I think it's been about 10 years since I last went to a mixer. I believe this restaurant has been around for a long time since before that. I forgot to take photos of the food, but I remember it being delicious. The island hot pepper dumplings were tasty! And I think they also had island pickled radish tempura. Finally, I asked for a recommendation and tried the fried squid legs, which were indeed delicious! The batter was sweet! And I got a coupon for mango sherbet from eating log, which was also delicious. Thank you very much.

I made a reservation and visited in the evening. The restaurant was fully booked with both counter seats and sunken kotatsu seats available. The sunken kotatsu area is separated by sudare screens, so voices carry but the distance between tables is not a concern. I ordered from the menu on a tablet, but unfortunately, the sea grapes were sold out. However, I was able to enjoy dishes like Rafute, Goya Champuru, Carrot Slices, and Mozuku Tempura. In addition to Okinawan cuisine, they also offer items like yakitori. The Carrot Slices were quite delicious, with a good combination of tuna and carrots. The Mozuku Tempura was a bit overcooked or had bad oil, resulting in a strong bitter taste and was not very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively, but they don't emphasize the Okinawan feel too much, so it can also be enjoyed as a regular izakaya. It's a casual and enjoyable place to visit.

First time in Kurume! Visited to meet a friend who lives in Kurume. Took a stroll in the city of Kurume at night. The restaurant that was reserved for us was here. At first, when I heard about the restaurant, I thought, "Oh, it's Okinawan cuisine, I wish it was more Kurume-like (like yakitori)..." but I felt ashamed of myself for thinking that. The restaurant had a variety of yakitori as well! And you can also enjoy Okinawan cuisine. The pig's feet, which is commonly eaten in Okinawa, was cooked until tender and then grilled over charcoal until crispy on the outside, it was so delicious. It's a hybrid izakaya of Okinawa and Kurume! Every skewer was perfectly grilled! The staff was also energetic!! The service was pleasant and made us feel comfortable. Thank you for the meal!

- Sea Grape Salad: Refreshing with the crunchy texture of sea grapes and a dressing made with shiso leaves. - Island Chili Dumplings: Dumplings with a spicy kick from chili peppers. - Braised Pork Belly: The meat and fat are both tender. - Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce: Silky tofu with a sweet and creamy peanut sauce. - Awamori: Easy to drink with a low alcohol content of 10%, flavored with yuzu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy with dim lighting and a lively ambiance.

Today, I am in Kurume in December 2015. At this time of year, there are many year-end parties. It's been a while since I came here, but it's crowded and lively. As for the food... Orion beer... I haven't had it in a while. Pork belly... quite oily... those who like it may enjoy it. Chicken neck... simply delicious. Chicken skin... crispy and tasty (a bit more salt might be good). This restaurant is really busy. I had a delicious meal today. Thank you.

This is a restaurant that my friend chose for our drinking party! I'm not familiar with this area, but it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nishitetsu Kurume Station. The Okinawan soba here was delicious! It's a type of noodle that's hard to categorize as udon or ramen, but it has a firm texture and is smooth. It was enjoyed with a gentle flavored broth. The bone-in pork inside was very juicy. The kamaboko had a cute Okinawan Shisa face. It happened to be someone's birthday that day, and the staff played the sanshin and performed a dance for them. There was lively conversation in Okinawan language, making it a fun and enjoyable time. I was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the entertainment. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a restaurant called "Kizuna" with a friend for drinks. It's located about a 5-minute walk from the station. We enjoyed delicious Okinawan food and drinks there. When we sat at the counter, there were rows of awamori bottles in front of us! The staff recommended a suitable awamori from the many varieties available. The glass they served it in was made of Okinawan glass, cute and colorful. We ordered a sea grape salad and mozuku tempura. I wish I had more space in my stomach to try the soki soba and champuru too! The highlight of the night was when the owner played the sanshin. It was a surprise birthday celebration with everyone having a great time. It was so much fun!

I first visited this restaurant over a year ago, and I have been going quite frequently since then. The atmosphere of the restaurant doesn't particularly have a Okinawa vibe, but the staff singing and playing the sanshin is a nice touch. I recommend dishes other than "Okinawan cuisine" as they are more enjoyable. If I were to give a critical review, the Okinawan dishes are somewhat mediocre... but the non-Okinawan menu items are delicious. I always make sure to order the pig's feet, which are tasty! It's filling, but surprisingly, the mochi pizza is also addictive. This popular restaurant is planning to open a second branch nearby soon, so I recommend making a reservation.
