I went to a trendy café in the competitive area of Nakazaki-cho in Osaka, where the sweets and drinks have been renewed! It might surprise first-time visitors as the exterior looks like a normal apartment building, but once you open the door on the second floor, you enter a completely white, Instagrammable café! No matter where you sit inside, you can take cute photos! I ordered the newly renovated black sesame latte, caramel latte, and strawberry rare cheesecake. They all look amazing! I visited the cafe on a hot summer weekend to avoid the crowds and went at a slightly earlier time. I tried the Strawberry Millefeuille, which has layers of pastry at the bottom and top with plenty of cream sandwiched in the middle. The Black Sesame Latte had a strong black sesame flavor with a hint of sweetness, topped with whipped cream that added a touch of saltiness. I also had the Fromage, a souffle-type cheesecake made with French cream cheese "kiri," which was rich but had a gentle taste. The Caramel Latte was not as sweet as expected, pairing well with the cakes. On Sundays, you can order a set of latte and cake to enjoy in the store. The price for one set is 1300 yen (tax included). The cafe seemed to have a time limit for each customer, as I was reminded 10 minutes before my time was up. The clientele appeared to be mostly in their 20s.

The sweets were disappointing, but the drinks were delicious. I ordered a sesame latte! It seems like they have recently transformed into a Korean-style cafe and renovated! I haven't been there after the renovation, so I can't say much, but my impression before the renovation wasn't great!

I found a photo of black sesame latte on SNS and had been wanting to try it, so I went to Speake Cafe. Although it said on Instagram that they open at 12:00 on weekends, the sign at the cafe said they open at 13:00. When I peeked inside at 12:45, there were already 2-3 groups of customers. I was prepared to wait in line, but I was able to go in without waiting. I ordered the black sesame latte and cheesecake set, which cost 1260 yen. The black sesame latte had a strong black sesame flavor that was irresistible for black sesame lovers. When the ice on top melted, it had a creamy taste. Around 13:00, a few more groups of customers came in, so if you don't want to wait in line, I recommend going early.

After having a hamburger lunch, I was taken to a hidden cafe recommended by a friend. The atmosphere inside the cafe was very girly, making it a bit intimidating for guys to enter without a female companion. It operates on a pre-payment system, so once you decide on your order, you have to go to the counter at the back to place it. I ordered tiramisu and a cafe latte. My friend, who is male, ordered a mango cake and a black sesame latte, which were very feminine choices. The tiramisu was not too heavy, making it a good recommendation even for men! There was a booklet on the table showing how to take Instagram-worthy photos, adding to the overall girly appeal of the place. Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID-19, they have to keep the doors open, making the interior a bit warm.

A cafe tucked away in an apartment-like area. Visited at 4 pm on a weekday and was able to easily get in. Ordered an iced cocoa, chocolate brownie, iced tea, and milk crepe. The cafe has a stylish vibe and you can take trendy Korean-style photos.

I thought I would have to wait in a long line, but I was able to get in almost right away. I wasn't in the mood for black sesame, so I tried the limited-time pumpkin latte. It wasn't a latte, just a pumpkin potage. I made a mistake, I should have gone with the classic black sesame latte. I regret it.

I went during the daytime on a regular day, and had to wait a bit because it was a bit crowded. I almost got stung by a bee when climbing the dimly lit stairs outside the building, which made me panic. There was a young man working alone. I also had to wait a bit inside the shop, but the food was extremely delicious. You can relax and take your time here.

The interior of the shop was a bit small with limited seating. You have to pay first and then wait for your cake and juice. The presentation and photo-worthy quality were excellent, but the taste did not leave a strong impression that would make me want to come back. If you're looking for something photo-worthy, then you should definitely visit!

I visited SPIACAFE on the second floor of the vintage shop SPIA in Nakazaki-cho. I saw a picture of their black sesame latte on Instagram and thought it looked really cute, so I decided to order it too. The cafe's concrete walls matched the color of the black sesame latte, which made it look even more appealing. I was expecting the latte to be thick, but it was surprisingly light and delicious. I was also surprised by the colorful sprinkles on top of the ice cream - they turned out to be colorful sesame seeds! When I asked the staff, they said it was sesame sprinkles that can also be used as a topping. The slightly salty taste of the sprinkles complemented the sweetness of the ice cream perfectly. It was a nice break, and I will definitely visit again when I'm in Nakazaki-cho. Thank you for the meal!

The café latte was lukewarm. It didn't taste like a café latte at all. It seemed like they just added milk to the coffee. I will not be visiting again.

There was only one staff member at the restaurant, so they seemed busy and didn't take our order. We had to go up to them to place our order, but their response was a bit cold. The food was delicious though.

It's really just a regular black sesame latte. It has a mild sweetness and seems to be topped with ice for added volume. It's definitely Instagram-worthy.

【Memo】The exterior of the restaurant looks old and unimpressive, but once you climb the stairs, the interior suddenly becomes stylish and Instagram-worthy. The drinks are pretty average, and the price of 650 yen seems a bit high, but even on a weekday around 3 pm, it was crowded with students.

There were no waffles, but the chiffon cake was delicious.
