The restaurant has a total of 76 seats, including counter seats and table seats. We were guided to the counter seats. We started with a toast with "draft beer" (319 yen)! For our meal, we ordered the "Triple Beef Set" (1529 yen), "Rib Set" (1089 yen), and "Grilled Liver" (429 yen). The meat was reasonably priced and delicious, making the alcohol go down smoothly! On this day, we also enjoyed "Strong Lemon Sour" (704 yen) and "Makgeolli" (869 yen) in the daytime. After the yakiniku, we had the following three dishes as snacks before paying the bill: "Seseri with Ponzu Sauce" (429 yen), "Assorted Kimchi 3 Types" (572 yen), and "Chanja and Cream Cheese Nori Roll" (462 yen). It was nice to be able to grill the meat on the tabletop stove, but the portion size was a bit small for the price of around 1200 yen. You might encounter some disappointing moments, as you can probably imagine from looking at the photos. I won't go into details to avoid potential violations. Just imagine it. If you look at the harami meat, you might get an idea. It's not marinated in sauce, though (laughs). They also have a variety of side dishes, and the drinks come in large glasses! After enjoying a JET 600 ramen, I decided to have a light drink. The sign saying beer for 190 yen per glass caught my attention. I was tempted to order the hormone set, but it wasn't my favorite cut, so I opted for the standard set instead. The best part about Goen is the cheap beer. Even after having two glasses, it only cost 380 yen, which is amazing! At this point, it was past 9 p.m., and I wondered about the results of the AKB general election. I wonder how it turned out. I went to a New Year's party and it turned out to be a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant. I heard that the young people wanted to eat lots of meat at a reasonable price. This time, there were four of us and we started with a Family Set (3-4 servings). It included grilled kalbi, tender harami, chicken thigh, pork kalbi, juicy kalbi, wiener kimchi platter, grilled vegetables, Korean seaweed salad, and chijimi. We kept adding more orders as we went along. We finished with stone pot bibimbap for a satisfying meal at around 3000 yen per person. The variety of meat might be limited, but as someone who is not obsessed with meat, I found this restaurant to be quite satisfying.

I went to Yakiniku Goen Tamamizu store. It's located in front of the JR Loop Line station. I went there with a friend who lives in Tamamizu and a student. After all, the beer is cheap... So we went up the stairs to the second floor and were seated at a table. The table setting wasn't done, and I think it would be better to clean under the grill as well. Well, the junior was grilling more and more, but it was cheap.

It's great that the meat isn't too fatty! It stays tender without getting tough when cooked! It goes perfectly with the sauce! You should definitely go there with your friends at least once!

We went as a family. It seems to be a sister store of Jounetsu Hormone, but it is a delicious yakiniku restaurant considering the price. Beer is only 190 yen. The meat is delicious when grilled and eaten. There are two types of dipping sauces, soy sauce and miso, which are different from the typical yakiniku sauce sold in stores, with a refreshing sweet taste that feels like "yakiniku restaurant sauce". Since it is a sister store of Jounetsu Hormone, the white meat was delicious. In particular, the Gatumino, Tanmoto, and Akasen are worth trying. Even the red meat is tender and can be enjoyed by small children. Unlike Jounetsu Hormone, the side menu is also substantial. The stone-grilled tomato cheese risotto was extremely delicious. It is a menu that is elaborate and could be served not only in a yakiniku restaurant but also in an izakaya. Personally, I would like to see a wider variety of side menu options. However, when it comes to service... even though the restaurant was not crowded, we were initially seated at a table on the second floor. Since my child is still small and cannot sit alone, and there were only table seats available, I hesitated on what to do. When I asked the staff if there were any child-sized chairs, they said there were none... After considering our options, we were moved to the third-floor tatami room. However, the third floor was empty with only one group of customers. I wondered why they didn't seat us in the tatami room from the beginning, especially since we were with a small child. Even after being seated, the staff did not come to take our order at all, so we had to call them multiple times. They also did not provide small dishes or spoons for children, so I had to go get them myself. There was only one male part-time staff member managing the hall on the third floor, but I think it would be better for him to focus more on customer service. There were several instances where I wanted to enjoy my meal more comfortably. At my usual spot, Jounetsu Hormone, the service is always very polite, and I can always enjoy my meal comfortably, but I cannot recommend bringing small children to this restaurant.
