On 7/14 (Fri), I visited Osaka for sightseeing. I went to Dotonbori, which was quite lively even on a weekday afternoon. One of the places I wanted to try was a steak sushi restaurant. They cooked the meat after I ordered, placed it on rice, made it into sushi, then finished by searing it with a burner. When I tried to pick up the plate, the staff touched it and found it was still hot, so they kindly brought it to my table. I appreciated this thoughtful gesture. I thought about savoring it slowly with two bites, but ended up taking a big bite after putting some wasabi on it. The meat was tender with just a little fat. It might be from the searing with the burner. I left half of the wasabi, but ended up eating it all at the end. It really clears your sinuses. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely come back again.

There was a visit to a prop shop, but before that, let's have lunch! The shop had a lively atmosphere with decorations like cows and Spider-Man. It seemed like a place that foreigners would enjoy. The hamburger for lunch looked delicious, so I also ordered one with Kobe beef and added extra red meat. The meat was partially cooked first. The garlic soy sauce condiment went well with the light meat. The hamburger had onion sauce and was also delicious! The freshly cooked rice was very satisfying. It was a delicious lunch. Having lunch with a customer in Dotonbori! I was craving beef stew, but the restaurant was closed. I was really in the mood for beef stew (laughs). Oh! I found a sign for Kobe beef! They have beef stew! It's a restaurant from the Yoshikichi group that I've been to in Motomachi and Nipponbashi before. Their service is excellent as always. The food was delicious!

When I guided my acquaintance in Tokyo, we stopped by this shop. It specializes in Kobe beef, and we had Kobe beef sushi and Kobe beef ramen while standing at the counter. The sushi had a slightly spicy soy sauce topping. The meat itself was delicious, so I think it would be even better with simpler seasoning. The ramen was more like somen noodles with a sauce on top, so it didn't feel like traditional ramen. As a new experience, it was tasty. It was half price that day, so it was cheap, but I wouldn't eat it at the regular price.

I ate to my heart's content, feeling like my stomach was about to burst, but I couldn't resist ordering just one piece of sushi on my way out! It cost exactly 800 yen! Even though I only ordered one piece, the staff treated me very kindly. It was definitely delicious. The staff even told me to chew at least 10 times before swallowing! The sushi was so tasty that I almost swallowed it right away. When I tried to take a photo, the staff even helped me with the setup and lighting. We had a fun and relaxing time in the end. I can't wait to go back next time with an empty stomach and eat a lot! 😊

I suddenly felt like eating teppanyaki, so I visited a teppanyaki restaurant that was open on New Year's Day. The chef who welcomed us was friendly and we had a fun dinner. The quality of the meat, Kobe beef, was excellent as expected. However, some items were sold out due to it being New Year's Day, which was disappointing. They have many chain stores in Osaka as well, as Kobe is their main base, so it might be a good choice for a quick Kobe beef meal.

I went to a restaurant called WanoMiya in the Dotonbori shopping street with a friend from Kanto who wanted to eat Kobe beef. We ordered Kobe beef premium sirloin, Kobe beef special rare cut red meat, and a set menu (rice, salad, soup, grilled vegetables) which was free during lunchtime (usually 800 yen). We also enjoyed beer, red wine, and spent a little over 15,000 yen per person. The chef presented the meat to us and even placed the Kobe beef contest trophy in the background for a nice photo. The meat was delicious and cooked right in front of us on the teppan. The restaurant had mostly foreign customers and also sold Kobe beef for takeout. I wish the atmosphere was a bit more calm, but the meat was tasty. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited Kobe Beef Konami, a teppanyaki restaurant in Osaka! One of the recommended dishes is the meat sushi! The beef, of course, is Kobe beef and the steak was delicious, but it was even better when made into sushi! The steak's oil was sweet and not heavy!
