This place is really hidden away in a quiet spot, but the atmosphere is great and it's always empty (sorry, restaurant staff!). I wonder if not many people know about it yet...? It can be used as a hidden gem! Anyway, you must try the "Warai Yaki" here!! It's not an exaggeration to say that there's no point in coming here if you don't try it. My 70-year-old mother came in alone one time and tried the regular okonomiyaki, saying "the taste is normal and it's expensive, I won't come back again!" But when I brought her back to try the "Warai Yaki" and "Kyoto Tempura Okonomiyaki," she said "Delicious! If you hadn't told me about this, I would never come back here!" Of course, the highlight here is the "Warai"! Why come here if you're not going to try the "Warai Yaki"?! Anyway, without saying anything else, start with the "Warai Yaki," please. My husband goes for the "Kyoto Tempura Okonomiyaki." He pours the mayo generously on top and enjoys it. The amount of tempura is really piled high. Tempura and mayo are the best. I personally like to sprinkle the provided "red pepper" on top and enjoy it. My high school daughter's favorite is the "Salt Yakisoba." Our family loves it too, so we always order the large portion. At the Saiinji store, you can get a lunch set with yakisoba (okonomi), rice, and miso soup for 680 yen, but the salt yakisoba is a bit more expensive. Still, she insists on the salt yakisoba. (Everyone, the regular yakisoba is good too, but please try the salt yakisoba as well. - by daughter) They also have a wide variety of drinks and desserts here! My mother, daughter, and granddaughter went here and enjoyed themselves even after eating. The Onohara store in Minoh doesn't have as many drink options, so I recommend the Saiinji store for girls. However, the other day, I ordered a side dish because it was cheap, and the "Seseri Ponzu" was delicious!! But the "German Potato Mentai (forgot the name...)" was... to be clear, a disappointment... There are some points that I would like to see improved, but I still think the "Warai Yaki" alone is worth it! (I want it to always be empty like this, but... it would be a problem if it went out of business, so I'll share it.) I love the view, so I answered a survey at the Onohara store in Minoh the other day and guess what!! I received a 3,000 yen meal voucher! I was so happy!! By answering the survey, you have a chance to win a meal voucher sent to 10 people every month. First, try the "Warai Yaki"!
