"We went to a Korean restaurant called 'Aplow' in Fukuoka City, Minami-ku, Ohashi, as a family. The recommended dishes were Samgyupsal and Kopchanchongol, but since we had children with us, we skipped the Kopchanchongol and ordered Bulgogi instead. The Namul assortment had a slightly sweet seasoning, not too heavy on sesame oil or garlic. The complimentary oi kimchi was also slightly sweet. The white kimchi had a good chili pepper aroma and was delicious. The seafood jeon was lacking in seafood ingredients for its price (800 yen) and had a crispy texture but lacked chewiness. The Bulgogi had a strong sweetness in the seasoning, needing some ssamjang for balance. However, it was impressive that they provided a variety of vegetables, including perilla leaves. The meat quality was good. The Samgyupsal was cooked on a special stone, with thick slices of pork belly that were juicy and satisfying. It was enjoyable to wrap the meat with garlic warmed in oil and kimchi grilled on the stone. The abundant variety of vegetables for wrapping was a plus. The Korean salad was spicy but had a underlying sweetness. The stone pot bibimbap was also slightly sweet but decent. The tteokbokki and mandu soup had a strong sweetness. Overall impression: good meat quality but the seasoning was too sweet for my taste. However, since many restaurants serving Kopchanchongol tend to have sweet seasoning, this restaurant's meat quality may make up for it. For reference, the total cost for a family of five was around 12,000 yen. It was a long weekend, so the restaurant was naturally full. My family, who enjoys eating vegetables wrapped in Korean style, was very satisfied, so it was not a bad restaurant."

It was truly like a small Korea. Even though they all were called red sauce, there were many different types and each had a different taste which was surprising. They mentioned to consult them for a trip to Korea. It was truly a cross-cultural communication.

All the dishes were delicious. The level of spiciness and portion size were just right. I want to go back to try a different menu.

Yesterday, I had Samgyetang and it was so good that I decided to visit again today. This time, I ordered Samgyupsal with a friend. Apparently, on days with a 3 in them, you can get free refills of Samgyupsal meat. The thick pork belly slices were grilled by the staff and then cut into smaller pieces with scissors. All we had to do was eat and enjoy. I want to come back to try other menu items as well!

I had always wished that Ohashi's Apple Mo would offer lunch, and before I knew it, they had started serving lunch. On such a cold day, I wanted something to warm me up. The restaurant is filled with Korean vibes, with Korean idol DVDs playing. The atmosphere inside is like this. Ringo ordered the Stone Pot Bibimbap set for 880 yen. Suika ordered the Yukgaejang set for 780 yen. I ordered the Sundubu set for 680 yen. After finishing our meal, we felt so warm that we didn't even feel the cold outside.

"Just like its name 'Little Korea', once you step inside, the tables and decor make you feel like you're in Korea! The staff even speak Korean! We started with Korean beer and enjoyed dishes like chijimi, Korean seaweed rolls, and samgyupsal. The samgyupsal came with vegetables to wrap it in, including sesame leaves which was a nice touch. Wrapping the meat in lettuce with green onions, sesame leaves, and sweet and savory sauce was delicious. The beer kept flowing and we felt like we were on a trip to Korea. We had a great time chatting and enjoying delicious food together."

I went on a weekday, not on the weekend, and it was quite crowded near the station, so there was a considerable wait time. It seems to be quite popular. This time, I ordered the course menu. There weren't too many dishes, so I was a bit careless and also ordered the beef tripe sashimi from a separate menu... It was a lot of food when it arrived, much more than expected. The portion was not proportional to the price, it was a huge amount! Personally, I felt like it needed a bit more spiciness, but the taste was quite delicious. You can add a small fee to the regular all-you-can-drink menu to make the makgeolli (Korean rice wine) all-you-can-drink, which is very convenient. There are quite a few types of makgeolli to choose from, so it's fun to compare and taste them. The music in the restaurant is all Korean songs, and the menu written on the walls is in Hangul (I can't read it, so I don't even know if it's the menu). The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Korea. The course menu also allows you to choose from 3 types of hot pots, so you won't get bored.

I suddenly felt like eating Korean food, so I searched for a restaurant on Tabelog and decided on this place. The restaurant had several Korean staff, menus written in Korean on the walls, photos of Korean celebrities, and Korean music playing, giving it a very authentic Korean vibe. There were various menu options, but I decided to order a course meal to try a variety of dishes. This Korean pub was the most authentic I've been to, and there were some dishes that I tried for the first time. Among them, I had never heard of Samgyupsal before. Simply put, it's "grilled pork belly." Korean BBQ is usually eaten with vegetables, so it feels lighter on the stomach compared to regular BBQ. However, unfortunately, I missed the timing to eat the Samgyupsal, and it ended up overcooked, making the meat dry and tough. The staff cooked it in front of us, and I should have paid more attention instead of taking photos. If I have the chance to eat Samgyupsal again, I will make an effort to eat it at the right timing. Overall, the restaurant serves delicious Korean food, so I would definitely visit again when I crave Korean cuisine.

Tonight, I attended a banquet at FMYC in Oodake. The venue was a restaurant called Apro in Oohashi, known for its Korean cuisine. The atmosphere inside was lively, filled with young ladies and groups of men. Oohashi is a popular area for university students, so there are many affordable restaurants with high-quality food. The main dish we had was Kopchang Chungol, which had a sweet taste followed by a spicy kick, typical of Korean flavors. The course included all-you-can-drink for 2,980 yen.

I suddenly felt like eating Korean food, so I went to a Korean restaurant. The interior was filled with photos of Korean idols, creating a fun atmosphere. The staff greeted us in Korean, adding to the ambiance. The cute female staff members were friendly, and we had a great time. I ordered a dish called Samgyupsal, which I wrapped in leaves with kimchi and it was quite filling. We also ordered a hot pot which had just the right level of spiciness. They were running a special promotion on Jinro beer, and I ended up drinking quite a few. They also host K-pop events, which I am interested in attending. I would definitely like to go back.

The other day, I went to this restaurant with a friend after a live performance by a certain group. My friend and I were exploring the area around Ohashi, and we were quite interested in this restaurant. When we entered, it was around 10:30 pm, but the place was bustling with energy. The host seemed to be Korean, and there was a bit of confusion when we mentioned our reservation name, but another staff member quickly noticed and showed us to our table. The menu was extensive and everything looked delicious! It had a surprisingly izakaya-like vibe. We ordered the samgyeopsal, seafood pancake, and assorted namul. The namul portion was satisfying even though it was meant for one person. The pancake was chewy and tasty! The samgyeopsal was cooked by the staff while chatting with us, making the wait enjoyable. The taste was delicious! The condiments to wrap with the meat were also great! I recommend trying the mango beer. The appetizer that came out first was refreshing and delicious! I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again! Next time, I want to try the hot pot!

Apro Ohashi store has been open for 4 years. When I heard that they were offering Korean language classes, I started going there. It's just a few minutes' walk from Ohashi station. It truly feels like a "little Korea". This time, I went with 4 friends. The appetizer included slices of radish (probably pickled radish), prosciutto, cucumber, kimchi, okra, and more to wrap and eat. It was amazing! A variety of colorful dishes are served on plates, and you wrap them in radish and dip them in sauce to eat. The sauce was delicious, with a scent of sesame oil. We ordered copchangjongol, chapchae, potato and cheese jeon, avocado kimchi, tteokbokki, hotteok with ice cream, and makgeolli (pear) in a bottle. We ate until we were full. The avocado kimchi, as the name suggests, is avocado and kimchi eaten together, and it goes really well together. The spiciness of the kimchi is milder. Apro's kimchi is delicious! It's authentic kimchi from "Yokoyama Shouten", a kimchi shop in Chiyoya and Nishijin. I believe you can also buy it to take home. The staff includes Korean employees and Korean is spoken in the restaurant. It truly feels like a "little Korea".

Have you ever tried authentic Korean cuisine? You can enjoy it in Fukuoka without even going to Korea! I was taken to a Korean restaurant near Ohashi Station by a friend. The most surprising thing was that the staff at the restaurant were Korean! Of course, they spoke fluent Japanese, but they also chatted in Korean among themselves and the music playing in the restaurant was in Korean. It was really overwhelming. The food was delicious! It was authentic Korean cuisine. The chicken was so crispy and tasty! And even the liver sashimi, which I usually don't like, was fresh and not smelly! If it's liver sashimi from this restaurant, I can eat it! I also noticed that they have Korean language classes in the restroom.
