"I visited Menya Nomado in Ibaraki and tried their Rich Tsukemen (950 yen). The broth is a combination of pork bone, fist bone, chicken carcass, and a blend of dried bonito, kombu, and shiitake mushroom broth, resulting in a thick and savory soy sauce dipping sauce with a good viscosity. The condensed umami of the pork bone broth is enhanced by the seafood flavor, creating a rich and flavorful taste. The noodles are straight and thick from Menya Teiaku, with a chewy texture and firmness. The bowl comes with a large slice of tender chashu, well-seasoned and full of meaty flavor. By following their new social media account, you can get a free ajitama (flavored egg) or extra noodles for one serving."

This time, I selected a rich tsukemen featured in Ramen Walker. I ordered it, but I felt like it was still lacking a bit in richness. However, the aroma of the noodles was very good, and the flavor was solid. The texture was a bit lacking, though. I think this restaurant still has room for improvement, so I have high hopes for it in the future!

I don't go to JR Tsukibashi station often, so I didn't notice the newly opened Nomado-san until I saw it on someone's Instagram. It was around lunchtime on a weekday. The inside of the restaurant was full with 3 people waiting outside. We purchased meal tickets in order and waited again. There were counter seats and table seats, and the restaurant was quite spacious. I ordered the Tonkotsu seafood ramen for ¥950 and added a lunch special chashu rice bowl for ¥200 with a free seasoned egg topping for registering on Instagram. I didn't feel much of the seafood flavor despite it being advertised as rich, but it was a unique taste that I haven't had much of before. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

"Menya Nomado" located near Ibaraki Station in Ibaraki City. They use a ticket vending machine system. The "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen" costs 950 yen. The soup is a rich, slightly thick broth with a strong seafood flavor. The noodles are medium-thin and straight, but could be a bit firmer. Toppings include thin slices of pork chashu, bamboo shoots, onions, and green onions. The ramen has a taste reminiscent of the former chef, Igei, but ultimately feels different. The soup lacks richness and doesn't mix well with the noodles. Personally, I prefer Igei's firmer noodles. I hope they do well in their hometown of Ibaraki. Thank you for the meal.

I had Tonkotsu seafood ramen and it was delicious. To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of Tonkotsu seafood ramen, but this one didn't have any strong pork or seafood smell, and the seafood texture was not overwhelming. The thin noodles were easy to eat and paired well with the soup and toppings. It was clear that the owner put a lot of effort into each element of the dish. I would definitely come back to eat this ramen again.

The owner of the popular restaurant "Igi" in Osaka mainly trained there. They focus on a rich pork bone soup, which is cooked for 10 hours to achieve an intense flavor. Their fried rice, influenced by their experience in Chinese restaurants, is also excellent. The friendly and polite service left a great impression!

I was diagnosed with Graves' disease after tests at Kansai Medical University, which requires daily medication and bi-weekly check-ups. Despite feeling reluctant, I decided to try a ramen shop recommended by the ramen blogger "Toyotune-san" as one of the top three new ramen shops in Kansai for the first half of the year. The shop was located near JR Ibaraki Station, and I arrived at noon. The bright interior had three tables and five counter seats facing the kitchen, run by a couple and another woman. The friendly service from the woman was very welcoming. The shop was quite popular and I was lucky to get a seat. I purchased tickets for "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen with Flavored Egg" and "Rice" from the ticket machine at the entrance. The food arrived promptly, and the vivid green of the mitsuba (trefoil) garnish was appetizing. The soup was rich and flavorful with a strong seafood aroma, without any unpleasant fishy taste. The straight thin noodles had a nice wheat fragrance and paired well with the soup, with a good texture. The large slices of thinly sliced lean pork char siu were also delicious. The soup, noodles, char siu, and flavored egg were all of high quality and tasty. If I were to wish for something more, it would be a bit more excitement in the dish. I mixed the rice with plenty of soup and enjoyed it to the fullest. I left the shop feeling satisfied and content. Thank you for the meal.

Pork bone and fish broth ramen for 950 yen. Toppings include chashu, onion, bamboo shoots, and mitsuba. The noodles are thin straight noodles from Kyoto. The soup is a pork bone-based fish sauce. The restaurant opened on May 23rd this year near JR Ibaraki Station. The broth combines the richness of pork bone with the flavor of fish, creating a rich and smooth taste. The noodles have a wheat aroma, good texture, and go well with the soup. The chashu is large, tender, and has a nice charred flavor. The service is polite and welcoming. Overall, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

There is a coin parking lot next to the store. The store owner and staff greeted us with a pleasant attitude. Despite many customers ordering extra noodles for their tsukemen, I ordered the Ibataki ⭐︎ Black. The slightly peppery soup paired perfectly with the noodles, making it a delicious ramen that I enjoyed. The mini chashu bowl was also light and went well with the ramen. This has become my favorite restaurant.

Today, I had some business in Takatsuki City, so on my way there, I decided to stop by a new restaurant that caught my eye. It was my first visit to "Menya Nomado" in Ibaraki City. - Arrival time: 12:10 PM - Crowdedness: 2 people waiting outside The interior of the restaurant is narrow and elongated, but the counter area is spacious and quite comfortable. I ordered the Special Tonkotsu and Seafood Ramen. It arrived in 5 minutes and looked visually appealing, with a vibrant green color from the mitsuba leaves. The chashu pork was a bit on the smaller side for a special ramen. Now, onto the soup. It was a classic tonkotsu and seafood broth, but without any fishy or unpleasant flavors, and had a mild and smooth taste. The noodles were thinner than expected, but they complemented the soup well. The main topping was the pork shoulder chashu, which was tender and flavorful. The bamboo shoot menma topping was also delicious in both taste and texture. I had a light meal due to my schedule, but the seasoned boiled egg had a strong flavor, making me crave some rice with it. Recently, I've felt that tonkotsu and seafood ramen has become a bit monotonous with strong flavors, but Menya Nomado's version was refreshing with a balanced and delicious taste that doesn't get boring. Overall, it was a satisfying bowl of ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I had the opportunity to stop by a ramen shop that was featured on my favorite Kansai-based Fuji TV show, "Yo-i Don!" The prices seemed a bit high to me as a ramen shop, but that is just my personal value judgment. I usually consider a normal ramen to be priced up to 850 yen. The ramen I had this time was a "Tonkotsu seafood ramen" and "pickled mustard greens rice." The soup was rich and flavorful, with multiple layers of seafood taste that exceeded my expectations. The noodles were just right, not too thin or too thick, and they paired perfectly with the soup. The addition of bamboo shoots was innovative and added a nice touch. The pickled mustard greens rice was tasty, but I felt it didn't quite match the level of the main dish. Overall, I would love to visit this shop again and try their special dipping noodles next time. The atmosphere of the shop was stylish and not your typical ramen shop vibe, making me feel like I was dining at an upscale ramen restaurant. This experience has raised my ramen price standards a bit higher.

Both table and counter seating are available, making it easy for solo female diners to enjoy. The rich soup combines the flavors of seafood and pork bone, becoming more delicious with each bite. The thin straight noodles also pair well with the broth! The Ibarki Black ramen has a strong taste with a punch of soy sauce and pepper. Thank you for reading until the end. Cost performance... ★★★★☆ Budget... ¥1000 Atmosphere... A new restaurant. The interior is like a cozy cafe with relaxing BGM. I want to stay here forever. The name of the restaurant, "Nomad," is innovative. The rich seafood and pork bone broth is a bit unexpected from the interior and atmosphere. - Rich seafood ramen (¥950): The broth is a rich seafood and pork bone soup with a slightly grainy texture from the fish powder. It's irresistible. However, I prefer the noodles to be a bit less hydrated to match this soup. It may not be something completely new, but there aren't many restaurants around here serving this type of ramen. It's similar to "Tsumugu" in Unobe. - Chashu bowl (¥400): A very ordinary chashu bowl, but the sear on the chashu is done well. The minced seaweed underneath the meat is quite innovative, and personally, I'm quite impressed. ★Announcement★ - I also have Instagram!!! Today (6/8), I visited a newly opened restaurant located a short walk northeast from Ibaraki Station on the JR Kyoto Line. Upon entering, I saw that there were only two options on the ticket machine: "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen" and "Ibaraki Black," both priced at 950 yen. I chose the "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen" by pressing the button located at the top, and sat at the designated counter seat furthest back. Shortly after, my bowl arrived with thin straight noodles submerged in a murky grayish soup, topped with seared chashu, bamboo shoots, chopped onions, and scallions. The soup had a soy sauce flavor with a blend of pork bone and seafood, leaning more towards the seafood aroma and taste, making it a common but tasty soup. The noodles, made by Kyoto's "Menya Teioku," had a firm texture and were quite delicious. Overall, the ramen was well-balanced and tasty, with decent toppings, making for a satisfying meal.

The new restaurant that opened on May 23rd has been constantly crowded since its opening, but around 7:30 pm there was no line so I entered. The interior is very simple, and I purchased my meal from a ticket machine. I ordered the recommended Tonkotsu Seafood Special (1300). The soup is quite rich but not too heavy, surprisingly refreshing. The thin noodles are just right. The seasoned chashu, egg, and bamboo shoots that come with it are delicious. The temperature was also just right. It gets a bit heavy towards the end, but overall it was very delicious. Next time, I would like to try the Osaka Black.

Today, I visited a ramen shop in Ibaraki. It was my first time trying out this new place. Among the many ramen shops popping up every day, my intuition led me to this one with a feeling of "Oh, this looks delicious!" based solely on a single photo. However, I made a big mistake by arriving at the opening time and having to wait in line for about 15 people. Luckily, the shop was surprisingly spacious, and I managed to get in just in time for the first seating. This shop specializes in tonkotsu and seafood-based ramen, with the tonkotsu seafood ramen catching my eye. I ordered the seasoned egg tonkotsu seafood ramen for 1,100 yen, along with a side of pickled vegetables rice for 200 yen. The shop owner had experience from "Ramen Igari" and "Menya Aozora" before opening this shop. The ramen arrived, looking even more delicious in person. The soup had a unique cloudy appearance typical of top-ranking ramen shops. The bowl contained seasoned egg, mitsuba, chopped green onions, a large piece of pork shoulder chashu, and bamboo shoots instead of menma. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles from the prestigious "Touei" brand. The hot soup combined well with the noodles, offering a perfect balance of tonkotsu, seafood, and soy sauce flavors. It may not be an exaggeration to say that it could be the best tonkotsu seafood ramen I've ever had. I enjoyed it along with the pickled vegetables rice, savoring every sip of the flavorful soup until it was all gone. It was a ramen experience that left a lasting impression. Another star ramen shop has entered the scene, and that's how it felt. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I was looking for ramen during my lunch break. I was working near Ibaraki, so I did a quick search and decided to go to a popular place called "Shin-san". However, I noticed a newly opened restaurant near the parking lot, called "Noodle Shop". I was a bit surprised that it was also a ramen place. Without any prior research, I decided to go in, feeling like I could try "Shin-san" another time. The place was crowded, but I was lucky to be seated within 5 minutes. They didn't have tsukemen, so I ordered the default tonkotsu seafood ramen with special toppings. The interior of the restaurant was very clean, with 3 tables for 4 people and a counter with 5 seats. It seemed like a place suitable for various occasions. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes. When I tasted the soup, it was not too rich or too light, but had a good balance of flavors. It had a nice aroma and umami from the tonkotsu seafood broth. It reminded me of ramen from another place called "Igei-san". Later, I found out that the chef was actually from "Igei-san", so it made sense. I felt like I wanted more noodles, but I didn't get an extra serving this time due to time constraints. I thought it would be delicious to mix the leftover soup with rice or make it into a risotto-like dish. I would definitely want to come back when I'm in the area again. Overall, the taste, service, and atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel that way. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I came here to the "Chuo-dori" along the city hall in front of "Hankyu Kyoto Line Ibaraki City Station - JR Kyoto Line Ibaraki Station" which leads to. At the site of "Ramen Teruki" that I couldn't go to because it was only open at night, a ramen shop that opened the other day. When I arrived in the morning, there were about 4-5 people waiting outside... There were many congratulatory flowers from the training place in front of the store ♫ After waiting for about 15 minutes, I was seated. The clean interior, utilizing white and natural wood grain, has a kitchen in the back left, a counter seat for 5 along the counter, and 3 four-person table seats on the right. It is run by 4 staff, both male and female. The menu consists of two types of ramen: "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen" and "Ibaraki ☆ Black (Black Soy Sauce Ramen)". There are also toppings, rice dishes, drinks, etc., making it simple and easy to understand ♪ I ordered "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen" at the ticket machine... After a while, it arrived. The soup served piping hot for a while has a momentary aroma of bonito, a thickness without any particular bitterness, and a subtle sweetness that spreads in the aftertaste with a restrained seasoning. The noodles are thin straight noodles. They are slightly firm without being too soft, with a good bite. The toppings include slightly seared juicy lean pork chashu, bamboo shoots, mitsuba, and chopped onions. I finished the soup without it getting cold until the end. Except for the bamboo shoots, it gives the impression of faithfully reproducing the taste learned at the training place... If it's at this price by default, I wish they would add at least half a flavored egg (^^; Good service. Thank you for the meal. Unique perspective ☆ Wheelchair accessible, one step to cross, washlet on the right back, no parking available.

Visited Nomado-san. The first time I had the rich tonkotsu seafood ramen, the second time I had the Ibaraki Black Ramen. Both were delicious, but the prices are a bit too high. It's not the kind of place you can casually drop by for a meal. If you add toppings to the ramen, it goes over 1300 yen. I'm sorry for the harsh opinion, but that's just how I feel. Thank you for the meal.

Tonkotsu and seafood ramen (Tonkotsu + seafood, 850 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a seafood soy sauce flavor based on tonkotsu. The noodles are slightly wavy thin straight noodles. The toppings include pork shoulder chashu, chopped onions, mitsuba (trefoil), bamboo shoots, and seasoned boiled egg. This restaurant opened on May 23 in the area near JR Ibaraki Station, taking over the previous 'Ramen Shouki' location. The soup is made with a balance of tonkotsu and seafood flavors, with a rich and creamy taste enhanced by a rounded soy sauce seasoning. The noodles are from "Menya Teiaku," offering a firm texture with a satisfying chewiness. The large piece of seared chashu is tender and well-seasoned, adding a delicious touch to the dish. You can also enjoy a change in flavor with the provided shichimi (seven spice) and pepper. There is a promotion for a free seasoned boiled egg or extra noodles with a follow on social media. I tried the seasoned boiled egg. The owner of this shop worked at "Menya Aozora" for 2 years and "Ramen Igai" for 3 years before opening their own shop here. Ibaraki City's new hot spot! The exterior looks vibrant on the opening day, right? Opened on May 23, 2023! The owner trained at the popular restaurant "Ramen Igai" before opening his own shop in his hometown of Ibaraki City. I ordered the "Tonkotsu Seafood Ramen with extra Chashu" - the rich tonkotsu seafood broth was just right with the slurp-worthy noodles. The meat was also delicious. It's quite crowded even on the opening day.
