I love this place because I can smoke cigarettes. You pay first at the self-service counter and then get your drink. The food looks delicious, but I never had a chance to eat here because I always stop by after visiting the dentist. Today, I got permission to have a light hot dog. Light...? It's huge! It has curry-flavored cabbage inside and it's delicious, but the portion size is massive. The atmosphere feels like an old-fashioned establishment, casual and laid-back. I like it. I'll keep coming here while I'm going to the dentist.

The female staff was energetic and provided great customer service. The weekly special sandwich costs 500 yen including tax. The Tandoori chicken sandwich was delicious with plenty of curry-flavored chicken, eggs, tomatoes, and lettuce on warm bread. The yogurt potato fries were also very tasty. Overall, it was a great experience!

About 70-80% of the customers are smoking! (It's a smoking allowed place.) You order and pay at the register, it's like self-service. The toast plate costs 500 yen and includes half a buttered toast, salad, fried egg, ham, fruit yogurt (with honey), and a drink. Not bad. The fried egg is seasoned well with salt and pepper, and it tastes delicious with the salad! Having half a toast is also nice! The yogurt tastes like canned fruit, sweet and easy to eat with honey on top. The hot coffee was a bit sour. Thank you for the meal♡

I couldn't find any suitable place on the shopping street side, so I went under the JR tracks to the Keihan side. Walking towards the back of the Keihan Mall, I found a cafe bar that was open. I decided to go in, thinking this would be a good place to rest. The name of the place is "Giraffe Kyobashi Higashiguchi Store". Despite the strange Katakana name, it gives off a cafe bar vibe when written as "GIIRAFFE". Even though I had just eaten morning soba, I was drawn to the morning menu displayed outside. I ordered: - Pizza Toast (with drink) 480 yen - Drink size upgrade S→M +40 yen (drink was iced coffee) It was quite cheap! Although it doesn't compare to the various toppings included in Nagoya's morning menus, I thought it was still reasonably priced. First, I received the iced coffee and took a break at a table. After a while, the pizza toast arrived. It was a simple pizza toast with roast ham, green pepper, onion, and sliced cheese. It was delicious and felt like a second breakfast, making me forget that I had already eaten morning soba. I stayed for a little over an hour until just past 10 a.m. I wonder if this place became non-smoking in April... If not, I would definitely want to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

On my way back to Kyobashi Station with a stop at Pon-Kotsu Tarou, I couldn't resist stopping by Giraffe for a beer to finish off the night. I've always thought their beer was delicious. In the first week of October 2018, the company Tokuda Shouten Group operates many "Tokuda Saketen" stores in Kyobashi and in front of Osaka Station. Giraffe and Vanguard are some of the original stores in their expansion. During the day, they serve coffee and other drinks as a cafe, and at night, they turn into a bar. The convenient location near the station makes it easy to visit. The draft beer is delicious. I visited with two friends after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

On a day off, I started my morning by doing housework and then took a train to Osaka, transferring to Kyobashi station. With some time to spare, I decided to have breakfast somewhere nearby, so I visited this place near the station. I placed my belongings on a table near the entrance, ordered and paid at the cashier, and received the freshly baked bread and drink first before returning to my seat. The restaurant had a pub-like atmosphere with wood tones, and I enjoyed listening to Billy Joel's famous songs. The rest of the plate arrived, consisting of a morning plate with iced coffee for ¥460. Plate 1 had toast, plate 2 had ham and eggs, salad (cherry tomatoes, sunny lettuce), and a slice of banana. The eggs were slightly unevenly cooked and there was a lot of dressing, but overall it was convenient being close to the station. I was comforted by the nostalgic and cheerful background music and the smiles of the staff as I left the restaurant.

I received a giraffe sandwich as a souvenir before, and it was so delicious that I have been coming back to the store ever since. I ordered the egg sandwich this time and secured a seat first. I asked for the egg sandwich at the counter. Delicious! As expected, the egg sandwich here is delicious!
