I went to Daruma for kushikatsu, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. There was a decent line, but we were able to get in without waiting for 30 minutes. I ordered the Tsutenkaku set, but I also wanted to try other kushikatsu that were not included in the set, so I ended up adding them and the price went up. The kushikatsu, all of which were from the original place, were delicious and went well with alcohol. My personal favorites were the mozzarella cheese, pickled ginger, and shishamo. I would like to go back again.

On a weekday around 2 pm, we chose this kushikatsu restaurant, Daruma, located in various places. Since my grandchild was visiting, we decided to stop by this one in front of Tsutenkaku before the Hanshin Tigers game at the Kyocera Dome. There are plenty of coin parking lots nearby, making it easy to reach by car. It was 2 pm, so there was no line, luckily, we were seated at one of the four tables in the back. We ordered drinks first, then placed our orders through a QR code on our smartphones, which was very convenient and easy. After a while, the kushikatsu we ordered was served in a basket. For those who want to double-dip, you can order extra sauce. The basic way is to pour the sauce over the kushikatsu, which was clean and reassuring. The mentaiko kushikatsu was large and delicious for its price. You can't miss the pickled ginger, and the breadcrumbs were fine and tasty. The tsukune was not too thick and had a light but flavorful taste. There are two restrooms in the restaurant, and they accept various cashless payments. We enjoyed a lot with four people and spent around 8000 yen, without alcohol, only soft drinks. This time, we paid with Rakuten Pay, then left the restaurant to visit Tsutenkaku. Thank you for the meal! \(゜ロ\)(/ロ゜)/

After several years, I went to a classic Osaka kushikatsu restaurant called Kushikatsu Daruma with some old friends. They offer a party course menu even during the day, which was convenient for us. However, one thing that was a bit disappointing was that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they no longer had the system of double dipping the sauce, and instead, they provided sauce in bottles. The pieces of kushikatsu were a bit small, so those looking for a larger portion might find it lacking, but for a light meal, it was just right. Overall, if you're looking to eat kushikatsu, Daruma is the best choice in Osaka.

Kushikatsu Daruma. A famous restaurant among tourists. The Kita-Shinchi branch seems relatively easy to get into. The cabbage is charged separately at 110 yen. The portion is so big that one person can't finish it. The sauce that prohibits double-dipping is ordered separately for 264 yen. I ordered it because it's worth it. Eating kushikatsu with the sauce that prohibits double-dipping is the best choice.

The taste is like regular kushikatsu, skewered cutlets. Each ingredient is solid and delicious. It's more delicious than all-you-can-eat kushikatsu, but not as satisfying as creative kushikatsu restaurants. Daruma may not be available for reservations, and even if you can reserve, the place may be small. However, this place is a hidden gem.

It was my day off, so I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It seemed like ordering a course was a must when making a reservation, so I went for the 9-piece course. It had been a while since I last had it, but the tempura was still crispy and the batter and ingredients were perfectly integrated. The shrimp in particular was plump and delicious! I ended up ordering a few more pieces and left feeling full and satisfied.

In Osaka, there are many kushikatsu restaurants, and one of the famous ones is Kushikatsu Daruma. Tonight, I was wondering where to go, and happened to stop by this place. To my surprise, there was a sign with HYDE from L'Arc〜en〜Ciel. Of course, there were also signs of other famous artists displayed. It turns out they are here for a live concert in Osaka. This might be a lucky coincidence for a fan like me. Although it may sound a bit disrespectful, why is fried food always so delicious and makes us overeat? After enjoying the concert, I am worried about my growth the next day. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Kitashinchi, it's Daruma Kushikatsu! I'm sure everyone has heard of this place at least once. Even as an Osaka amateur, I've heard of it. My stomach is really empty, but if I eat now, what about dinner... Oh well, let's eat! Haha. So, Daruma Kushikatsu. It's famous for the rule of no double dipping. They have a system where you buy the sauce. I felt like the original was stolen by Corona. But I regained my composure and ordered Doteyaki and a Kushikatsu assortment. The sweet and delicious Doteyaki was a delight. The fried food was all easy to eat without being too greasy. But in the end, I was stuffed before dinner. Thank you for the meal.

It was mentioned that it seemed relatively empty, but we ended up waiting for an hour... Perhaps due to Golden Week, there was quite a long line, but the turnover was quite fast. The mochi with bacon and cheese was especially amazing. Orders could be placed smoothly by accessing the QR code provided after being seated.

It's been a while since I visited Daruma Kitashinchi. Despite being located in Kitashinchi, it is a very reasonable restaurant. The cabbage in the image is still free. All the skewers are fresh and delicious. This time, I tried the Kitashinchi course with natural shrimp, scallops, domestic black wagyu beef, and shishamo with roe, all of which were tasty skewers. The restaurant is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station exit, making it a great location in Daruma Building. It's about a one-meter taxi ride from Umeda Station.

"The selling point was 'no double dipping', but the system is set up in a way that double dipping is not possible, so the selling point cannot be used, which is a bit disappointing. Both the restaurant and the customers may feel the same way. The Osaka Castle set. It has nothing to do with Osaka Castle, but no one seems to object to that. The drawback of kushikatsu is that no matter what you take a photo of, it all looks the same. The only thing that looks different is maybe the mochi. Such circumstances have nothing to do with kushikatsu, though. It was a night where I truly felt the three elements of being cheap, delicious, and fast without doubting them for a long time. [Osaka Castle Set] Original kushikatsu: natural shrimp, quail, mochi, asparagus, kabocha, lotus root, pork cutlet, tsukune"

I stayed at this hotel's branch instead of the main store. I expected it to be quite crowded, but maybe because it was Sunday night or due to the location, we were seated at the counter right away. I heard that cabbage is now provided for a fee due to SDGS. The kushikatsu was delicious!

In mid-April, after a long meeting during a business trip to Osaka, we headed to "Daruma" as reserved by our team members from the west. Splitting into several taxis, we made our way to "Kushikatsu Daruma Kitashinchi" Go Go! The pre-booked course included 12 types of kushikatsu with all-you-can-drink for 5,000 yen. While there are many kushikatsu specialty shops in Tokyo, I rarely visit them. However, kushikatsu in Osaka is exceptionally delicious. The shrimp, pork, and squid were all too tasty (laughs). Remember, no double-dipping! ●Specialty Dote-yaki ●Satisfying 12 types of kushikatsu course Barley Daruma Minister on the rocks・With water・With soda・With hot water Whiskey (Kaku)/Highball・Whiskey and Coke・Whiskey and Ginger・Plum wine on the rocks・With water・With hot water・With soda・With ginger ale Cocktails/Cassis orange・Cassis oolong・Cassis soda Fuzzy navel・Peach oolong・Peach fizz Shandygaff・Moscow mule・Screwdriver Glass wine/Carlo Rossi red・white Soft drinks/Oolong tea・Cola Orange juice・Calpis Ginger ale

Osaka's famous kushikatsu restaurant, "Daruma," is a must-visit. I lined up five minutes before lunchtime and was the first to enter. It quickly filled up with customers, showing its popularity. They use the trendy method of ordering via QR code scan from your phone. Everything was delicious and satisfying. I would love to visit again when I go back to Osaka. The staff were also very friendly.

Visited for dinner on a small trip with my wife. We arrived a little after 4 pm to avoid the evening crowd of drinkers. As expected, we were the only customers at that time, enjoying a private dining experience. I ordered the Tsutenkaku Set and my wife ordered the Osaka Castle Set. The skewers were served in three rounds, and the sauce was poured over them, possibly due to the impact of the coronavirus. Each skewer had a decent portion size and the flavors of the ingredients were delicious. The option of adding edamame and simmered vegetables to the set was perfect for my wife, who was enjoying her beer. We noticed that cabbage was an additional charge, so we ordered some extra. The simple cabbage for a palate cleanser was surprisingly tasty. Feeling a bit more hungry, we added a cheese and premium meat set. Although it came with various skewers, none of them particularly stood out. We had one draft beer and one oolong tea for drinks. The total bill for the two of us was just over 3,000 yen, showing excellent value for money. By the time we left, the restaurant had started to fill up with more customers.

The only enjoyable part of the Osaka conference, which forces mental anguish, is the meal with three people after the conference. I left it to my former boss, who sent me two restaurant options via LINE the day before. We decided on Daruma, a place I had visited a long time ago. I don't remember where I had eaten before, but this was my second time. A4 premium black wagyu, Iberico pork, original kushikatsu, pork cutlet, top harami, beef tongue meatball, ground sausage, chicken breast with yuzu pepper, natural shrimp, asparagus, mozzarella cheese, quail egg, chicken skin. It's affordable and reasonably delicious, so I'm satisfied. Overall, Daruma these days is more about drizzling than marinating, how times have changed. Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable time with the three of us. I want to cherish this time with the three of us.

【Date】Visited on Sunday at 12:00 with 7 people (including 2 children).【Reservation】Made a reservation online. There are plenty of seats, so you can probably get in without a reservation.【Location】About a 2-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station. If you're up for it, within walking distance from Umeda Station as well.【Interior】Counter and table seating available. Spacious table seating on the 2nd floor.【Order】Chose the Osaka Castle Set. The set includes: - Original kushikatsu - Mochi - Asparagus - Quail eggs - Natural shrimp - Lotus root - Chicken tsukune - Pumpkin - Pork katsu Plus a Speed Menu item (choose from doteyaki, kimchi, edamame, cucumber). The kushikatsu was served quickly, even before the Speed Menu item. It was nice to have a quick lunch. Since we had a large group, we ordered all the Speed Menu items to share. The doteyaki was rich and delicious, perfect for pairing with drinks. The kushikatsu had a light batter and the sauce was light, so we could easily finish everything! We also ordered additional items like mozzarella cheese and ham katsu. It was a feast! Thank you for the meal! By the way, the sauce is the type that you pour over the kushikatsu, not dip into. Maybe it changed due to the pandemic?【Service】The staff were efficient and friendly.【Final Thoughts】The kushikatsu had a light batter and the sauce was light! I recommend adding extra skewers to the Osaka Castle Set!

On the last day of the consecutive holidays, I arrived in Osaka around noon and was very hungry. I wanted to have some delicious kushikatsu, so I decided to walk a bit to Kitashinchi instead of going to the crowded Umeda branch of Daruma. When I got there, I found out that the first and second floors were for regular Daruma kushikatsu, while the third floor was for a special Daruma flavor. I opted for the regular Daruma kushikatsu at a table that luckily became available. I ordered: - Daruma Highball (539 yen) - Assorted Cheese Platter (1,560 yen for 3 sticks) - Asparagus (120 yen) - Quail Egg (120 yen) - Lotus Root (120 yen) - Squid (130 yen) - Smelt Fish (130 yen) - Various kushikatsu (130 yen each) The kushikatsu had a delicate and crispy batter, unlike the usual ones that can sometimes hurt your mouth when you bite into them. It was delicious with or without sauce. The cheese platter with Camembert, Mozzarella, and Gouda cheese was recommended and melted in a mouthwatering way. However, I should have saved it for last as I got full sooner than expected. The seafood and vegetable kushikatsu were enjoyable, and I recommend starting with those first. I arrived just after 12:30 pm and soon after, a line started forming. I'm glad I came early as everything I tried was delicious.

I came to Osaka on a business trip. During lunchtime, I was worried about the last order time. While exploring a restaurant near my workplace, I saw the words "Osaka specialty." I immediately went inside and ordered the lunch set "Wa." It came with 5 skewers and a cup of coffee for dessert. The fried food was... a taste that younger people would enjoy. It was nice that it came with a raw egg for TKG (rice with raw egg). Thank you for the meal! ^_^

One of the famous restaurants in Osaka known for its kushikatsu is Daruma. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the sauce for double dipping is still not available, but the kushikatsu is delicious, with each skewer fried crispy. The basic kushikatsu and pork cutlet are reliable choices. Don't miss out on the shrimp and pickled ginger skewers.

Visited at 6 o'clock on Saturday and was guided to the second floor. It was still early so there were plenty of empty seats. The cost performance of the skewers is good, but the price of alcohol is high. The way of eating has changed to a system where you take your desired amount of sauce from a bottle since the sauce container has run out, which is understandable in this day and age but lacks some charm. Original skewers cost 143 yen each and have a consistently good taste with good cost performance. The natural shrimp costs 286 yen and is truly delicious. The eel costs 264 yen and is large and tasty. The pickled ginger costs 132 yen and is large with a strong spicy flavor. The doteyaki costs 350 yen and is an Osaka specialty with tender hormone meat. The beer (Master Dream) costs 715 yen and has fine bubbles and a good aroma, but is quite pricey despite the small serving size. The highball (Chita) costs 660 yen and is served in a small glass, with no strong taste but is delicious.
