I wanted to eat yakiniku but when ordering for three people, it's quite a lot. So, I thought it would be better to go for all-you-can-eat, but most places cost over 3,000 yen per person. In the midst of that, I decided it might be okay to order one dish at a time, so I chose this restaurant. It was my first time there, but I was able to place orders using the touch panel at my table without having to call a waiter, including ordering tea and changing the grill. The restaurant is small but not noisy, so you can eat and drink in a calm atmosphere. The meat was more delicious than the all-you-can-eat options. There were two types of sauce, and the miso sauce was delicious. What's more, the touch panel shows what you ordered, the current total price, and how much it will be per person, making it easy to calculate the final bill when ordering next. Above all, the draft beer is only 190 yen, and the soft drinks are served in large glasses, just the right size for one drink! In the end, I ate to my heart's content, had some drinks, and it didn't cost me 3,000 yen per person. Next time I want to eat yakiniku in Osaka, I will choose this restaurant.

Lunchtime was surprisingly not crowded, and the layout of the restaurant or the seating arrangement was done well, so even dining alone felt very cozy and I could eat comfortably. I really liked the sauce for the hormone (offal). Ordering was done through a touch panel, and the lunch set for one person was satisfying. The prices were reasonable. If you're looking to have yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) alone in Namba, I recommend this place.

Well, this time I will be sharing my review of the 2023 Osaka February Tour 2nd. Originally, I should have been enjoying the June Osaka Tour, but due to natural phenomena such as heavy rain leading to river flooding and landslides, transportation was disrupted, affecting my work the next day. So, the day before yesterday, I went drinking in Nagoya instead and returned home early. I will continue to share the reviews that I have been looking forward to for this month's tour *\(^o^)/* On this day, after finishing work, I headed to Osaka by bus and train. However, upon arriving at Maibara Station, which is a transfer point, an announcement was made that the coupling device was being warmed up as a lesson from last month's train breakdown, and the New Rapid Service was suspended. From then on, only local trains were running, so it took me 3.5 hours to arrive, which made me quite tired (´・ω・`) With no time to relax and have a drink in the station building, I quickly took the Midosuji Line to Namba. When feeling tired like this, I thought I needed meat to recover my stamina rather than fish (*≧∀≦*), so I came to this place in the backstreets of Namba: Yakiniku Goen Namba. You may have seen this distinctive sign before *\(^o^)/* As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was guided to a table at the back. The restaurant was very crowded, with mostly Korean customers (lol). Indeed, Korean tourists were quite common at this time of year. The ordering style here is through a touch panel, so there are no physical menus. First, I ordered a draft beer (^o^)/ By the way, the reason I was drawn to this place was the cheap price of draft beer. Even though it's excluding tax, being able to drink for 290 yen is too attractive, don't you think? (*≧∀≦*) This affordability led to me ordering more (lol). The prices of the meat were also cheap, which was great! I chose the following: - Specialties: Abarah, Kalbi, Roast, Grilled Vegetables? A: If I were to spend 30,000 yen at one high-end restaurant, I'd rather spend 3,000 yen each at 10 different places. I'll leave the reviews of high-end yakiniku restaurants to the wealthy folks. I'll stick to the path of the common people *\(^o^)/* Now, the meat included fatty Abarah, Kalbi, and Roast. However, when I grilled and tasted them, they were more delicious than I expected (*≧∀≦*) Plus, there was a good amount of food for the price. I hadn't eaten since lunchtime, and my stomach was nicely filled (*^▽^*) As for the service... both the male and female staff were friendly and provided a pleasant service (*^▽^*) Good customer service makes you want to revisit a restaurant, right? The bill came to 3,443 yen. Overall, it wasn't as cheap as I thought (lol). There is also a branch in Sennichimae, so maybe I'll visit there for comparison? *\(^o^)/*

Today, I visited "Yakiniku Goen Namba" restaurant. I ended up here after being turned away from my intended destination. According to their official information, their concept is to provide safe and high-quality meat at reasonable prices. They focus on creating a casual atmosphere for customers to enjoy. I decided to try their popular Abarami Set [140g] for lunch, which came with salad and soup. The set included three types of meat: Abarai, tender Harami, and chicken thigh. The meat had a nice texture and was delicious. I would like to visit "Goen" again in the future.

After eating a variety of dishes with a good bite at an izakaya, my mother and I were tired and craving meat, so we headed to Yakiniku Road. Despite being a chain restaurant, we love the taste of Goen, so we went there. We toasted with our sixth beer and enjoyed the perfect combination of beer and grilled meat. First, we ordered the chewy Techan (390 yen each), even though our jaws were tired. But I prefer meat that requires some chewing over melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Next, we indulged in the thick-cut beef tongue (990 yen), which made us feel luxurious. Feeling great, we kept ordering more, like the assorted 5 types of hormone (1090 yen), with the Akasen being especially delicious. The beef upper salted tongue (850 yen) was also worth the price, with its rich flavor melting in our mouths. Finally, we ended our meal with the generous stone-grilled cheese bibimbap (790 yen), a delight for cheese lovers. It was a satisfying night of dining at two restaurants, with a total of 8 beers enjoyed. However, the consequences caught up with us the next day, as we suffered from severe indigestion at work.

*****October 2019 (1st visit)***** On a day off in mid-October, I decided to have lunch at a yakiniku restaurant called "Goen" in Namba, Osaka. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed that it was quite popular. I sat at a table for four and tried to place my order with the staff, only to realize that I had to do it through a tablet. Times have certainly changed. I ordered my favorite dish, the "Abarami (rib bone meat kalbi) & Harami set meal" (990 yen excluding tax) with a free extra serving of rice. The food arrived in about 2 minutes. The yakiniku sauce options included miso sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, and more. When the dish arrived, I noticed that the portion of meat was smaller than expected. Nevertheless, I focused on grilling the meat patiently. The Abarami had a rich and meaty texture, and when dipped in soy sauce, it was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and paired well with the grilled meat. I also tried the Harami with miso sauce on rice, and it was equally delicious. The meat was tender and paired nicely with the flavorful miso sauce. I also enjoyed the consomme soup as a palate cleanser. Overall, for 1,090 yen including tax, I was able to enjoy a satisfying yakiniku lunch. The only downside was the slightly small portion of meat, but the quality was still great. I would definitely visit again.

On my day off, I was craving for some meat and my friend invited me to this yakiniku restaurant called Yakiniku Goen in Namba. It's a clean restaurant located in the back streets. It seems like a chain restaurant but not one that you see often. I ordered the horumon set and my friend got the sagari set. We also ordered the All-Star set which included various cuts of meat and grilled vegetables. We also had some beer and ginger ale. The total bill came to around 5000 yen for the two of us, which was quite reasonable. The meat was delicious and the portions were decent. My friend who prefers lean meat was also satisfied. The horumon was flavorful and the quality of the meat was good. Overall, it was a nice and casual yakiniku restaurant with tasty food. Thank you for the meal!

Minami Ura Namba - I've been curious about this place for a while, and finally visited for the first time. Their specialty is the Abarami Set Meal for 990 yen, which includes Abara and Harami topped with soy sauce-based and miso-based sauces. You can also add garlic and doubanjiang to change up the flavors. They also offer draft beer for 190 yen (excluding tax), which is surprisingly delicious even though it's gas-heated. The temperature is easy to adjust, and the sauces are both great. I recommend adding doubanjiang and garlic to change it up. The cassis orange in a slim glass is also delicious. Whenever you go, the restaurant is always crowded. They have a big sign advertising draft beer for 190 yen, and when you check on Tabelog, the reviews are pretty good. Intrigued by the unique playfulness of the touch panel, I decided to enter the yakiniku restaurant. The three-story restaurant was packed, even though it was before noon. They offer a variety of set menus and lunch options, with drinks and sides at really affordable prices. I couldn't help but keep checking the prices and items multiple times (laughs). When asked about the taste, it wasn't amazing, but the unique ideas and the fun of using the touch panel made the dining experience enjoyable.

I was looking for a place where I could drink in the afternoon and came across this place. There were 7 of us, so we made a reservation and went there. It operates like an izakaya with a 2-hour time limit. We ordered using the table's touch panel. They had name tags for the different cuts of meat, which was helpful. We ordered a variety of dishes, but because there were 7 of us, we ended up ordering the All-Star set as well. The quality of the meat was decent for the price, although the Harami steak (990 yen) was a bit tough, so I wouldn't recommend it. We had kimchi, makgeolli, shochu, and consumed quite a lot with 7 people, so even though draft beer was only 190 yen, it ended up being 3500 yen per person. We ate and drank too much (laughs). And to top it off, we went to another place for a second round. Thank you for the meal!
