I started with the cafe latte that arrived first, quenching my thirst while waiting for the burger. Ordering and payment were done at the cash register when entering, and the food was served at the table, with self-service for water. In less than 10 minutes, the cheeseburger was served. The staff explained how to eat the burger when it was served. The sauce dripped onto the buns, making it look delicious. The patty was soft but not too fluffy. The beef flavor was just right. The demi-glace sauce had a good balance of acidity and sweetness, bringing out the umami flavor. The buns were not too hard, playing a good supporting role. The only downside was that the tomato was ice-cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge, which ruined the taste of the freshly cooked patty. Also, the plastic cup for water had a bad smell because it was not dried properly. This kind of oversight offset the goodness of the burger. It's a shame because the value for money is high. I visited after 2 pm, which was late for lunch, but there were many moms gathering, and the restaurant was almost full. The interior was bright and stylish, with a variety of menu options including plate lunches and cafe items, making it a convenient choice. Calm days on the west side of Heiwado in Tamakushi, Ibaraki City. I visited at 2 PM because it was crowded when I passed by during lunchtime before. Even on days off, it's calm in the late afternoon. The windows are wide, bright, and open. They also offer morning sets and takeout. The menu includes dishes like loco moco, pancakes, and burgers, with Hawaiian-themed decor and photos. I ordered the Cheeseburger for 715 yen, Potato Set for an additional 220 yen, and Drink Set for an extra 330 yen, totaling 1265 yen. I paid in advance at the counter using PayPay. The burger arrived in about 3 minutes. It was huge! Stacked vertically! And the portion of fries was large. It's like a McDonald's large size, is this the Hawaiian size? The fries were crispy and delicious. The burger was juicy and tasty with the saltiness of the cheese and the acidity of the tomato slices. I struggled a bit on how to eat it but eventually enjoyed it thoroughly. The only downside was the lemonade soda, which could have used more carbonation and lemon slices for a better presentation. Overall, I was very satisfied and full with the burger and fries. I regret not ordering coffee, as it smelled great when served to another customer later. I should have gone for the coffee.
