Located in the 1st area of Hakata Station Central Street, just a 1-minute walk from JR Hakata Station Chikushi Exit, this restaurant opened on September 28, 2021! It is one of four stores in the Hakata Station area, including the main store, Hakata Deitos store, Hakata Ichibangai store, and Hakata Station Chikushi Exit store. Currently, there are 47 stores operating in 10 countries including the USA, China, and Australia, showing global expansion. Emerging as a leading ramen company in Fukuoka following Ichiran and Ippudo. The interior of the restaurant features counter seats, table seats, and a compact layout. The entrance and exit are separated, and there is no ticket machine but a touch panel menu for ordering, making it easy to understand the provision of alcoholic beverages. The strategy seems to target casual drinkers and tourists. I tried the limited menu "Niku Mori Chuka Soba" and "Tonkotsu Ramen" along with "Chahan" and "Gyoza"! First, the "Tonkotsu Ramen" soup - delicious! The soup, which has a rich pork bone flavor, is always well-balanced and delicious whenever you visit. The saltiness and soy sauce blend are just right! Among all the Ichikoro stores, the soup at the Chikushi Exit store seems to be the most stable and delicious. While it's understandable that the taste varies from store to store due to each store cooking their own soup, it's a shame that the taste at the main store has recently declined. Well, I hope you find your favorite Ichikoro store. Moving on to the soup of "Niku Mori Chuka Soba" - equally delicious! The deep umami of chicken and seafood broth grips you firmly! The addition of a rich soy sauce base creates a "rich and tasty" soy sauce ramen! It has a deliciousness that can rival "Shirakawa Ramen" from Fukushima. Both noodles are delicious with the original noodles from "Menya Keishi". The toppings include pork belly, shoulder loin, white and green onions, all well-balanced and excellent. I ordered the set of rich and creamy foam-style tonkotsu ramen with flavored egg, and also the spicy red ramen. The foam-style ramen had a light and easy-to-drink soup that coated the noodles well and was delicious. The red ramen was quite spicy, but the spiciness was just right and you could still taste the deliciousness. The firm noodles matched well with the spicy broth and were enjoyable. The bite-sized gyoza that came with the set was unexpectedly flavorful with a rich meaty taste, and I would love to have them again. The location is near Hakata Station, so I would like to visit again.

It was my first time in a while at Isshintei. It's still delicious! It wasn't as famous 20 years ago, but now it's a global sensation! Their fried rice can't beat specialty shops, but it's peppery and tasty. The best part here is the char siu! It's thin but meaty and delicious! I couldn't resist getting an extra serving. Adding pickled greens made it taste even better. The touch panel ordering system is also convenient!

Today, I visited a famous Hakata ramen shop. This shop is known for its evolution of Hakata ramen into a bubbly foam style. Although I have been to other branches of this shop, this was my first time here. The interior has counter seats and table seats, with a decent number of seats overall. Customers ranged from individuals to groups, reflecting the diverse crowd in the area. Orders are placed using a touch panel system. I chose the "Ajitama Ramen" based on my mood. There were also set menu options available. The soup had a strong pork bone aroma, but it was not as intense as some other places, with a slightly milder flavor. However, it still had a good balance of richness and umami. The seasoned egg was flavorful and delicious, while the chashu was average. Extra noodles are served separately. While classic Hakata Nagahama ramen is good, sometimes the bold flavor of Hakata tonkotsu ramen is a nice change. If you ask, the staff will provide you with a paper apron. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

I used it for dinner after a live show. I was drawn to the photo and ordered a voluminous ramen with my partner. I chose to try the salt tonkotsu, which caught my interest, instead of the famous creamy tonkotsu at this shop. You can choose the type of noodles, and I chose "firm". The thin noodles were just to my liking ♡ Even though I love rich flavors, they can make my stomach heavy, but I had no problem with this salt tonkotsu (๑´ڡ`๑). My partner, who loves meat, ordered a ramen with a ton of char siu lined up. It looks amazing!!! It seems that the thickness of the noodles was predetermined from the beginning. The noodles were just the right thickness and were delicious☆ You can add spicy pickled mustard greens, but be careful as it is quite spicy! We also had bite-sized gyoza on the side. Really just one bite! The tiny gyoza comes out cutely lined up. We finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal!!

On this day, I arrived in Hakata in the early afternoon and decided to look for a lunch spot. The restaurants inside the station were crowded, so I gave up and settled on Isshokuya just outside the station. I waited in line for about 10 minutes under the scorching sun before entering. I ordered a ramen with seasoned egg, gyoza, fried rice, and of course, beer using the touch panel. The food arrived promptly. The ramen was a light tonkotsu broth that I could drink all of without feeling heavy. The noodles were thin and different from what I've had in Osaka. The gyoza was crispy with a flavorful filling, and the fried rice, although on the light side, was still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Fukuoka but I haven't eaten tonkotsu ramen! That's a big problem!!! While wandering around Hakata Station, I found it! Oh, the famous foam-style ramen? There's a line. If there's a line, I think it's a popular shop, that's what an amateur thinks. It was also in the guidebook. The recent trend is the evolved tonkotsu ramen. Is it okay for a beginner to eat it? I have my doubts, but it's okay. As long as it's delicious. I line up. While waiting in line, I check on Tabelog (a restaurant review website). The main shop here has a rating of ⭐︎3.5, this shop has ⭐︎3... Hmm, going far seems troublesome. Encounters are important. I lined up from around 12 o'clock, and entered the shop in about 30-40 minutes. There were umbrellas at the entrance of the shop, and it said, "Please feel free to use it as a parasol or rain umbrella." How kind. Even before entering the shop, the smell of animals is in the air. Is this the rumored smelly tonkotsu ramen?! I ordered using a tablet. - Original foam-style ramen 800 yen - Salt tonkotsu ramen 800 yen There's no room for extras like flavored eggs or dumplings. Because I just ate bread... Planning is important. About 5 minutes later, the ramen was served. The foam-style ramen has wood ear mushrooms in it. The salt tonkotsu ramen has shinachiku (bamboo shoots). The foam-style ramen is creamy and delicious! The salt tonkotsu ramen is light and delicious! I personally preferred the foam-style. I don't mind the smell of animals. On the counter, there are condiments for flavoring... - Ginger, not red! - Add ginger for a refreshing taste. Add pickled mustard greens... spicy! It's delicious. Be careful with the amount! I'll skip the chili peppers. Although there's a line outside, there's a relaxed atmosphere inside the shop. I couldn't help but refill my water and take a break. I'm tired from walking... After paying, a lovely young lady even escorted us out. It's because the cashier is by the exit. My husband, who sees things from an old man's perspective, was delighted from lining up to being escorted out. Tonkotsu ramen... My experience is from Ichiran a long time ago. The Jangara Ramen, which caused a big boom back in the day, was about 30 years ago. Tonkotsu ramen isn't thick, right? It's light. Maybe because the noodles are thin.

I finally had the chance to try the soy sauce ramen at a pork bone ramen shop that I had been curious about for a while. The prices were a bit high, but I decided to order it along with half a fried rice. When the bowl arrived, it was a beautiful soy sauce ramen. The taste was gentle and delicious. I was honestly surprised. If you're tired of pork bone ramen, definitely give this a try!

This is the Ichikorosha store at Hakata Station Chikushi exit. I usually go to other stores but this was my first time here. It is located near the station and 90% of the customers were foreigners. The sushi chef was professional and the restaurant was always full, but I didn't feel stressed and was able to enter the restaurant. The service was pleasant and the taste was delicious. However, my friends from Tokyo said it smelled bad and couldn't eat it, so it may vary from person to person. I personally love it.

Looking for lunch at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit. Walk along the right side of the station and you'll see a Big Camera store. Turn right at the end and you'll see a red sign right away. You can actually smell the pork outside, so you'll know you're close even before you see the sign. Inside, head to the ticket machine. As a first-timer, I went for the basic ramen for 800 yen. I was seated at the counter facing a narrow wall. It took a bit longer than expected for the Hakata/Nagahama ramen to arrive. The foam on top looked appetizing, along with the wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and chashu. When I tasted the soup, it was surprisingly mild, with no hint of the pork smell outside. The noodles were thin and straight, with a satisfying bite. The chashu was delicious, tender, and flavorful. I also ordered an extra serving of noodles, which were firm, but I decided to avoid ordering them firm in the future. Overall, I would rate my experience as "average" and probably won't be coming back for more.

I used it as a closing ramen! It was still early so the line was short, and I was able to enter the shop in about 5 minutes. I ordered the recommended creamy ramen, gyoza, and a large lemon sour. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup was sweet, creamy, and had a mild taste. It was delicious with no strong flavors. I'm starting to appreciate tonkotsu ramen more recently. I still don't like the strong smell of tonkotsu ramen though... However, I was quite drunk, so I want to try it at the main store next time! Thank you for the meal~.

It had been a while since I last ate it, but the taste matched my memory. The texture was still the best. The balance of the soup, noodles, and wood ear mushrooms was excellent. I did think it might be even better if the flavor was a bit stronger, but the included pickled mustard greens and ginger were also good. I enjoyed eating the pickled mustard greens with the noodles and then adding them to the soup after finishing the noodles. Of course, I finished the soup too.

I used it as a closing for a drinking party. I was able to enter the store just before closing time. Since it was after the drinking party, I ordered the Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen. It is a popular shop in Hakata, and although it was my first time trying it, the taste was as expected. A stable taste that is neither good nor bad! Even though I was just going to go home and sleep, I ended up ordering an extra serving of noodles. Thank you for the meal.

The ramen here was 800 yen and it was also a foam ramen with a soup similar to Hakata Issen. However, I preferred the richness of Hakata Issen's soup. The main difference was the noodles, as they didn't seem to mix as well with the soup here. The main store has much higher ratings, so I would like to try going there.

I heard from an acquaintance living in Yamaguchi that Ippudo is delicious, and I was thinking of going to the Tokyo branch, but I was able to go to the Hakata branch first. The soup had a strong tonkotsu smell, which I like, but it was a bit too intense for my taste. The noodles were thin and straight, and I prefer them to be even firmer. I moved to Kanto and took my first trip since then. When I lived here, I craved soy sauce ramen, but when traveling, I opt for tonkotsu. I ordered the salt tonkotsu for the first time. The mentaiko rice was a birthday coupon treat. The bowl arrived promptly. The aroma is good. The taste is refreshingly delicious! The tonkotsu is also good! I should have tried it sooner, haha.

The collaboration ramen between Agodashi Chuka Soba Rokumitei and Ikko Sha in February was delicious. I always like Ikko Sha's high-quality tonkotsu ramen. They started with a local following and have now grown to become a nationwide and international ramen company. I believe they will become as popular as Ippudo and Ichiran next. Even though they have many branches, the tonkotsu soup made at each store is consistently delicious. This time, I tried the collaboration ramen, and the high quality of Ikko Sha's tonkotsu soup made the dish delicious even with the collaboration. Rokumitei's unique feature is the use of Agodashi broth, but sometimes the overly sweet taste can affect one's preference. However, in this collaboration, Ikko Sha's soup stood out firmly, reducing the sweetness and adding depth to the flavor profile, making it a masterpiece from the first bite to the last drop. The noodles and toppings were well-balanced and delicious. I hope they develop their own version of tantanmen using Ikko Sha's expertise. Ikko Sha is a representative tonkotsu ramen shop in Fukuoka! Highly recommended.

I tried the second collaboration between the popular "Rokumitei" and "Hakata Isshoksha Chikushiguchi Store", known for their Hakata-style soup, featuring the "Bubble-style Seafood Tantanmen" (1,060 yen including tax) available from February 13th (Monday) to February 28th (Tuesday). Limited to 20 servings per day, this special dish combines a seafood-flavored Japanese-style Tantanmen with a rich bubble-style tonkotsu soup. The soup was delicious, with a perfect blend of Hakata Isshoksha's tasty tonkotsu soup and Rokumitei's sesame sauce and flavorful fish powder. The custom-made egg noodle had a strong wheat flavor that complemented the rich tonkotsu Tantan soup. Toppings included komatsuna, pork shoulder chashu, and minced chashu mixed with sweet bean sauce, topped with white negi. The spiciness was moderate, but for those who prefer a spicier taste, you can add more spice from the table. Make sure to finish every last drop of the soup, with the blend of tonkotsu powder, sesame, and fish powder at the bottom of the bowl. If you have room in your stomach, adding extra rice is also recommended. It was a delicious meal.

I visited during lunchtime and the place was packed, with a line of about 10 people. First, let's talk about the soup. This special dish combines the unique fish-based Tantanmen from Rokumitei with the rich and powerful tonkotsu broth from the original Hakata Issouka, creating a delicious harmony. The special sesame sauce from Rokumitei, along with the flavorful fish powder made from bonito and jaw, adds depth to the dish. It's a well-balanced and innovative Tantanmen experience. The combination of seafood, sesame, and concentrated tonkotsu umami, with a punchy flavor, is complemented by komatsuna greens, shoulder loin chashu (4 slices), minced chashu mixed with sweet soy sauce, and white negi as toppings. The noodles are a special order from Keiji Noodle Factory, made with egg and twisted, ensuring they hold up well against the rich and powerful soup. They have a great wheat flavor, egg aroma, and a firm and chewy texture. This "Foamy Fish and Seafood Tantanmen" is available until 2/28! I'm looking forward to their next collaboration dish.
