Girls' night out! I usually don't choose flour-based dishes when picking a restaurant, but this time I left it up to my friends...♡ First time at this place. The restaurant has a stylish and cute atmosphere ♡ It's been a while since I had flour-based dishes, so I'm excited! There are many dishes and appetizers to choose from, but since we're here, we decided to order okonomiyaki and yakisoba. I think the okonomiyaki had pork and cheese in it? When girls get together, we tend to order dishes with cheese (≧∇≦) The yakisoba had a mix of ingredients with a fried egg on top! It was delicious ♡ We also ordered various appetizers, but... we were so engrossed in our conversation during the girls' night that we forgot to take photos σ(^_^;) → typical. lol The grilled edamame with garlic butter was so addictive ♡ I definitely want to go back to this place ♫

After a long time, I revisited Ei Hachi in Taisho. It's a okonomiyaki restaurant located under the JR train tracks. They have loft seating and the customers are mostly young. The okonomiyaki is their specialty and it's always delicious with a fluffy texture. I also tried their potato salad, which was decently tasty. The yakisoba had a similar impression. If I ever crave okonomiyaki in Taisho again, I'll definitely come back to Ei Hachi. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to eat okonomiyaki, so I initially planned to go to Mozen-san, but it was closed that day. After searching around, my companion suggested this place, so we made a reservation and visited with a group of 5 people. It's a hidden gem teppanyaki restaurant near JR Taisho Station, under the guard. The owner of the restaurant came out to guide us when we arrived by car. There is no parking lot, so we parked at a nearby coin parking. The restaurant is easy to spot, but if it's your first time, you may not know where to enter, which I find charming (laughs). It's a trendy teppanyaki restaurant like an Italian eatery. We were seated in a loft-style upstairs area, where we had to take off our shoes. We ordered tonpeiyaki, negiyaki mix, modanyaki ikatama, pork cheese ball, sobameshi, yakisoba suji kon (extra large), and two Ebisu draft beers. With five people, we ordered a variety of dishes to share, which was fun. We started with tonpeiyaki with pork and egg, which paired perfectly with the beer. The negiyaki was thin, chewy, and had a refreshing taste with soy-based sauce. Modanyaki, an okonomiyaki with yakisoba inside, was a classic choice. The pork cheese ball had a strong presence of mozzarella cheese, which was rich and different from processed cheese, and very delicious. Sobameshi, a fried rice with soba and rice, was quite filling. It was a delight to have sobameshi after a long time. Still feeling a bit hungry, we ordered yakisoba suji kon as the final dish. It had a strong flavor of offal (horumon) oil residue, which was irresistible. I should have ordered a large portion of offal oil residue. Even just the offal oil residue alone would be great (laughs). The guilt is real, but it goes perfectly with beer! The negi and pickled ginger were served separately, so we could divide and top as we liked, which was well-received by those who had preferences. Everyone was very satisfied. It was a great dining experience. Highly recommended. The total bill for five people was 6250 yen (including tax). I had two beers by myself, so I drank moderately (laughs). My companions were happy to be able to drink beer since they were driving. I look forward to trying the appetizer menu next time. It was a great experience!

Located a 5-6 minute walk from Taisho Station, this teppanyaki restaurant offers a variety of dishes from classic okonomiyaki and yakisoba to creative dishes. The lotus root cheese bake and grilled edamame were delicious. The appetizers were so tasty that I ended up eating too many and couldn't finish my okonomiyaki (haha). The interior of the restaurant is calm and relaxing, allowing for a leisurely meal. It's also within walking distance from the Kyocera Dome, making it a great option for post-event dining.

This season, the Hanshin Tigers game at Koshien Stadium opened with three straight losses, which made me so angry that I ended up drinking too much. My memory was hazy, and before I knew it, I found myself at this restaurant from the Taisho era. Located just a short walk from Taisho Station towards Bentencho, hidden under the guardrail, this teppanyaki restaurant feels like a hidden gem. The entrance is in a narrow alley, so you wouldn't notice it unless someone takes you there. Inside, the decor is chic, almost like an Italian restaurant, completely different from what you would expect from a place called "Ei-Hachi." The kitchen is slightly set back, and I vaguely remember a loft-like second floor (laughs). The first floor has four tables with teppan grills, but I couldn't see the second floor. Since I was already full from eating at an izakaya in Koshien, I left the ordering to my companion, and we ended up with okonomiyaki and yakisoba. I forgot to take a picture of the okonomiyaki, but it was fluffy and delicious, with cheese and potatoes mixed in. The yakisoba was also tasty. Even though I was drunk, I could still tell that much, but unfortunately, I don't remember the details (laughs). It's conveniently located a short walk from Taisho Station, with a charming hidden vibe that makes you want to try other dishes. I'll definitely stop by again after watching a game at Koshien (hopefully to celebrate a victory next time!). Thank you for the meal!

I was drawn to the natural feel with lots of greenery. I visited "Teppanyaki Sakaehachi" located in front of the nearest station "Taisho Station" based on its appearance. The interior of the restaurant was also lovely. Of course, the food was delicious. First, the classic "Buta-tama" is a must. Topped with plenty of green onions, the "Buta-tama" satisfied my craving for sauce. In addition to the "Buta-tama," we also ordered "Tonpei-yaki" and "Horumon-yaki," but I forgot to take photos... Among the few photos, here is the "Celery Asazuke." I'm not a fan of celery, but it was delicious. I can't convey it well with the few photos, but there are many surf-themed displays and stickers, and the predominant use of "wood" creates a natural atmosphere that is truly wonderful. I will definitely go back.

Located right under the overpass near JR Taisho Station is a teppanyaki restaurant with a stylish exterior that doesn't look like a typical teppanyaki place. The greenery at the entrance adds a nice touch. Inside, there are four table seats on the first floor and additional seating on the second floor, all with a trendy and unique decor. The menu offers a variety of dishes ranging from izakaya-style items to okonomiyaki. The standout dish was the hamburger - hot, juicy, and flavorful even without sauce. The okonomiyaki with crispy bits of tempura batter was delicious, especially with extra green onions on top. The yakisoba had a perfect balance of noodles and sauce, and was also very tasty. Although there was a bit of a wait between dishes, overall it was a satisfying dining experience. I didn't get to try everything I wanted this time, but I definitely plan on returning to try more of their menu items.

After getting off at Taisho Station and walking straight under the elevated tracks, you will find a teppanyaki restaurant called "Sakae Hachi" on your right. It is marked by a white sign. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and welcoming, making it easy to stay for a long time. The dishes I tried this time were spicy cucumber, tofu, thick-fried tofu with eringi mushrooms and asparagus, pork-wrapped squid legs, salt-grilled sausages, and yakisoba. Everything was delicious and I left feeling very full! They also recommended the okonomiyaki with pork and potatoes topped with cheese, which I would like to try next time.
