibly sweet to the point where it might make your teeth hurt, but I really enjoyed it. It's also cheap, and I think I prefer it over Tsukabekkarai Kayanuma. Overall, it was a delicious Sachertorte that I would like to eat again.

There is a chocolate shop located inside Takashimaya, just a short walk from Shinjuku Station. The shop has a small and stylish atmosphere, with a showcase filled with delicious chocolates. The packaging is colorful and cute. I tried the Sachertorte, which had a perfect balance of chocolate and liqueur and was very delicious. The fluffy part of the cake was also tasty. I would like to try other sweets from this shop in the future.
