Specialty dish - Nikurow Yaki! It's grilled meat made from a single piece of black-haired wagyu sirloin - delicious! Nikurow Kouri En, a popular local spot, opened a new branch called "Yakiniku Horumon Nikurow Hinode En." It's a hidden gem located in Neyagawa. It's tucked away in a narrow alley near the Keihan Neyagawa station and Hinode shopping street, next to the recently opened SakanaTonic BACU. The interior is stylish with concrete walls, white wooden tables, and comfortable chairs. There are counter seats, tables, and two private rooms. We started with a draft beer - Premium Malty Ale for ¥480. I've recently started enjoying beer, but only the good ones! We tried the Harami Yukke for ¥1080, which can be eaten raw. It's flavored with sesame oil and mixed with a rich egg yolk - delicious! We also had raw Senmai for ¥780, Namul platter for ¥580, and Kimchi platter for ¥580. The thick-cut tongue for ¥980 was limited in quantity, but we managed to secure one portion! It was cooked on a gas flame, which sucked the smoke away smoothly, making it not smoky at all! The meat was juicy and delicious. We also ordered the thick-sliced tongue for ¥980 and the thinly sliced tongue for ¥980, both with great textures. The fruit-packed sour drinks caught our eye - strawberry, banana, orange, kiwi for ¥580 each. They were filled with frozen fruits instead of ice - a surprising and refreshing choice for ¥580. We smashed the fruits and drank it like juice, enjoying the variety of flavors. The special grilled liver for ¥880 was tender and beautiful. The recommended cooking method is to grill it for 4 seconds on one side, flip, and grill for another 4 seconds. The sauce at Nikurow is made with the same recipe as the famous Jumbo in Tokyo, and it's delicious. We also tried the Chisha for ¥380, which was wrapped in something - we couldn't tell the exact cut, but all the meat was beautiful and juicy. The Beam Highball for ¥380 was served in a jug. The drinks were affordable and tasty. We continued with more meat dishes, enjoying the delicious rice for ¥300. The crispy surface and rare center were perfect. We also had the Upper Mino for ¥680 and Maruchou for ¥680, both with unique textures that complemented the rice well. The highlight of Nikurow is the "Nikurow Yaki," made from a single piece of black-haired wagyu sirloin grilled quickly and dipped in dragon egg sauce. I enjoyed it with rice - absolutely delicious! I can't wait to have it again! With a group of 8, we were able to try a variety of dishes and left fully satisfied. For smaller groups, there's a set menu with the famous "Nikurow Yaki" for ¥2780. (Menu details are summarized at the end of the blog post). Check out Kuro Nyan's Instagram for more updates.
