Wednesday at 7:00 pm. We made a reservation for 4 people and visited the restaurant. We sat in a raised tatami area with a low table. We were told not to touch the table because it could easily tip over. The toilet was Japanese-style. The restaurant typically only takes one reservation per day for a group of 4, and it seems like only selected regular customers can make reservations. There are various rules, but they may vary depending on the mood of the organizer. When I visited, the rule was to only bring wine and soft drinks. Wine can be purchased at a nearby liquor store for a discounted price. (I mistakenly brought beer and sour drinks, which I couldn't consume and had to take back home.) There is a 3,000 yen fine for breaking a glass. One of the guests couldn't drink wine at all, and it was awkward as he was repeatedly told, "This is a place for wine drinkers." If a woman asks, bottled beer can be served. The "Chef's Choice Course" for 9,000 yen included Ebisu bottled beer, white wine, red wine, dried tofu, a dish with a unique spice flavor, salted potato and egg, grilled pork harami skewers, fried food, spicy noodles, and numbing spicy rice with numbing oil. The owner engages in conversation with the female guests, so it's not a place for rowdy groups. It's natural to interact with the owner since it's a one reservation per day policy. The owner is skilled at handling everything alone, and if you get along well, it's a good place to visit. The food was delicious, and the owner even customized a dish for me based on my preference for numbing flavors. However, I was not aware of the rules and atmosphere beforehand, so as someone with social anxiety, I found the experience quite tiring. The total bill was 9,000 yen, which included drinks, but I'm not sure if that was the standard price or just for that day. Thank you for the meal!
