Today, my family and I visited this popular powder restaurant chain that originated in Kyoto and has expanded to Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga, Nara, and even Tokyo. The competition around here is similar to "Kinta." When I first tried it at the Matsui Yamate store, I was impressed by how delicious it was, so I decided to stop by on my way back from errands. We arrived after 12 o'clock and found a spacious interior with a kitchen space that couldn't be seen in the back, numerous box table seats, and sunken kotatsu seats. The menu offers a wide variety of options including okonomiyaki, yakisoba, teppanyaki, side dishes, salads, desserts, drinks, and courses. We ordered the popular dishes "Waraiyaki" and "Kyoten-yaki" both in mixed versions. Fortunately, we were able to get a table right away, but later on, the waiting area near the entrance was full of couples and families. The dishes arrived after about 20 minutes, and both were cooked without being pressed down too much with a spatula, giving them a light and fluffy texture. The outside was crispy and thick, while the inside was soft and airy. Both dishes contained pork, squid, and shrimp. The Waraiyaki also had soba noodles, giving it a modern twist. We finished quickly, and due to the lightness of the dough, even someone with a small appetite like me could easily have another piece. The service was good, and overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Accessibility for wheelchair users was good, separate washrooms for men and women were available in the back, there was a smoking room, and a shared parking lot with GEO & Second Street.
