I've been interested in this restaurant for a while. It's close to Tennoji Station, which is convenient! It's a great place for group gatherings like year-end parties or for couples too! The appetizers are delicious! There were many dishes I liked, so I really enjoyed it! This building has many restaurants, which is nice! It's recommended to make a reservation just in case! It might be fully booked on weekends!

I stopped by for a meal on my way back from an outing. I didn't know my way around Tennoji, so I just went along with where I was taken. It seemed to be a seafood izakaya. We ordered a sashimi platter, conger eel tempura with plenty of green onions, beef tataki, salmon roe and sea urchin overflowing sushi, edamame, etc. The sashimi didn't seem very fresh. The meat had a bit of a smell to it. There was a lot of conger eel. The salmon roe and sea urchin overflowing sushi that I was looking forward to came in a small wooden box. The sea urchin had a strange flavor. They had a decent variety of sake. The prices were reasonable, so it might be good for young people. In reality, the main clientele seemed to be in their 20s. I didn't like that smoking was allowed. Thank you for the meal.

I would not have encountered this restaurant if it weren't for GOTOEAT♪ Beautiful meat, fish, and sake - Teru. Located in the basement of the Gochisou Building in Tennoji, Teru is a place where you can enjoy a variety of Japanese sake. As a beer lover, I apologize for not indulging in the sake. The limited course "Genten Course (7 items)" includes all-you-can-drink beer for only 2,950 yen - a great deal! The beer served in frosty mugs, the sashimi, the fried chicken, all made with high-quality ingredients and delicious flavors! Even the fried potatoes were tasty. The meal ended with rice and dessert. I am completely satisfied. Thanks to GOTOEAT, I was able to discover this wonderful restaurant. I will definitely be coming back!

Located on the basement floor of the Shinjuku Gochisou Building is a restaurant called Terasan. I had been curious about it for a while, and recently went there for a small year-end party with my colleagues. Our boss, who loves sake, reserved the "Terasu no Mine Course" for us! This full course meal includes popular dishes like uni sushi and anglerfish tempura. The private tatami room was spacious and well-separated, so we didn't have to worry about noise from other tables. We split into two groups, one preferring sake and the other preferring Dassai, and toasted in luxury. The course mainly consisted of seafood dishes. The salmon and salmon roe salad was perfect with beer. The assorted sashimi platter made our sake glasses quickly empty...! The uni sushi melted in our mouths...! It had no fishy smell, just a rich umami flavor that was truly blissful...! The staff were attentive and we had a great time. I definitely want to visit again for a private occasion.

A izakaya that is easily accessible from the station. It is a bit narrow as it is located in a building, so it is best for 2-3 people. I went with a friend this time. The course options are great, and if you plan on drinking, the course is definitely worth it. If you're not picky, the Standard Plan is enjoyable enough. You can upgrade to the Premium Plan for an extra 500 yen, which includes Kirin Ichiban beer, branded shochu, and fruit liquor all-you-can-drink. With a coupon, we got a 4000 yen course for 3500 yen and enjoyed the Premium all-you-can-drink. The Meat Enjoyment Plan includes 8 dishes with meat in all except for the appetizer and dessert. All the dishes were delicious, but the sushi at the end was especially good. The beef yukke sushi, a meat sushi, had tender and delicious rare beef. It's recommended to go on an empty stomach. I will definitely come back to eat here again.

A sake-focused izakaya in Tennoji! Located just a short walk from Osaka Abenobashi Station and Tennoji Station, this restaurant is situated on the basement floor of the Gochisou Building. They offer an impressive selection of over 50 types of sake at all times! If you're not sure what to drink, it's recommended to ask the staff for recommendations. They will kindly explain the differences in taste profiles such as smoothness and crispness. The dishes are mostly sake-friendly and reasonably priced, ranging from 400 to 600 yen. We ordered sashimi, tofu salad, fried chicken cartilage, and hokke, all of which were delicious. The sashimi platter, in particular, was a good deal with 5 varieties for under 1000 yen! We each ordered different sakes, so we may have tried about 10 varieties in total... (laughs) I didn't expect to drink this much, so next time, I would definitely go for the all-you-can-drink option! The restaurant is not very spacious, so it's better suited for small groups rather than large parties. Making a reservation in advance would be smooth. And I highly recommend going for the all-you-can-drink course! (laughs)

When I went to Osaka for work, I visited the izakaya called "Sho" in Tennoji at night. It is located on the basement floor of a building about a 2-minute walk from JR Tennoji Station. The entrance with a flag of Dassai and Sho's lantern caught my eye! On this day, I drank with a friend I hadn't seen in a while! Since we were both men, we mainly ordered alcohol and appetizers. We also ordered the meat sushi that caught our eye on the menu. The izakaya menu is also extensive. We started with a toast with beer! The meat sushi was easy to eat in one bite, and the meat was fresh and delicious! The luxurious uni also added to the experience. This alone made the beer go down smoothly. The chicken nanban and whole grilled squid also paired perfectly with sake. The cost performance was good, and most importantly, the variety of alcohol was impressive! Well then, everyone, Arrivederci!

I went with a coworker after work. It was a weeknight but quite crowded. There were quite a few noisy people, so it may not be ideal for those looking for a quiet atmosphere. On the other hand, it's perfect for a large group looking to have a lively time. It seemed like there weren't enough staff as it took a while to be served. The variety of dishes was enjoyable to choose from and the taste was good.

After work, I was intrigued by the lanterns outside the shop and decided to go in. I visited on a Wednesday night, and despite it being a weekday, the place was quite busy. The shop is located just a short walk from Tennoji Station, and the interior is a very cool and sophisticated space with plenty of seating. This time, I casually ordered a few dishes while drinking with a friend who knows a lot about alcohol. I was so engrossed in our conversation that I honestly don't remember exactly what we ordered, but what I do remember clearly is that the grilled salmon belly and the sake "Mitsui no Kotobuki" were amazing. The juiciness of the salmon paired perfectly with the alcohol. Mitsui no Kotobuki is apparently a sake from Fukuoka, and it was also fantastic. The cost performance is good, and my friend mentioned that they have a wide variety of alcohol, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Today's lunch was at "Niku x Sakana x Nihonshu Teru Tennoji Store" in Abeno, Osaka. It's located in the "Shinjuku Gochisou Building" for some reason. There were various set meals to choose from, and after much deliberation, I decided on the Conger Eel Tempura Set Meal (780 yen) because I love conger eel. It also came with a drink! The restaurant was quite empty around 12:30. After placing my order, I had to wait a bit. The food arrived in about 15 minutes. I was a bit disappointed by the portion size of the conger eel. It was smaller than expected. The dish was a bit too salty due to excessive soy sauce. The salad and pickles were served with lettuce, and even under the conger eel and green onions, there was more lettuce. I started with the meal. The tofu was small and the miso soup had sesame oil like in Korean cuisine or at a yakiniku restaurant. I wondered if it would go well with the conger eel tempura. The coffee at the end was a nice touch. Overall, the restaurant had plenty of room for improvement.

There are many types of sake and dishes that go well with alcohol at this restaurant! The staff are also very cute and friendly, which made me enjoy my drinks even more (*^▽^*) Both the meat and fish dishes were delicious. However, the potato salad looked different from the photo, but it still tasted good. There are no private rooms, so it can get a bit noisy, but it's a fun place to eat!

It was a shop that I searched for a private room, but it felt more like a semi-private room with partitions made of bamboo blinds. I chose the premium all-you-can-drink option, and it was great that I could order with my smartphone without feeling hesitant, and they brought the drinks right away after ordering. The only downside was that the room was a bit small.

I was taken to an izakaya by a friend who lives in Osaka. It was a bitterly cold day, but thankfully we could go through the underground to get there. The interior of the izakaya was stylish and had a cozy atmosphere, with exposed ceiling beams adding to its charm. The staff were friendly, typical of Osaka hospitality. Although I expected to see mostly younger customers, there were surprisingly many middle-aged patrons as well. It seemed like a place where true sake enthusiasts gather, given their dedication to Japanese sake. We ordered dishes like sesame-marinated yellowtail, grilled green onions with ponzu sauce, and cherry blossom meat, which all paired well with sake. The yellowtail was rich and fatty, a perfect match for the high-quality sake. The grilled green onions were refreshing and savory, complementing the firm texture of the yellowtail. I underestimated the izakaya, thinking it would be like any other, but I was proven wrong by the trendy and high-quality dishes. The cherry blossom meat was delicious, with a fresh and thick cut. The tripe hot pot as the finale had a flavorful broth that soaked into the meat and bones. I think I'll be craving tripe hot pot as a perfect end to a drinking session for a while. Although I can't visit Osaka frequently, this izakaya made me want to come back again.

When I visited a little after 5 pm, the place was not crowded at first, but it gradually filled up as time passed. The interior of the restaurant has a typical izakaya atmosphere with sake bottles displayed, but it is clean and simple, making it comfortable for people of all genders and ages. As the weather was getting chilly, we decided to start with some warm dishes and sake. We ordered two servings of beef tongue shabu-shabu, which caught our eye first. Although I have had beef tongue before, it was my first time trying it shabu-shabu style. The staff promptly prepared it for us after we placed our order. I am not very knowledgeable about sake, so I asked the staff for recommendations and made my selection based on their suggestions. While we were chatting, the beef tongue arrived. The vibrant colors of the neatly arranged beef tongue were appetizing. Just a quick dip in the hot water changed its color, indicating it was ready to eat. Beef tongue is known for its chewy texture, but when eaten shabu-shabu style, it was relatively easy to eat with a good balance of texture and flavor. As we enjoyed the beef tongue, we found ourselves drinking the sake faster than expected, as it was so delicious. We also tried the meat sushi, which was equally delicious. By the time we finished, the place was crowded, indicating its popularity. There were many other menu items that caught our attention, so we will definitely be back. It was a delightful dining experience.
