I always go to izakayas that are "drink a lot" type with my important companion, and this time we decided to go to a place where we can enjoy delicious meat! The restaurant has a chic and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing time. We ordered the chef's special course and toasted with beer as usual! We compared the sirloin and fillet, adjusting the doneness to our liking, and they were both incredibly juicy. The meat I had was rare inside and had the perfect color on the outside. While I don't have a preference for branded beef, I have to say that Japanese beef is the best. I was very satisfied with the high-quality meat and enjoyed it immensely. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's delicious, but when it's delicious, it's worth paying a little more, right? This restaurant offers satisfying dishes in terms of quality. The service was impeccable, and I won't hesitate to return in the future. I'll definitely bring my son with me next time!

Last month when I went to Osaka, I had dinner at a teppanyaki restaurant called Suteki wa Usu Juju. My friend and I love teppanyaki, so we decided to try this place after discussing it. We made a reservation in advance, which turned out to be a good idea. After having a drink at the hotel lounge, we headed to the restaurant. Located west of Dotonbori and Midosuji, the restaurant had a small entrance in a nondescript building. We went downstairs to find a counter with about 10-12 seats. We ordered the special Juju course for 13,000 yen, which included a variety of dishes. The meal started with grilled vegetables and homemade dressings, followed by a delicious salad with different types of vegetables. We also enjoyed tuna tataki, live prawns, and a generous portion of sirloin steak. The meat was cooked to perfection and served with various condiments. The highlight was the garlic rice, which was mixed with garlic chips and garlic soy sauce. We ended the meal with fruit and sorbet, and were pleasantly surprised to receive a glasses cleaner as a gift. The young chef and attentive staff made the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful and satisfying meal.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered the recommended premium black wagyu beef course, and we were extremely satisfied! It was my husband's milestone birthday, and since he is very particular about restaurants, I spent a lot of time researching and it was worth it. The restaurant is located in the bustling district of Namba, in a building near Dotonbori on the B1 floor. The appetizer was beef tataki, served with ponzu sauce for a refreshing taste. The salad had two types of dressing, and I preferred the light and tangy Japanese-style dressing. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The prawns were handpicked by the chef from a tank at the back, and they were cooked with care. The meat was A5 grade black wagyu beef! We had both the sirloin and fillet, and they were cooked to perfection. The chef would slice and cook them little by little, so we could request our preferred doneness each time. It was enjoyable to hear about the chef's knowledge and skills. There were no flashy performances like at other teppanyaki restaurants, but with the expertise of the veteran chef and high-quality meat, we didn't feel the need for it. Ordering the premium course was definitely worth it! The garlic chips served with the meat were amazing – crispy slices of fresh garlic cooked in butter. They were so delicious, I could have eaten them endlessly. We were then served garlic rice and bread. The garlic rice was delightful, but I highly recommend trying the bread too! The butter rolls, steamed and baked on the teppan, had a crispy surface and melted butter inside – it was irresistible! For dessert, since we had mentioned it was a birthday, they added a message plate. We debated getting a decoration cake, but we wanted to focus on the meat, so we opted for fruits and sorbet. It was still very satisfying. It would have been even better if coffee was included. Also, the tableware was specially made for this restaurant, showing attention to detail. It may not be very child-friendly, but I would definitely consider coming back for another special occasion.

I was taken out for White Day as a return gift and it was great! Fruit champagne with plenty of ripe fruits, both visually appealing and delicious. The salad is served without dressing, with a choice of Japanese or Western dressing. Grilled vegetables, foie gras with grated ponzu sauce, and live prawns cooked on the hot plate were all amazing. I chose the fillet steak which was incredibly tender and flavorful, served with three different seasonings. The meal ended with garlic rice and a cute ladybug cake dessert for White Day. They even took a cheki photo for us as a souvenir. The service and teppanyaki performance were also excellent.

I revisited the restaurant and this time I brought two colleagues with me, who I had previously been with. I felt more relaxed this time compared to last time, and I enjoyed myself. The master explained various things to us while we enjoyed delicious drinks and food. You can choose between fillet or sirloin steak, which is cut into bite-sized pieces and served in three portions so you can enjoy it at your own pace without feeling overwhelmed. It was a bit of a luxurious experience, so give it a try! I used this restaurant for entertaining clients. I was unsure where to go, but after making a reservation, we were able to enter at the perfect timing and had the master all to ourselves serving us the dishes. We decided to order the 30,000 yen course, and the ingredients were of very high quality. Both the seafood and meat were delicious. We even had some foie gras cooked for us as an extra, making it a truly luxurious experience. I think my guests were also satisfied. When I visit Osaka again, I will definitely consider going there for another luxurious experience. The restaurant is located underground, and although I didn't feel any resistance entering, it might be a bit difficult if it's crowded with customers.

Last night I had sushi, so tonight I decided to have some meat. After narrowing down the options on Tabelog, I ended up at "Steakhouse Sugu." The deciding factor was the feeling that I could enjoy a quiet meal here even if I was dining alone. The restaurant is located underground, with a grand door that is always open, displaying the logo of the restaurant. Inside, there are about 12-13 seats at the counter, with soft lighting creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I opted for the "Sugu Recommended Course," which included beef tataki, seasonal grilled vegetables, a salad with fifteen types of vegetables, a live prawn, premium black wagyu beef, garlic rice, and dessert - a total of 7 items. The chef, who appeared to be in his prime, skillfully arranged the seasonal grilled vegetables on the hot plate, creating a dazzling and enchanting sight. As I sipped on my beer and enjoyed the beef tataki, I eagerly anticipated the arrival of the live prawn. The prawn, skillfully prepared by the chef, had a firm texture and a delicious taste. The highlight of the meal was the main course - the beef. I couldn't decide between sirloin and tenderloin, but the manager kindly suggested having both in a half portion. Both cuts of beef were expertly cooked and had a rich, succulent flavor. The garlic rice, with thinly sliced shiitake mushrooms, added an extra depth of flavor to the meal. The course ended with dessert, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the delicious food. The seasoned veteran chef, with a warm smile and no unnecessary chatter, created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere at this steakhouse. It felt like dining at a cozy izakaya, where you could enjoy a delicious meal without any pretense.

The hotel concierge recommended the best steak in Namba, which I tried and found to be true. Located along Dotonbori, just a short walk from Namba Station exit 25, it's a convenient spot. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a limited number of seats at the counter. The chef cooks the steak right in front of you with a simple seasoning of salt, ponzu sauce, or garlic soy sauce. The quality of the meat is top-notch, with the sirloin melting in your mouth and the tenderloin being moist and flavorful. The price is around 10,000 yen for a course, but considering the quality of the meat, it's a great value. The garlic rice served at the end is also delicious. I went back with my mother and enjoyed the seasonal course with sautéed turban shell. I also tried the steak lunch, which was satisfying with upgraded beef for 5,500 yen. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its great food and service.

In the basement of a building in Dotonbori, there is a restaurant called Steak House Suzu that just opened in March this year. A chef with 30 years of experience carefully grills the highest quality black Wagyu beef on a large iron plate right in front of you. There is also a female chef, so women can feel comfortable going there. The black Wagyu beef melts in your mouth as soon as you taste it, it's so delicious! When I visited, the meat was Saga beef. They select good quality meat depending on the season. My recommended way to eat it is to enjoy it with garlic grilled crispy on the iron plate! The vegetables are also carefully selected by the chef and are seasonal. The dressing used in the salad is also homemade and really delicious. They also offer high-quality seafood and seasonal items. This time it was eel. Eating eel grilled on the iron plate was a first for me, and it was amazing! Finally, they carefully grilled garlic rice on the iron plate. Every step felt like watching a performance, making the dining experience enjoyable and delicious. There are 13 counter seats, and private reservations are also accepted. It was a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The chefs and staff were very kind and friendly. I would like to visit again for special occasions like anniversaries, dates, or as a treat for myself.

I visited just before the last order, and I was very satisfied with the polite service I received. The garlic chips were especially delicious, so much so that I would come back just for them. The teppanyaki chef cooked efficiently and this restaurant is one of the most comfortable places I have visited, ranking in the top 3 of all the places I have been to. You might be worried about the smell of garlic, but don't worry! You can get gummies or gum to get rid of the smell before leaving the restaurant. I will be coming back with friends next time, so thank you in advance!

Excerpt from a gourmet note. Today, I visited a hidden steakhouse near Dotonbori. "Steakhouse Sussu" has a lounge-like entrance with a big impressive door. The interior is simple, with shiny iron plates and only counter seats in a half-circle. It would be nice to have a couple's seat 😉 We tried the recommended course with black wagyu beef and prawns. Can't wait! Started with a beer. Feeling hungry is tough! The salad and beef tataki were okay. Cooking prawns on the iron plate was a nice sight. The fresh prawns turned red gradually and smelled delicious. The beef steak was cooked just on the surface, rare inside, with a tempting aroma. The meat was very tender and disappeared quickly... a bit small portion though. Chose garlic rice over bread without hesitation. The garlic was crispy and fragrant when mixed with the rice. The taste was decent, but the rice was a bit soft. Ended with sherbet for a refreshing touch. Enjoyed it slowly. Overall, understood the quality of the ingredients. It's a steakhouse where you savor small portions. Would like to try a different course if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch special menu: Selected black wagyu beef for 5000 yen. The meat comes with a colorful salad (homemade dressing, choice of sweet or spicy), bread or rice, miso soup, and pickles that are fresh and delicious. I chose to add grilled vegetables and garlic rice. The garlic chips here are amazing, unlike any I've had before. The butter and thinly sliced garlic create a delicious aroma as they crisp up. I can't wait to dig in! The meat is top quality and melts in your mouth, so I savor it slowly. Even the regular meat here is satisfying, but the lunch special price is a great deal. I will definitely come back for dinner. Thank you for always providing a wonderful experience.

My father, a 70-year-old man, his two female friends of the same age, myself (36 years old), and a colleague from work (40 years old) went to this restaurant. The place had a cozy atmosphere with around 15 seats at the counter. It felt like a classic steakhouse with a large teppan grill in front of the customers. We ordered the open course which included meat, shrimp, garlic rice, and other dishes, costing around 10,000 yen per person. The meal started with a salad followed by grilled vegetables, konjac, and shrimp served gradually as we enjoyed our food. The chef paid attention to the elderly gentleman's eating pace and even accommodated his request for shochu with kabosu, which was not on the menu. The steak was incredibly delicious, tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked by the skilled chef. The highlight was the garlic chips made by the chef in a unique and delicious way. The meal ended with garlic rice, miso soup, and dessert. It was a luxurious dining experience that made us appreciate the true essence of a steak. Everyone in our group praised the quality of the food and the value for money. I look forward to bringing my wife here next time to make her happy. She will surely enjoy it.

I went out with friends for our first meal of the new year, and we decided to go all out and treat ourselves. We found a lively spot near Namba Station, but once we went underground, we discovered a cozy restaurant with a calm atmosphere. We decided to splurge on the special standard course, which included the sirloin steak. We started with a salad that came with two types of dressing, both of which were rich and flavorful. Next, we enjoyed grilled konjac, eringi mushrooms, and baby cabbage, seasoned with garlic soy sauce, ponzu, and salt and pepper, before moving on to the main event - the sirloin steak. I was surprised to see that the sirloin was pink, not red. The chef, with 40 years of experience, cooked the steak perfectly, serving it in three slices at a time. It was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth, with an incredible sweetness to it. Finally, we savored the delicious bread that others had raved about, and the chef even shared a tip on how to recreate it at home in a frying pan. It was a rare indulgence that I would love to experience again.
