It's cheap, big, and delicious, so I'm grateful for Gonbee-san. I often buy it on my way to work, but it's always crowded every day, maybe because the cost performance is so good. I used to be in Ikebukuro, but I wanted to eat onigiri, so I bought Genmai Cheese Okaka, which is still big. The cheese is rich and tasty. Nori Wasabi, I didn't feel the spiciness today. Was I always this gentle? I want more stimulation. However, in terms of cost performance, this onigiri chain is the best.

During work, Gomai Ei is a go-to place for lunch. It's convenient when you want to eat rice but are short on time. Location: Directly connected to JR Ikebukuro Station. The store has a small eat-in space with about 5 seats. When dining in, secure a seat before ordering (as it can get crowded during lunchtime). Order: Mentaiko rice ball, dried daikon radish, miso soup. Review: Average. Very average. But that's okay. Eat quickly in about 10 minutes and you're done. Priced at under 500 yen. The rice ball at Gomai Ei is large, so just one gives a satisfying rice fix. With a variety of rice ball options, you won't get tired of it. A handy place for busy times.

When you feel like eating onigiri and want to quickly have lunch, you often use the onigiri shop. It's nice that they have an eat-in space! It's neither good nor bad, just right? We enjoyed two delicious onigiri in the eat-in space.

Personally, it was like having nanakusa gayu. During New Year's, after eating various things, suddenly I felt like eating something like this. Well, compared to when I was young... but I prefer white rice, so I like onigiri. I sometimes use the popular Otsuka "Bongo" while favoring the Itabashi "Bongo". The local Ikebukuro Echika's "Bontabonta" is also like that. Also, the onigiri from the famous Japanese set meal restaurant "Bimatsu" is irresistible. I have used various other stores as well. Among them, I had never used this store even though it was in my local area. Of course, it had been a Cozy Corner for a long time, but it has been open for about two and a half years now. There is a showcase for face-to-face sales in the front, but there is also an eat-in area. You enter through the eat-in entrance, secure a seat, and then order at the showcase. "Grilled tarako" (214 yen) + "Salted beef sinew" (305 yen) + "Miso soup" (152 yen) - as shown in the photo. According to the website, the "Omurice Gongbei" has different rice for each store. This store uses Fukushima Prefecture's Aizu Sakashita Town "Bangge Rice Club" Fukushima-produced "Koshihikari". As for the fine details of the rice, I am somewhat indifferent, but as cooked rice, it looks beautiful with its glossy and translucent appearance, and when you keep chewing, the umami and sweetness come out gently and elegantly. And that's the only somewhat cliché way I can describe it. (laughs) The beef sinew is delicious. This amount for this price is undoubtedly cheap. I'm worried if they can make a profit at 305 yen. The tarako is also delicious. However, it feels like the grilled aroma has been left for too long. It has a certain elegance, but the fragrance is weak. It could be said that it lacks flavor, but if you keep chewing, the taste is good, and it may actually suit this type of rice. The miso soup is simply delicious. First of all, it's nice that it's piping hot. The mild flavor balance is like a top student, so it may have a bit of an instant taste, but I think it's probably excellent as miso soup in the Kanto region. Yeah, it was delicious. It feels like a Japanese breakfast. I like that the ingredients are not just a token amount, but are well incorporated. Today I had pork miso soup, but regardless of the day, the miso soup always has tofu, wakame, and trefoil. Hmm, I wonder when I'll get a day with different ingredients. The pork miso soup I ordered for the first time was good, with flavorful oil seeping out from the fried tofu. Enoki and shimeji mushrooms were also included, making it a mushroom-packed breakfast. I also love the friendly service from the staff here.

I went to a restaurant today that was serving smoked salmon onigiri. I also tried the shiso chirimen. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not very crowded for a Sunday afternoon (maybe because of the self-restraint period and the scorching heat?). The air conditioning inside was not too cold, but just right so that I didn't sweat too much. There is no restroom inside the restaurant, so you have to use the restroom on the other side of the road at ISP (opposite side of the escalator). It's been a while since I had a smoked salmon cheese onigiri, and it was luxurious! So delicious! The large onigiri had chunks of smoked salmon and cheese scattered throughout, which was great. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant around 1pm on a weekday after seeing it on TV. I bought the following items: - Japanese-style tuna for ¥140 - Shiso chirimenzu for ¥180 The portions were more substantial than they appeared. The dishes were quite filling, with just two pieces being enough for a meal. The flavors were rich and satisfying. While convenience store onigiri is good, this had a unique taste. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the meal.

Ikebukuro breakfast series. So far, this place is the best. Calling out to people passing by the front of the store. Casual conversations with the staff. A cheerful but not overly loud tone of voice. A peaceful atmosphere. And most importantly, the rice balls are delicious with plenty of fillings no matter which one you choose. There's no mistake. The miso soup I ordered for the first time had hard carrots, but (laughs) it still feels like a breakfast that gives me a push to do my best today.

There is a Gomusubi Kenbei store in the underground shopping area at the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. It's wonderful that they offer white rice and brown rice onigiri, which are about twice as thick as regular onigiri and 2/3 the height. If you're feeling a bit hungry at night and thinking of getting onigiri, they have an eat-in area where you can enjoy your meal. They also have side dishes, and the miso soup changes daily. The seating system is first come, first served, and it wasn't crowded when I went at night. It can be a bit chilly in the winter, but the place is bright and nice. Water is self-service, and the miso soup warms you up nicely. Thank you for the meal!

There is a new onigiri specialty store in Ikebukuro Shopping Park. It is located where Cozy Corner used to be, and you can also dine in. I used the dine-in option during lunchtime. The dine-in seats can be reserved by placing a card in advance, which is reassuring. Most people buying onigiri were for takeout. I ordered a karashi miso onigiri, a cheese okaka brown rice onigiri, and miso soup. It all cost just one coin and I got change back. The onigiri was soft and fluffy, and the miso soup was warm and comforting. It was a gentle lunch for both the body and the soul. In addition to triangle onigiri, there were also salad rolls made with brown rice wrapped in rice paper. Onigiri seems to have evolved into fashionable food as well.

I often pass by this store and have always wanted to try it. Today, I usually use the onigiri from Challenge Convenience Store, but I have never used it before because I have never had the opportunity to buy onigiri at a station or somewhere and eat it. In that sense, if it were in a different location, I might use it more often??? What kind of place is it? However... The price of onigiri is about the same as convenience stores these days, even though it is a large onigiri, the price is not much different. There are plenty of brown rice onigiri, which are popular among women. One major point is that it is quite voluminous, about 1.5 times the size of convenience store onigiri. Unlike the wrapping of convenience stores, each one comes with seaweed, which is convenient for eating outside. If there is no seaweed, you have to hold the rice directly, so having seaweed is like the original form of onigiri. There are about 30 varieties to choose from. I chose the Red Salmon for 170 yen, which is the most popular using store-baked salmon. The balance of ingredients was good. Next, I had the Hidaka Konbu for 130 yen, which is handcrafted in the store yet the same price as convenience stores. I also had the Nori Wasabi for 130 yen, which goes well with rice. It was a bit sweet. It was a shame that it was a bit crumbled. The time was late, and the rice felt a bit dry, lacking the deliciousness of freshly made onigiri. I think it would be delicious when freshly made. Next time, I will try to eat it in the small space next to the store, where it can be eaten fresh.

The store opens at 7:30, which is convenient for stopping by on the way to work. Since it opened at the end of June, I have been purchasing from here frequently. Thanks to this place, my breakfast options have expanded beyond McDonald's, Doutor, Lotteria, and Komeda's bread. The rice balls are freshly made and warm. The balance of ingredients and rice is good, making me motivated from the morning (laughs). By the way, the salt rice ball without any fillings is delicious! Someday, I would like to try the luxury of adding miso soup or pork soup to the set.

Rice balls are a great companion for movies. You can ask them to wrap it individually in a wrap when you order, which is very convenient. The sound insulation at the movie theater is perfect. The rice balls have a nice weight to them, and the fillings are flavorful and satisfying.
