I really wanted to have some soft serve ice cream, but surprisingly, it was on hold. Is it because it's winter? Or is there some other reason? A bit disappointed, I decided to try... ◆ New Latte S $1.50 A newly revamped latte supervised by the world's best barista*! Enjoy the perfect balance of espresso richness and milk sweetness... released on January 15th. *Winner of the 2014 World Barista Championship, Hirotsugu Iizaki. The coffee flavor wasn't too strong, with a prominent milk taste. Actually, it was my first time trying a latte from McDonald's, so I can't compare it to the previous version. ◆ Cinnamon Melts A fluffy bread with a rich cinnamon sugar and a creamy cheese-flavored syrup drizzle on top of cinnamon bread... released on October 16th. Although it's a limited-time product, they still had it available, so I ordered it. Visited on October 19, 2017, and posted on the same day (all information is from the visit). Enjoyed a snack with my family at a McDonald's along R171. We were hoping to try the "Limited Time Bacon Potato Pie," but unfortunately, this location didn't have it. The price of all sizes of fries being $1.50 was a lucky find. We shared it between two people and it was delicious. We also had a small Fanta Melon for $1.00 and a complimentary small Premium Roast Coffee sample. The "Hee Hon Ho He Ho Hai" was actually the Bacon Potato Pie, which was renamed to better express its deliciousness and warmth when eaten. Additionally, the free hot small Premium Roast Coffee promotion is ongoing until the 20th from 3-7 pm, and it somehow tastes even better when it's free. Visited in May 2017, on May 31st. During an outing with my family, we took a restroom break at the Kansai Super in Mishima Hill in Ibaraki. We also enjoyed some cold treats at the "Relaxation Plaza". - Back Double Cheeseburger Set: 770 yen (tax included) - Mac Cream Soda: Sweet, cold, and delicious! We took the hamburger and large fries to go, and enjoyed them at home. The Back Double Cheeseburger is 360 yen when purchased separately. It looks like a regular double cheeseburger, but hidden at the bottom are garlic, chili pepper, and coarse salt! It's delicious and makes you crave a beer! Highly recommended!

One day, some reviewers posted reviews and photos of a Squid Ink Burger priced at 370 yen (including tax). I remembered that my son had asked me to buy it for him, so I stopped by a store inside a Kansai supermarket in Mishima while driving along the national highway. I also bought one for myself. There is a drive-thru store a little further east in Tomita, but I find it difficult to navigate due to heavy traffic. The store I visited is easier to access from the side of the national highway, and the parking lot is fairly spacious and easy to park in. Here are my thoughts after trying it: - The mustard and fried onions add a delicious flavor. - I couldn't really taste the squid ink, but the visual impact is great. - It's easy to eat because it's not overloaded with lettuce, tomato, and too much sauce. It's a bit pricey, but it's quite filling, so I think it's worth it as an occasional treat. It reminded me of Lotteria's "Delicious Burger" and Mos Burger's "Supreme Burger," and I really liked it. Thank you for the meal!

During this busy period, I found myself using McDonald's for meals quite often. This time, I visited McDonald's Misakaoka Kansai Supermarket store. I arrived just before closing time at 8:50 PM, planning to order the limited-time Gracoro, a salad, and a latte from McCafé. However, I was told, "We don't have any beef burgers," "We're sold out of salad," and "The McCafé machine isn't working." It was hard to believe! No beef burgers, no salad, and the McCafé machine not working. I had wanted to try the Gracoro, but it seems they only had chicken burgers, Filet-O-Fish, and that's it. Unbelievable! I decided to get a Coke Zero instead of the McCafé, but there was no straw! It was such a chaotic experience at McDonald's. The Gracoro was freshly made and hot, with the buns being soft. It tasted better when it's freshly made. This McDonald's store is located along Route 171, making it convenient for those traveling from Kyoto to Osaka. It's a bit inconvenient that they close at 9 PM on weekdays (9 AM on weekends), but that's understandable. Overall, aside from the beef menu, it's a good place to dine. Thank you for the meal!

Located inside a Kansai Supermarket along National Route 171, this McDonald's feels like it's for the locals. It's not near a station, so it seems to cater more to families. I noticed a lot of families there. I hadn't been in a while, so I decided to get a Big Mac since it was on sale. It was only 550 yen for the set. Such a good deal. I was hungry, so I also got some Juicy Chicken Selects on their own. Sometimes you just crave McDonald's, right? I was surprised to see that the daytime set now comes in a small size. If you want to upgrade to a medium, it's an extra 100 yen. Still, it's cheap. The Big Mac I had after so long was delicious!

This is a McDonald's located inside a Kansai Super store along the national highway. I tried the Big Mac because it was on sale and it was delicious. Normally, I order a hamburger and a small Coca-Cola, but this time I just had the Big Mac. McDonald's is great because you can eat three hamburgers for only 300 yen. It's sad that the Big Mac will be more expensive next week, making it harder to eat. I would like to try the Big Mac again if I have the chance.
