I wanted something sweet to eat, so I decided to visit a shop that usually has long lines. The shop is located on the first floor of Marui Annex near Shinjuku Sanchome Station. There is an entrance at the back, and usually there are customers waiting in line outside. Inside, there is a private room-like space on the left, a merchandise corner on the right, and tables further in the back. The shop seems to be popular among inbound tourists, as most of the customers that day were foreigners. I was seated at a table with a sofa and looked at the menu. Since it's a cinnamon roll shop, there were many menu items inspired by characters. The most popular cake was sold out, so I debated between a small parfait and decided to go for the cute chocolate parfait. The shop is filled with cinnamon roll decorations, and there are plush toys everywhere. They even let a huge plush toy sit at empty tables, which I thought was nice. The parfait was themed after a character named Mocha. Even though I'm not very familiar with it, I thought it was cute and took a commemorative photo. The placemat was also cute, and I heard you can take it home. I started by digging into the ice cream with a spoon and found sponge and cereal in the middle, with sweet chocolate sauce at the bottom. I enjoyed it slowly while admiring the interior. Thank you for the meal.

However, the food took quite a long time to arrive after ordering. Even the drinks were delayed, with people who ordered after us getting served first. We ordered a Cobb salad, but it took so long that we had to urge the staff to bring it out. Unfortunately, the dressing on the salad was too salty. The prices are also quite high. It's cute, but I left feeling very disappointed.

On this day, I specifically went for the Cinnamoroll Cafe. Upon arrival, there was a wait of about an hour, so I spent time wandering around the 6th floor. Finally, I entered the cafe. The menu was a bit limited, but I couldn't resist ordering the cutest "Goodnight Omelette Rice." Cinnamoroll is sleeping on a fluffy egg blanket - so adorable! The space is not very large, maybe due to the location, but it was cozy. I noticed many autographs of i☆Ris members displayed on the walls.

I ordered the "Distant Blue Sky Beef Stroganoff" for 1280 yen plus tax, which had a surprising blue color but a slightly tangy beef stroganoff flavor. I wanted to admire them for a while, but I was too hungry and finished my meal in no time. It's nice to have a permanent store among the many limited-time character cafes. The cakes and sodas were also very cute, so I would love to visit again to be healed.

Conceptual cafes are always a fun experience. It's nice to see a change from Hello Kitty to Cinnamoroll as the main character. Following the success of the Pompompurin Cafe, this cute cafe is a great addition. Character cafes are always crowded, so it's best to go with some extra time to spare.
