Beef tongue is thin, hormone is masked with miso sauce to cover the smell, harami is somewhat improved with a dipping sauce, and kalbi is enhanced with seasoning. It may sound like I'm just criticizing, but if you think of it as all-you-can-eat, it's within an acceptable range. Overall, it meets the standard. The parking lot here is fairly spacious, and it's always crowded, indicating its popularity. When I lived in Osaka, the mecca of yakiniku, I used to think "Gyu-kaku, really?" But when I came here, I found it surprisingly useful. It's like how a tonkotsu ramen shop that wouldn't last a year in not-so-great North Kyushu is valued in Osaka (laughs).

Yakiniku tabehoudai (all-you-can-eat) is definitely best at Gyu-Kaku! The price is reasonable, but most importantly, the food is delicious. It's a reliable yakiniku restaurant. I wish they would have let me know if the rice portion was going to be a bit too much. My top recommendation is the black sugar sweet potato butter! It's not meat, but it's delicious. I think the yakiniku tabehoudai one level above the basic option is the best choice.

I visited Gyukaku for the first time in a while. There are only two locations in Kitakyushu, so it's a bit out of the way without a car, but they have parking which is convenient. The Kalbi, their signature dish, had a consistently good taste. The Hormone had a bit too much fat, but still tasty. The Honey Deji Kalbi was delicious with the sweetness of honey enhancing the pork. I thought the seasoning of the sauce was just right, but it felt like a waste to just pour it over the meat. I prefer to massage the sauce into the meat for better flavor. Unfortunately, most of the meat was served frozen solid, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been better if it was at least partially thawed. Despite this, the staff did a good job cooking the frozen meat to perfection. Cooking is important. Overall, it's a convenient place for a casual family barbecue experience.

I tried the Gyu-kaku course (all-you-can-eat with over 100 items for 3,480 yen). The most delicious dish for me was the "King Harami." I also enjoyed the "Kalbi Rice," which was interesting. Maybe I would have preferred the "Negi Tamago Rice." I also tried the "Cheese Fondue de Chicken Basil" out of curiosity. I couldn't try the "Gyu-kaku Kimchi," "Grilled Potato Butter," or "Head-on Shrimp" because I was already full. Personally, I would be happy if they offered "Sakura Yukke" or thinly sliced "Beef Tongue" in this course.

After a long time, I indulged in eating meat voraciously. I used a hot pepper weekday limited coupon for all-you-can-eat and drink for 2500 yen. The content was not particularly different from usual, but the cost performance was unbeatable. Above all, the rice was delicious. I kept eating for 90 minutes and was completely satisfied. What surprised me was that the Namul assortment included lotus root and eggplant. The seasoning was light, but I was surprised to see Namul that you don't often come across. It's nice to be able to taste the same consistent flavor anywhere in the country.

The staff is energetic and lively, which is great. The quality of the meat is better compared to other Gyu-Kaku restaurants. It's a shame that the closing time is early.
