This was my first time staying at Hotel New Otani. The service was on a different level compared to the usual business hotels I often stay at. I couldn't help but have high expectations for the breakfast buffet. However, I found that there were fewer options than I had anticipated. The food was delicious, especially the bread. I just wished there were more variety to choose from. That's how my morning went.

This day was an evening party after a nearby meeting. The dinner party was also a farewell party for a senior who has been leading the industry as a board member for many years. It was the first industry dinner party in a long time since the end of the pandemic, and all the participants enjoyed it together.

During my trip to Fukuoka, I stayed at a hotel where I had the option to choose from a variety of breakfast options, including a traditional Japanese set meal. However, since I was traveling with children, we decided to go with the buffet. The food was delicious and the overall atmosphere of the hotel exuded a sense of luxury. It was a delightful experience to enjoy a hotel morning buffet after a long time. The freshly made omelettes by the professionals were especially delicious.

I stayed at Hotel New Otani Hakata for 3 nights and had all my dinners through room service. The prices for room service were relatively reasonable. On the first day, I had tempura and my daughter had pork cutlet. The taste was excellent, but the portion felt a bit small. On the second day, I tried the popular beef pilaf which was really delicious with plenty of beef. However, the fried chicken was surprisingly tough and not tasty at all. I cannot recommend it. On the third day, I had shrimp fried rice, mixed vegetable yakisoba, spring rolls, and dumplings, all of which were delicious. A great hit! The mixed vegetable yakisoba was especially my favorite. Room service was a great option when I was too tired to dine out.

Green House [Hotel New Otani Hakata] The other day, I went to New Otani Hakata with Kameyo-san (@moshimoshi.kameyo) and ordered the "Freshly Squeezed Ice Mont Blanc" and the "Super Mont Blanc." For the "Freshly Squeezed Ice Mont Blanc," I chose the Chef's recommended "Milk Gelato" from three flavors (vanilla, milk, matcha). It was a milk-flavored gelato that was rich but not heavy, topped with a generous amount of silky smooth chestnut paste. The chestnut paste is a blend of chestnuts from Kumamoto and Italy. As for the "Super Mont Blanc," it was surprisingly large with a lot of chestnut paste. Inside, it had matcha ganache, black honey yokan, caramel cream, soy milk Basque dough, and candied chestnuts. Since it was New Year's Day, I treated myself to a luxurious breakfast buffet at a historic hotel. I am a disabled person using crutches, and the staff kindly assisted me in getting food. It was the first time I have been treated so kindly. I was deeply moved. The food was also delicious. Thank you for the meal. If I ever come back to Fukuoka, I would definitely like to stay here again.

The room and building showed signs of aging, but the service was top-notch. It's no wonder it's the Okinawa Hotel. The room was also clean. The bed was neatly made. The breakfast was average, neither good nor bad. The variety of omelettes available (cheese, mentaiko, Hakata green onions) was a nice touch.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the banquet was set up with a round table for 4 people, allowing for a comfortable distance between each group. It was a pleasure to enjoy a meal in a hotel banquet hall after a long time.

I have used this restaurant for meals before, but this was my first time staying overnight. For breakfast, I had a set of scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, along with rice and miso soup brought by the staff. Other items like salad, fruits, and drinks were self-served in a buffet style. Using GOTO Travel, I stayed at Hotel New Otani! It has been over thirty years since my parents stayed there for their wedding, so we decided to stay there again for my mother's birthday! This was my first time staying at a hotel in Fukuoka city, and it was a completely different experience from the business hotels I usually stay at. The service was top-notch, as expected from a luxury hotel. After a relaxing night's sleep, it was time for breakfast! Due to COVID-19, the buffet style breakfast was canceled and instead, we could choose between Japanese and Western breakfast options. The Japanese breakfast included grilled fish, tamagoyaki, wiener sausages, and mentaiko, while the Western breakfast had fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The food tasted the same as usual, but the atmosphere made it feel extra special and delicious. It was a rare treat to enjoy a leisurely and elegant breakfast. However, it felt a bit lonely without the buffet spread. I look forward to staying again when the pandemic is over and enjoying the full buffet breakfast experience. Time to start saving money!

Super Mont Blanc and Super Melon Shortcake are both super expensive! But are they super delicious too?! Super Mont Blanc is first of all, very big! The taste is faithful to chestnut, without any weird sweetness. It really captures the taste of a small chestnut when you scoop it with a spoon. I wonder how they make it taste so much like a real chestnut. Inside, there are Uji matcha and caramel sauce, showing a lot of attention to detail. But because of its size, I ended up feeling like a food fighter towards the end. It would be nice if they had a smaller size for half the price. Super Melon Shortcake has a very elegant taste. The fresh cream is not too rich and very delicious. The melon, of course, is delicious as well. The sponge cake is light and has a nice texture. It's simple but harmonious, with a refined deliciousness. It's calming. It was delicious, but whether it matches the super high price is debatable. Because of the super high price, you might feel satisfied after trying it once. Overall, it was enjoyable.

Hotel breakfasts are often just average, but the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) served at the New Otani in Hakata was amazing. They served a generous amount of mentaiko that was a perfect match for the rice. The omelette was also filled with plenty of mentaiko for a delightful texture! The udon had a refreshing touch with yuzu and wasabi. Japanese breakfasts are truly wonderful. Oh, and the croissant was delicious too!

This is a city hotel representing Fukuoka located on Watanabe Street. I attended a meeting held here on this day, and had lunch with a bento-style Japanese meal served in the banquet hall. The meal served on this day was a luxurious bento box with a variety of delicious items to enjoy a little bit of each. It included seafood delicacies and seasonal mountain delights. Alongside the bento box were rice and miso soup. The chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard) was also elegant and tasty, so I saved it for the end since it was piping hot. I had breakfast at the New Otani buffet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and satisfying. I was happy to be able to eat the famous white omelette at New Otani. When you order, they make it for you at the live kitchen and you can customize the toppings. I chose green onions, cheese, and mentaiko as toppings. The cheese melted inside was so creamy, the mentaiko added a great flavor, and the eggs were so soft and gooey. It was a heavenly delicious combination of eggs, mentaiko, and cheese. The buffet is small and doesn't have a huge variety, so it's just the right size to be satisfied with about 80% full. In Tokyo's New Otani, you tend to overeat, so this was a perfect buffet.

This is a review of the first year of Reiwa, but it's a dark banquet in a certain industry. I am in charge of the banquet department, responsible for menu selection, venue setup, and pre-meeting arrangements. This time, we changed from the unpopular Chinese food to Western food, and the chefs are quite serious about their work. The standing buffet style made it difficult to eat a lot, but the sushi was excellent, as expected from Hotel New Otani. We had beer, highballs, and shochu for drinks, but no sake. The curry at the end was also delicious! After the banquet, we had the usual debriefing session with the company representatives, enjoying a fun time together.

At New Otani Saga, I tried the morning buffet thinking they would have hotel curry like they did in Hakata, but there was no hotel curry. And on top of that, it was 2900 yen with limited content and a focus on white omelettes!? Apart from freshly squeezed orange juice and white omelettes, there was nothing impressive. It's disappointing that the breakfast at New Otani in Kyushu is all so lacking in content.

In Fukuoka city, the New Otani Hotel is a high-class hotel in the city center! It is quite impressive compared to regular hotels. I used it for a company party as a reward. I have used it about twice. We also rotated between Hotel Okura in Nakasu Kawabata and Hotel Nikko in front of Hakata Station. It was the end of 2021, and looking back, I feel that it was great to be able to have such parties and have fun with a large group of people. The food was also good. Individual serving of dishes tends to be limited for large groups. Appetizers, soup, fish dishes, meat dishes, and dessert were satisfying! All three hotels mentioned above are wonderful. The set meal on the 14th floor was delicious, but the buffet on the 1st floor was also tasty and you can drink coffee there. I think breakfast is better on the 1st floor. However, the view on the 14th floor was great.

I forgot to take a photo of the hors d'oeuvres. We had a classic full course meal at a traditional year-end party venue. We toasted with champagne on this day! The wine was also delicious.
