I can enjoy a variety of dishes at this restaurant and find it very convenient since it is located in a department store. Sometimes it can get crowded, especially with visitors from overseas. The food is not exceptional, but it never disappoints. The staff, especially the chefs, are very kind and provide attentive service.

My husband said he wanted to go, so we went again, but each time I go, I feel like the quality has decreased from when we first started going. The menu says "2 pieces of lean tuna, 2 pieces of medium fatty tuna" but... the color of the medium fatty tuna! Why does it look so strange? Is it brownish? Purplish?? I think the quality is better at slightly more expensive conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The excitement of going shopping at Takashimaya and having lunch is fading away...

Because it is located inside Namba Takashimaya, it is easy to use even while shopping. This time, I went near closing time, so many items were sold out, but I was informed of this at the waiting stage, so I was able to enter the store with understanding. The floor staff made some mistakes, but the sushi chefs quickly and reliably prepared the sushi, which was delicious. The rice used was Asahi rice from Okayama. It was soft, making it easy for elderly people to eat.

Before heading to Tokyo, I had lunch at "Nawa Sushi" in Takashimaya. Although the main store is in Umeda, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had the Tempura set meal (2400 yen) which included tempura, sashimi, eel sushi, and chawanmushi. It was a great value for the price. I also tried the seasonal dishes, such as mochi yuba and tempura of young ayu fish. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious.

Foreign customers also often visit the restaurant, and it tends to get crowded around 5 pm. The table seats have touch panels for ordering, but for things like extra servings of garlic, you need to ask the staff as it's not available on the touch panel. For counter seats, you need to place your order by talking to the staff. There was a time when the weekday night set was not available, but it has been brought back.

"Nawa Sushi (Namba Gourmet Dining Store)" is a sushi restaurant located on the 8th floor of Osaka Takashimaya in Namba. The sushi prepared by skilled chefs is quite delicious, although not as amazing as rumored. One Sunday around noon, the restaurant was bustling with long lines and all seats were taken. However, my companion and I managed to get a table at Nawa Sushi without waiting. We ordered an assorted sushi set, a special carpaccio set, and a few additional sushi pieces. The sushi was overall tasty, with the rice and toppings being decent. The portions were satisfying, and some pieces were creatively prepared. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good. Despite the slightly high prices, the quality was above average. I would rate the restaurant 3.5 stars out of 5, as it offers a reliably enjoyable dining experience without any major flaws. It may not be a top recommendation, but it is a safe choice for a decent meal at Osaka Takashimaya."

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. Currently, there are 34 dining establishments on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors, and I have visited about half of them. I would like to conquer all the restaurants, but it seems like it will take some time. I was interested in Nawa Sushi as well, but I haven't been able to visit yet. I decided to go in and was shown to a counter seat in the back. I could see outside, but there wasn't much to see. I ordered the Jyo Sushi for 3,190 yen after hesitating. I wanted to order individual items, but they were all in sets of two, so I decided against it. It's nice to have a set like this when dining alone. Since I ordered shari sushi, it was easy to eat. Everything was delicious.

"Hey there! It seems like there are more people around now in places like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba. If you're looking for a hidden gem, this place is great. They mainly serve lunch sets, so the turnover rate is pretty good. It's not too crowded with tourists, and you can start drinking from 11 am. Plus, the prices are reasonable. The seared striped jack with sudachi is delicious, especially with lots of garnishes like green onions. The clam broth is served cold and you can really taste the clam flavor. It goes well with hot sake. The grilled fish head is tender and flavorful with just the right amount of salt. The ponzu sauce complements it perfectly. The simmered dishes are tasty too, but the grilled dishes are also worth trying. Thanks for the meal!"

I made it just in time for the end of the Namba Nawa Sushi lunch in Osaka! The restaurant was bright and welcoming with sunlight streaming in. The 3000 yen lunch had small bite-sized sushi pieces that were easy to eat. The portion size was generous and the beer I had revived my tired body. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal. - by @mirai_happy

(o゚□゚)」Hey there! It's cold outside, so how about some hot sake to warm up? Here's a review of a popular spot:
- Arrived 10 minutes before opening and was the first in line, but by opening time, there were about 15 people waiting. The restaurant floor was super crowded.
- Recommended dish: lightly seared yellowtail with ponzu sauce. The searing enhances the flavor, and the grated daikon radish adds a refreshing touch.
- Also tried the simmered red snapper head from the regular menu. Half a head for 600 yen is a good deal. Not too sweet, not too salty, just perfectly cooked and delicious.
- Switched from beer to hot sake and savored every bite, even picking at the bones. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during lunchtime. Enjoyed the meal! ===========

"We ordered the voluminous Unagi Gozen for ¥3,520, which includes 1.5 servings of eel and rice. My wife chose the Sashimi Set for ¥3,190, which not only included 7 types of sashimi but also a plate of appetizers like prosciutto and karaage. We shared both dishes, enjoying the variety. The Unagi Gozen was plump and came with condiments and broth, allowing us to change up how we ate it - finishing with a dry, hittsumabushi-style dish. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a counter, and the price for the quality of eel we received was reasonable. Thank you for the feast."

From around 11:00, I wrote my name on the waiting list in front of the restaurant and waited. It was lunchtime, so there were already about 5 groups ahead of me. I was seated at a table and was able to use a premium meal voucher. I placed my order using the notepad on the table. I ordered one Nawa Sushi Special Selection, one Seto, and one Toro Tekka. During lunchtime, red miso soup is served with jun-sai, wakame, and aburaage. I also ordered two hot teas.

"Whoa! A little bit of luxury for lunch, here we go. They have a lunch menu available during lunchtime, but you can also order from the regular menu. They also have daily specials.
- Shirako (milt) with ponzu sauce: They boil it right after you order, and it's cooked perfectly, with a nice firm texture. So delicious! The mild ponzu sauce goes great with it, and it goes down smoothly with a beer.
- Grilled sazae (turban shell) in a pot (2 pieces): They're chopped up for easy eating, but the best part is hidden deep inside the shell, so use the toothpick provided to dig it out. When you find it, it's firm and tasty!
- Iwashi (sardine) nuta (dressed with vinegar miso): The unique smell of sardines is masked by the vinegar miso, which is a bit disappointing.
- Sushi: - Striped jack (2 pieces) - Seared beltfish (2 pieces with salt) - Botan shrimp (1 piece) We ordered nigiri sushi with a focus on the quality of the fish and rice. The freshness is great, and it's easy to eat. Oh, don't forget to ask for the shrimp heads to be grilled with salt. Crunchy and delicious!
I had a bottle of beer and a warm sake, and the total came to about 5000 yen. Thanks for the delicious meal!"

He said he wanted to eat sushi, so we sat at the counter. I didn't take any photos, so I forgot what we ate, but all the sushi was delicious. I heard, saw, and tried something called "dobin mushi" for the first time in my life! It was delicious!

I have been going to Osaka quite frequently lately. I made a dinner reservation for a group of people and we went to the restaurant. Each person can order their favorite dishes at their own pace using the touch panel, which I really like. It can be a hassle to ask everyone's preferences and place orders when there are many people, but here, everyone can input their orders freely on the touch panel, so we can smoothly order while having conversations. We ordered highballs, lemon sours, white wine, beer, and more. I like the calm atmosphere on this floor of Takashimaya. It's not too noisy, so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. Thank you for the meal.

Today's meeting was at Namba Takashimaya for lunch. My partner recommended this place, and we were warmly welcomed by a skilled chef. The lunch menu starts from around 1000 yen, making it affordable. It's not often that I get to enjoy sushi made by a master chef, but the rice was outstanding - easy to pick up with chopsticks and melts in your mouth. I also bought a batera as a souvenir for my dinner. They made it by hand after I placed my order. Another restaurant that I would love to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had some business to attend to in Namba and since I hadn't had lunch yet, I decided to visit Nawa Sushi, a restaurant I had frequented many times in Umeda in the past. It was the Obon holiday period, so I was prepared to look for another restaurant if the wait was too long, but there were only a few groups ahead of me so I decided to wait. After a short wait, I was seated by the window with a view of various buildings. I was worried that the food wouldn't look good in photos, but to my surprise, it looked great (not really, haha). I ordered a plate of sashimi, deep-fried squid legs, and seared tuna cheek, and all of them looked fantastic against the backdrop. If you change the angle of this photo... you can see Muji and Tower Records. It was a nice touch. The food was delicious, but if I had to complain about one thing, it's that I didn't ask for extra wasabi (´;ω;`). The waitress brought a lot of wasabi, so it was all good. The prices for the drinks and food were reasonable too. I will definitely revisit when I can get a window seat again.

I visited a shop that I was curious about while shopping at Takashimaya. It was always crowded, but I finally got a chance to try it. I had dried kombu, grilled shiitake mushrooms, grilled eringi mushrooms, etc. I sat at a table seat and ended with a sushi set. It was relatively reasonable and I was able to eat decently, so it's a good restaurant.

This is a sushi specialty restaurant on the 8th floor of Osaka Takashimaya. The atmosphere inside is quiet with background music playing, and the energetic calls of the male staff can be heard. I ordered the sashimi set meal (2,800 yen) at a long table by the window. They accept orders through paper menus or tablets, which is convenient. The sashimi, chilled with ice, is fresh and delicious. The small dishes like fried chicken lined up on a long plate also have an exquisite taste. The miso soup with fish is made with red miso, which is rare in Kansai, and the rice is cooked skillfully and tastes great. The level of customer service and satisfaction at this restaurant is high.

I arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm. After ordering drinks, I first ordered the carpaccio. Then, I ordered recommended sushi from the touch panel. After a while, the sushi was brought to me, but the carpaccio never came. I asked the female staff, and she said she would check immediately. The carpaccio eventually arrived, but it was clear that the order had not gone through. It was disappointing.
