I have passed by this ramen shop many times by car, but I hesitated to go in because of the "salt" due to my high blood pressure prevention. This time, I ordered the "Natural Salt Ramen" special set. The special set includes a half portion of fried rice and dumplings. The noodles in the ramen were thin with a good chewy texture, which I like. The soup, made with natural salt, was not too salty but had a well-flavored taste. The fried rice was subtly flavored, complementing the ramen well. The dumplings were ordinary, neither outstanding nor bad. Overall, it was a relatively delicious ramen shop and I would like to visit again if I have the chance. The staff were all friendly, which was also nice.

During lunchtime, I was on the move and missed the lunch hours, so I went to Takatsuki Shiomonsui in Takatsuki for their salt dipping noodles and fried chicken set. It takes time to boil the noodles, but the dipping noodles were delicious with a clean and tasty noodle texture. I don't carry much cash with me these days, so it's inconvenient when chain restaurants only accept cash. Takatsuki Shiomonsui, 1-3-1 Hashimoto, Takatsuki City, Osaka.

Today's dinner is here. It's hot, so I had salt tsukemen again. The staff told me that if there's leftover dipping sauce, I can add soup to make it a soup base, but I skipped that for the beer at home later. The noodles are made in the store. There's a machine right at the entrance where they make the noodles. They're thick noodles, but not too thick, just right for tsukemen. It was delicious.

Whenever I visit this restaurant, it always seems to be raining for some reason (laughs). Today being Saturday, the place was almost full by 5 PM. It's really popular. I decided to have the salt tsukemen, thinking about enjoying a beer at home later. But it seemed like most people were having the salt ramen. I guess ordering the specialty of the restaurant is the way to go.

It seems that the rainy season has started, and it has been raining continuously. I rode my bike in the rain to reach this shop. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, but it was farther than I thought, so I didn't have the opportunity to go. This time, I stopped by on my way to work. There are various set menus, so I thought maybe this shop doesn't have much confidence in just their ramen, but the salt ramen was delicious. I have been to Shio Mototsu before. It is a chain store, but it was delicious, so I think they must have a good recipe. However, there was also all-you-can-eat kimchi here, so I personally think that if you eat that, you might not be able to appreciate the deliciousness of the salt ramen. That's why I didn't have any kimchi this time. Thanks to that, I think both the ramen and the gyoza were delicious.

Located away from the main streets of Takatsuki City, this restaurant has a parking lot. I had their natural salt ramen before, but today I tried their tsukemen because it was hot outside. The thick noodles were very filling. By the time I finished the noodles, the soup had cooled down a bit, but it still tasted good with a nice saltiness. Thank you for the meal.

The ramen restaurant "Ramen Shogun" opened at 11:00 for lunch and there was already a line! The total bill was 5,959 yen (including tax). Below are the prices without tax. Special Set: Negi Shio Ramen, half fried rice, 6 gyoza = 1,440 yen. Miso Ramen, half fried rice, 6 gyoza = 1,380 yen. C Set: Negi Shio Ramen = 1,180 yen. Salt tsukemen = 930 yen. The soup is flavorful and delicious.

Last night, I watched a TV program ranking fried rice at ramen chain restaurants. For today's lunch, I decided to come to Shiomarshall Takatsuki branch. It's been a while since I last visited, and I ordered the salt ramen for ¥810 with a special set for ¥420. Lately, there have been many innovative salt ramen varieties, but this one had a simple flavor. When I went outside, I saw a line of about 10 groups of people. The power of television is amazing!

A long-awaited revisit to Takatsuki Shio Gensui. The parking lot is spacious, and the restaurant is also large, but it quickly fills up due to its popularity. I have always had ramen at Shio Gensui's various locations, but this time I will try the tsukemen (dipping noodles). While waiting, I enjoyed some complimentary kimchi from the kimchi bar. Due to the pandemic, ordering was done at the table, but it feels like daily life is slowly returning. The kimchi had just the right amount of spiciness and was delicious, making me crave some rice. The tsukemen arrived. Even the regular size is a generous 240g portion. The thick and chewy noodles have a strong wheat flavor and are delicious on their own. The dipping sauce is a blend of chicken umami, refreshing saltiness, seafood flavor, and the added aroma of charred green onions, creating a rich and flavorful experience. The noodles perfectly coat the soup, making it a satisfying dish that you can't stop eating. Takatsuki Shio Gensui is known for its delicious ramen, but their tsukemen is also excellent. The thick slices of chashu, green onions, and seasoned egg toppings complement the soup well. Adding some soup to the remaining sauce enhances the refreshing taste of bonito and yuzu, making it a drinkable bowl. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a standard salt ramen with a boiled egg topping and a lunch set with dumplings. The soup had a hint of yuzu flavor, which I found to be the original salt trendsetter. I drank the soup until I could see the bottom with the message "thank you". The noodles were made in the noodle factory at the entrance of the store, and the thin flat noodles were chewy and went well with the soup. The restaurant is spacious with many table seats and a large parking lot. They also have a children's menu, so I'm thinking of going with my kids next time.

I visited this nearby "Shiogenmai" for lunch. Shiogenmai is a chain restaurant, but the taste is always delicious wherever you go. So, I decided to stop by. The parking lot is spacious and safe. I entered around 11:30 and was seated right away.

This is the epitome of salt ramen, with a light yet flavorful taste. It's simple and delicious. The fact that you can drive there is convenient, but the large number of seats in the store made it feel a bit wasteful. If it had been a counter-only store, I think it would have felt even more delicious.

I visited during an early lunch time on a weekday. Even at this time, there were many people from the surrounding offices, so it's best to go a bit earlier or later. This time, I ordered a simple salt ramen. The burnt onion and yuzu were nice accents in the salt ramen. The noodles were a bit soft. Thank you for the meal!

Today's ramen adventure took me to "Koshoku Shogun" in Takatsuki, Osaka, a branch of a place I had visited in Tenroku before. I had never been to "Shio Gensui" before, so I decided to give it a try since it was nearby. I arrived around 7 pm and had to wait in line with 6 people ahead of me. After a short wait, I was seated and ordered their natural salt ramen. The soup had a delicious combination of chicken and pork bone flavors with natural salt seasoning, although it felt like it could use a bit more punch. The burnt green onions and yuzu added a refreshing and fragrant touch. The noodles were homemade thin straight noodles with a smooth texture and a nice wheat flavor. The large pork shoulder chashu was tender and flavorful, although it had a slight unpleasant pork scent. Despite the popularity of Shio Gensui, the wait was worth it, and the service was excellent.

Around 11:45, after finishing playing baseball, there were many visiting families and about 10 groups waiting for a table. I preferred sitting at the counter, so I had to wait for about 10 minutes before being able to enter the restaurant. I ordered the natural salt ramen and fried rice set for 1300 yen. First, I tried the recommended fried rice, which had a deliciously fragrant aroma from being stir-fried. It was cooked to the perfect texture and very tasty. I was also happy to find diced chashu pork in it. Next, the soup of the natural salt ramen was based on pork bone and chicken broth. It had a roasted onion which added a nice fragrant touch and was delicious. After eating that fried rice, the ramen seemed a bit less impressive, but I will definitely come back again.

I avoided the busy lunch hour and went as soon as the restaurant opened by car! When I entered the store, the staff were energetic and lively! I had the classic salt ramen ✨ along with fried rice, gyoza, and kimchi! As expected, the fact that most Takatsuki citizens say it's delicious was true. Before 12 o'clock, the restaurant was full and there was a line outside as well! I recommend going during off-peak hours♪♪♪♪

I've been curious for a while, and although I've tried the Shio Gensui ramen from the frozen food section at the supermarket, this was my first time at this popular restaurant. The parking lot was full, and I had to wait in my car for an hour before getting in. Personally, I found the chicken oil a bit heavy, and I might prefer a slightly lighter shio ramen. However, both the noodles and the soup had their own unique qualities and were delicious.

This is a ramen shop in the neighborhood within walking distance from my home. Surprisingly, this location has never had a long-lasting restaurant, with many big chain restaurants opening and closing within a few years. About 9 years ago, when Shio Gensui opened, I was skeptical, but now it's a thriving restaurant with a line out the door during lunchtime. The Shio Ramen, after which the shop is named, is delicious, but surprisingly, the Miso Ramen is even better. The miso packs a punch and pairs well with the bean sprouts, making me want to drink every last drop of soup. At the bottom of the ramen bowl, a "thank you" message appears. They don't use any artificial seasonings, so even though I say it's just this once, I find myself face to face with the "thank you" message every time.

I was getting tired of eating osechi, so my family went out for ramen. After some deliberation, we decided to go to Shio Gensui. It's still a popular restaurant. We arrived right at the opening at 11 am, and it was almost full. We were lucky to get in without much of a wait. I ordered the classic Shio Ramen and also added the fried rice because it's delicious here. My child ordered the soy sauce ramen, and I tried a bit, but honestly, it was just okay. This place is definitely better for those who order the Shio Ramen. It was consistently delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had heard the name many times and walked past it, but I finally went there for the first time. As soon as I entered, I could tell that they put a lot of effort into customer service. I went in without any prior knowledge and chose the salt ramen as the name suggests, along with the C set. The all-you-can-eat kimchi was a nice service! The ramen itself was delicious and had a rich flavor. It had been a while since I had salt ramen, but it met my expectations. Recently, there have been a lot of tonkotsu and miso ramen, so this was a nice change. The chashu was delicious. However, the chashu mayo bowl in the set was not what I expected. If I have the chance, I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.
