I found a yakitori restaurant in Shinjuku and managed to find my way there despite Shinjuku being like a maze. The restaurant is located underground, so phone signal is weak, but they offer free wifi. The yakitori was all delicious and of high quality, although not necessarily mind-blowing. Interestingly, when I ordered "hasami" (scissors), I received the negima skewers, which was a fun surprise. In addition to yakitori, they also offer seasonal dishes, so trying a variety of items is recommended. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was planning to go to a famous yakiniku restaurant in Kabukicho, but it was full. So, I walked towards Shinjuku Station and came across this place. It was almost full as well. The tuna sashimi, yakitori, and salad were delicious. The oden was just average.

This is a classic izakaya with a hidden underground feel. There are only counter seats, but the spacing is such that you don't feel crowded. They offer 10 types of salads with dressing on the side, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of the vegetables. The sashimi, yakitori, and oden are all delicious. The highball was a bit weak, but I appreciated that they have a double option on the menu. The shochu on the rocks was generously poured, which made me happy. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I went to the car dealer's yakitori restaurant. I made a reservation just in case. Despite being so crowded before, it was empty this time. The taste hasn't declined. They have been greatly affected by the corona shock. I wonder what will happen to the restaurants around Shinjuku next year. The water eggplant was delicious. The spicy mustard really goes well with it. The green onion wrapped in meat was fluffy and tasty. The cartilage wrapped in shiso and the plum-flavored chicken tenderloin are both available, so be sure to try them during this opportunity. Highly recommended. The price includes wine.

My companion made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant when our train was delayed and I wasn't feeling hungry. It was my first time there, although I had passed by it many times before. At first, I didn't notice that it was located underground and the phone signal was weak. When we arrived, it was crowded, but as it was a weekday, the number of customers gradually decreased. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was efficient. I had the impression that yakitori would take a long time to prepare, but it was served promptly. The taste was average, but the bonjiri (chicken tail) was delicious. The prices were reasonable, making it a good choice for a casual meal. I found it better than restaurants that rely on strong flavors to compensate for quality. Since it was getting colder, the oden (Japanese hot pot) was also enjoyable.

I casually went to a yakitori restaurant♪♪ I like sitting at the counter surrounding the grill, and I love the happiness of being able to eat yakitori and oden together, so I feel like dropping by occasionally. The restaurant was usually full, but there were a few empty seats this time, so I was able to sit down easily. I ordered the lightest course. The course menu for the day included negima, tebasaki, tsukune with egg yolk (automatically 2 skewers), kashiwa (?), shiso-wrapped tsukune, and asparagus-wrapped skewers. It was a light course, but it was satisfying. I forgot to take a photo, but I also ordered kombu oden. I was hungry, so I also wanted to eat tofu and shirataki. The dashi broth is delicious, so I highly recommend eating it with the yakitori (　´ ᵕ ` )

It has been a long time since I last visited. I like the potato and bacon side dish. I added 50g of meat and had two beers.

Oden was light and gentle, while yakitori had a strong flavor without any unpleasant smell, so I am satisfied.

I went to a car dealer after a long time! The skewers here are still delicious - especially the bonchiri, negima, tsukune, shiitake mushroom ball, chicken tenderloin, and chicken with plum and shiso. Luckily, it wasn't crowded because I went late.

This was my first visit, and although the food was good, there was something else that caught my attention more than the cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the food was good too, but I won't be visiting again.

It's very delicious. Rice makes a great souvenir♡ and everything is authentic and amazing.

Delicious. Especially the Negima and Enoki rolls are delicious. The sake with water is also very good.

Grilled chicken skewers taste great. Oden tastes great. The restaurant is quiet and nice. Drinking alcohol is great.

The price is high, but the yakitori is delicious.

Visit date 6/25/2018, dinner time. Just a few minutes from Shinjuku Alta, tonight I wanted to go to the Teppanyaki restaurant "Kurumaya", but unfortunately it was full. Instead, I went to the neighboring restaurant "Tonari no Kurumaya" which serves grilled chicken and oden. The place was almost full as it was dinner time. I wanted to have a beer with my colleague, but settled for a toast with oolong tea since we were still working. There were a few groups of ladies having a good time in the evening. This got me excited about the food. The staff recommended several oden dishes and we had a lively conversation about work. We had thick fried tofu, fish cake, and radish oden. As someone from Kyushu, where oden is sweeter and the soy sauce is darker and sweeter, I found the Kanto-style oden here to be quite stylish. It was delicious. We also tried some recommended grilled chicken dishes like special minced chicken wrapped in shiso leaves and pork belly skewers. Everything was delicious. Next time, I will definitely go to Teppanyaki Kurumaya. Thank you for the meal!

Tokyo has a lot of shops and... I didn't really know where we were going, but a friend recommended it so I was brought here. The place has a cool, stylish counter in the shape of a "ko" character. We started with a beer toast! The foam was perfect. The appetizer was a type of tsurumurasaki ohitashi. The skewers came out one by one, piping hot and delicious. The grilling was done just right. There were several types of sake available. The service guy poured a little extra for us, which was nice. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Shinjuku!
