I happened to see a sushi restaurant from the car on the way from Sapporo city to New Chitose Airport. I went there for the first time. It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the plates no longer rotate. You order using a touch panel. The salmon, yellowtail, and squid sushi were all delicious, especially the three-piece assortment.

I visited my favorite conveyor belt sushi restaurant Triton in Hokkaido. Due to the lunchtime rush during summer vacation, it took 2 hours to be seated. Please note that this location has few private booth seats, so it may take time for groups of 2 or more. Today's orders included medium fatty tuna, chef's recommended three-roll assortment (fresh salmon, spear squid, live yellowtail), salmon roe, live sweet shrimp, Pacific saury, and tuna and pickled radish roll. The live sweet shrimp had a firm texture and a seasonal taste. The Pacific saury was exceptionally delicious today! The tuna and pickled radish roll didn't have the usual fattiness of tuna, but the combination with finely sliced pickled radish had a good crunch and was tasty. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The sushi in Tokyo is definitely different from Triton. As a resident, I envy being able to eat sushi of this quality at this price! Seasonal toppings are truly delicious! I think it's tastier in winter than in summer... The sardines in Hokkaido are highly recommended, with no fishy smell.

The staff at the popular revolving sushi restaurant Triton in Hokkaido were very efficient, quickly cleaning up after customers and preparing for the next ones. The sushi was delicious, especially the scallops which were very fresh and tasty. We also ordered some melon, which was sweet and my son loved it and wanted more.

I am in Sapporo for a certain reason. On a Wednesday, I was with a woman who spoke terrible Japanese. She seemed quite young and asked me where I wanted to eat. We ended up at a sushi restaurant called "Kaiten Sushi." We had to wait until 6 PM before we could be seated. I only ate a few pieces of sushi, which were from Russia. The others at the table seemed to enjoy their meal, but I wasn't convinced by the appearance. Overall, it was not a satisfying experience for me.

The sushi toppings are generously sized and all really delicious. Even when you order a lot, it only costs around 3000 yen per person, making it extremely cost-effective. It's a chain restaurant, but it's hard to find such fresh toppings at this price in Tokyo. Truly Hokkaido. Highly recommended for those who want to eat delicious sushi to their heart's content at a great price.

I forgot to take a photo at Triton Kiyota store, but everything I ate was good. Personally, the fried squid legs were crispy and chewy, the best in conveyor belt sushi! The extremely fresh salmon was especially delicious. I recommend the seafood bomb!

I arrived alone around 2 PM on Tuesday and had to wait for about 5 groups ahead of me. There were tourists as well as local couples and families, and I was impressed by how busy it was even at this time. The seafood here surpasses that of a major conveyor belt sushi chain in Kansai! The prices were not too high either, costing around 3500 yen for one person without drinks. I think it's better in terms of cost and taste compared to eating at a mediocre morning market in Hokkaido. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant during my trip to Hokkaido. We arrived on a Friday afternoon with four people and had to wait for 30 minutes as it was quite popular. The menu had a variety of Hokkaido specialties and classic dishes, all of which were delicious. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch and unlike anything I could find in Tokyo. The service was excellent, with attentive and polite staff. I would love to visit again soon.

After visiting the Sapporo Beer Museum, we headed to Hokkaido Ballpark F Village. It's a place I often see on TV! Even though there wasn't a game, the stadium was full of tourists, and it was quite impressive. Next, we're heading to our hotel in Hakodate. It takes about 4 and a half hours by car from Sapporo to Hakodate, so thank you to the driver! Now, it's time for a quick meal. We went to the famous "Kaiten Sushi Triton" in Hokkaido. I've actually been to their Tokyo branch before. It's cold in Hokkaido! Spring in Hokkaido is so cold. Despite the odd timing, there was a wait of about 8 groups, maybe 20 minutes. It seems to be quite popular. The staff were energetic and friendly. There was a lively atmosphere. You order through a touch panel. Keep ordering! The draft beer was delicious and cold! The sushi was amazing. Everything just melts in your mouth. The salmon, tuna, yellowtail - everything was so fatty and delicious. It's definitely different when you eat it in Hokkaido.

Beyond the horizon... I had a late lunch at Triton. It was around 14:00 and there was a wait of about 30 groups, but I decided to wait as well. I aimed for a seat at the counter, thinking the turnover might be faster. The staff were efficient in clearing tables, guiding customers, and the person serving us was friendly and prompt in their greetings. Now, time to eat! I had scallops, boiled surf clam, herring, marinated mackerel, crab miso, seafood dynamite, conger eel, crab innards, an eel roll, and tuna. The scallops were especially delicious! And the conger eel and crab innards were also great! The battleship sushi rolls were quite filling. The bill came to a total of 3333 yen. Thank you for the meal!

Around 12:30 in the afternoon, I arrived at the parking lot prepared to wait. I was able to park my car, but the restaurant was full. There were 7 groups waiting, with an estimated wait time of 1 hour. Maybe it's not as bad as I thought? At this restaurant, waiting is the norm, so if you don't want to wait, you should come early in the morning! Some guy was getting angry at the staff - seriously, is he stupid? It's so rude, and it's making everyone uncomfortable! Everyone is here because they want to eat something delicious, right? The manners here are terrible! Especially coming at a busy time without any consideration! Oh, but the most important part - the sushi! The sushi! Unfortunately, they only have spear squid instead of squid fin, but I'll make do with spear squid. The most popular item today is the medium fatty tuna! It's served on a battleship sushi, and they really load it up with the medium fatty tuna! A little bit of soy sauce on top, and then I take a bite - mmm, mmm! I find myself nodding my head in agreement. Why do people nod when they eat something delicious? If I had to guess, they're probably thinking, "Mmm, mmm, this is it, no mistakes!" And then they smile. It's like they're confirming, "Yep, it's really delicious," and they patiently wait for the next dish. Next up, the seared salmon with mayo! I'm sorry I don't have a photo. They sear the salmon, drizzle mayo on top, and sprinkle some green onions on the sushi. The salmon is so big that even a man can't fit it in one bite - Triton's salmon is huge! I like raw salmon, but after trying the seared fatty salmon, it was amazing! My mouth was so happy. Right now they only have regular seared salmon, so I ask for mayo, but if they have seared fatty salmon, definitely go for it! You won't be disappointed! I also recommend the fatty yellowtail. The fattiness is just amazing. They've also started offering a two-tiered scallop dish. Personally, I don't quite agree with the pricing of abalone and live scallop being the same, but I guess it's because of rising costs, right? Anyway, thank you for the meal, I'll be back again!

I arrived 20 minutes before opening. There were several groups already lined up. By opening time, there was a long line inside and outside. I'm glad I got in on the first round. The quality was surprising and didn't seem like typical conveyor belt sushi. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the rice was really good. Even the kids said they don't want to go to other sushi places anymore. Tuna, sea bream, whelk, herring, conger eel, raw salmon, etc. I forgot to take photos because I was too busy eating.

On February 19, 2023, at 4:00 PM, on my way back from a second visit to Noboribetsu Onsen, I got a flat tire due to a big pothole while driving on National Route 276. I called JAF for help and the police helped with traffic control. The first car shop quoted me 30,000 yen, but thanks to the kind tow truck driver, I was referred to a used tire shop in Chitose where I was able to get the tow and tire replaced for under 10,000 yen. If only I had taken National Route 36, this wouldn't have happened... Anyway, feeling hungry, I decided to have sushi to lift my spirits! Even though it was already late, Triton was still busy with a 40-minute wait. But to my delight, they had locally sourced fresh mackerel and our family's favorite Nixon Roll. And of course, my beloved squid salad. Triton never fails to make me happy, whether celebrating good news or cheering me up after a setback. Triton is truly the best!

About 30 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Kitahiroshima Interchange. Should you head there right after arriving at the airport? Or should you stop by on your way back to the airport? This convenient and good store is recommended. When going to Sapporo Dome, there is a store near Gakuenmae, but it tends to be quite crowded, so the Kiyota store is recommended. Enjoy sushi from Rausu, Nemuro, and Shakotan at 11:00 in the morning! They must be delicious just by their names! Triton and Nemuro Hanamaru are also good options, but be careful not to order based solely on the name and forget about the prices! However, it is very satisfying!

The snow festival is being held for the first time in 3 years, so the town is full of tourists. But I want to eat sushi. I want to casually eat my favorite sushi. So, why not try a conveyor belt sushi restaurant? I chose Triton Kiyota branch because you need a car to get there, so I assumed there would be fewer tourists. It was a little after 3 pm on Saturday, but there were about 10 groups waiting. It took 30 minutes to get a seat. First, I tried the recommended blackthroat seaperch and it was so delicious with its fatty texture. Next, I ordered medium fatty tuna, lean tuna, and salmon one after another. When the fried squid legs that I had ordered earlier arrived, I took a little break. I seriously think that Triton's fried squid legs are more delicious than those of a typical izakaya. It would be perfect to pair them with a refreshing lemon sour or beer, but I'm driving today, so I resisted. Next, I had flying fish roe, cured mackerel, octopus legs, and egg sushi to finish. Ah, I'm so full, I can't eat anymore! Thank you for the meal!

I visited the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant Triton in Sapporo near Kitahiroshima Interchange. It was crowded during lunchtime on a weekday, but I only had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat. I ordered using a touch panel and enjoyed about 10 plates of sushi, all of which were thick and delicious. The best was the fresh sea urchin, which had a nice texture and was very tasty. They also had a show where they cut fish right in front of you. The scallop chowder had a rich broth and was delicious. Considering the quality, the prices were reasonable.

Visited Triton Kiyota branch in Sapporo in February, craving for conveyor belt sushi. Winter is the perfect time for "tachi" (fatty tuna) in Sapporo. The place was crowded, but we managed to get a seat after a 40-minute wait. We ordered the Rausu-produced Maguro "tachi" for 473 yen (tax included), which was delicious with a nice texture and umami flavor. We also tried the fresh squid with wasabi and squid with yuzu salt, both offering different but enjoyable tastes. Other highlights included seasonal ankimo gunkan, scallop miso soup, Miyagi-produced Kinu Saba, Hokkaido's Fukabori Bay scallop, premium raw salmon, octopus legs, and toro taku maki. The overall satisfaction was high, and we will definitely come back. The total cost was around 2,000 yen per person, making it a reasonable and delicious dining experience.

In the past, there were three major revolving sushi chains in Sapporo: Triton, Toppi, and Kaitenmaru. Now, Triton, Hanamaru, and Nagoyakatei are considered the top three. I visited Triton on a Sunday at 6 pm and surprisingly there was not much of a wait. I waited in my car for about 45 minutes before being seated. The sushi was delicious, and the prices seemed a bit cheaper compared to other places. Triton's popularity is still going strong after all these years.
