Visit time: 12:10 on a weekday Wait time: None Menu: Salt ramen, fried rice set for 750 yen A Chinese restaurant where you can eat a lot and get full. I ordered the usual salt ramen and fried rice set. It's amazing that they still offer it for 750 yen. I will definitely come back to eat again. Thank you for the meal.

About 7 minutes from Tamagochi Yonchome Station on the Osaka Metro Tamagochi Line, there is a Chinese restaurant or izakaya in town. I ordered the sweet and sour meatball set meal for 700 yen, which came with mapo tofu, rice, soup, and pickles. Another option was the shrimp chili set meal with fried shrimp for 700 yen. Most people seemed to choose the shrimp chili, but I wanted to try the sweet and sour meatballs. However, when the meal arrived after about 10 minutes, I noticed that the meatballs seemed to be made from a commercial frozen or refrigerated product, more like a processed food than actual meatballs. The mapo tofu that came later was delicious with a strong flavor of sansho pepper. The soup was egg drop soup and the pickles were chopped Chinese cabbage. Unfortunately, the restaurant allowed smoking in all seats, which was uncomfortable for non-smokers like me. Some customers left due to the smoke. I wish they would make it non-smoking at least during lunchtime.

A fast-paced Osaka-style restaurant. They offer a variety of Chinese dishes like shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, and mixed vegetables, as well as ramen, rice bowls, and fried rice. They have a lunch special with choices like Chinese rice bowl, mapo tofu rice bowl, or Tianjin rice bowl with soy sauce ramen for 850 yen, which seems to be a popular option. I ordered the mapo tofu rice bowl. The restaurant is spacious but quickly fills up during lunchtime. The waitstaff are very busy serving customers. The food arrived promptly after ordering. The authentic Cantonese cuisine was delicious. They offer complimentary iced coffee on the table (maybe only during lunchtime) and smoking is allowed, which is convenient for smokers. However, once you finish eating, the dishes are quickly cleared away due to the long line of customers, so there's not much time to relax after the meal. It's perfect for busy office workers with limited time.

At all-you-can-eat and drink for 3300 yen, it's common to be served a large amount of fried food at the beginning and have a limited menu to order from. However, this place exceeded my expectations in a good way. The staff were lively and fun, making it a recommended restaurant.

When passing by the store, I found a notice for their 9th anniversary event, with draft beer priced at 200 yen. Upon seeing that, I couldn't resist going in. I started with the usual "draft beer set" for 1200 yen. Even though draft beer is only 200 yen during the event, the set should still be a better deal, right? The draft beer was Kirin Ichiban Shibori. Maybe I tried too hard? I might need to rethink my choices. Another round of draft beer should be enough for tonight. Actually, this is the second stop for me at this store... I'm planning to go to another one later... Of course, I'm alone again tonight, as always. The dumplings are as delicious as ever. I wonder why they are so good? The way they are grilled is outstanding. The juicy meat inside the dumplings is so delicious. Fried chicken is a first for me at this store. It's crispy with a seasoned coating, similar to fried chicken. The juicy chicken meat is well-preserved, and most importantly, there is no unpleasant smell. It seems like this store is good at making fried chicken too.

Visit Date: 12:20 on a weekday (rainy) Wait Time: None Menu: Salt Ramen & Fried Rice Thoughts: It's been over a year since my last visit. This shop used to be known for its large portions, but the amount of fried rice has clearly decreased. It seems that the impact of limiting the number of customers due to COVID-19 is showing here as well. The taste is still delicious as before, and they have taken away the gold sticker for infection prevention measures. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

It's Bon Festival season now, and many places around the office are closed. I decided to take a little walk since it's lightly raining and not too hot. Pon Yu-san and Kikichi-san, enjoy your Bon holidays! I decided to stop by a Chinese restaurant thinking it would be fine. I ordered soy sauce ramen and Tianjin rice for 770 yen. A colleague ordered Mapo Don before me and it looked really generous. My Tianjin rice arrived, and it seems like a manageable amount. Then came the ramen, but the flavor was a bit lacking. Still, for the price, I'm satisfied. There were two waitresses who communicated in Chinese, which was nice. It reminded me of Nanhai Restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited "Bisho" for a Chinese meal exploration in the vicinity of Tanimachi 4-chome. The location is around Tanimachi 4-chome and Sakaisuji Hommachi. I arrived at 1:00 PM and checked the menu board placed outside the restaurant. I used the hand sanitizer placed near the entrance and entered the spacious interior of the restaurant, where about half of the seats were occupied by customers. I sat at a 6-seater table and ordered the "Miso Ramen and Half Fried Rice Set (850 yen)" along with an iced coffee. The food was served quickly, in about 5 minutes. The miso ramen was topped with pork, shrimp, squid, wood ear mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, carrots, onions, bean sprouts, garlic chives, leeks, and green onions. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles in a pork bone-based miso broth, with a moderate amount of oil and a lightly salty taste, making it easy to eat. The generous amount of toppings made it quite filling. The half fried rice had a slightly curry-like flavor and a dry texture, with a mild seasoning. Overall, the portions were ample and satisfying, but the flavors were a bit mild, leaving a slight feeling of wanting more flavor. Towards the end of the meal, a female staff member brought me the iced coffee. The restaurant offers various set meals with coffee included, and there are condiments like pepper, chili pepper, chili oil, Japanese mustard, and vinegar on the tables. The restaurant has a TV and 10 tables (4 to 8 seats each), with hand sanitizer available on each table. Even after 1:00 PM, there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out, with over half of the seats occupied at all times. The front and kitchen staff, numbering about 6 people, seemed busy managing the bustling restaurant.

Today I felt like eating mapo tofu, so I decided to have Chinese for lunch. The lunch menu had a variety of options, but I ordered the mapo tofu set meal (720 yen). Most sets come with a main dish and two pieces of fried chicken. You can also get extra rice, which is great. The mapo tofu arrived pretty quickly, with a rich color. It was sweet at first, followed by a subtle hint of spices. The flavor was rich, but not very spicy. I added some chili oil from the table to adjust the flavor. Even then, it was still sweet and rich. The fried chicken was decently sized, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The soup had a very mild flavor and a slight thickness. It was nice to have complimentary coffee after the meal. As someone who likes spicy and authentic mapo tofu, I would definitely consider trying a different main dish next time!

It was a holiday on July 23rd, and I didn't realize it until I got to Kitahama. Oh well, there were a lot of places closed. I decided to go to Tanishi instead, and they were open for business. Among the options, I chose this place for its generous Chinese dishes. Since it was a holiday, it wasn't crowded. I ordered the "sweet and sour pork set meal." I could hear the sizzling sound coming from the kitchen. It arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was huge with a large piece of fried chicken. The egg drop soup was light but tasty. I dug into the sweet and sour pork, and it was delicious with just the right amount of oyster sauce. I should have asked for a second helping of rice, but it was still satisfying. The large fried chicken had a crispy texture and a good amount of garlic flavor, which I liked. I finished my meal cleanly. Today's lunch came with iced coffee, and I was quite satisfied. The casual atmosphere here was great. Thank you for the meal. Today's Lunch: Sweet and Sour Pork Set Meal (daily special) - 700 yen

I saw a really delicious mapo tofu video on Instagram and couldn't resist coming to eat. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that there were hand sanitizers placed at each table and the doors were open for ventilation. The restaurant is taking solid measures against corona, which is reassuring. I ordered the draft beer set for 1,100 yen, which includes draft beer, gyoza, and a choice of one dish. Of course, I chose mapo tofu as my dish. The draft beer was Kirin Ichiban Shibori, which is rare for a Chinese restaurant and of high quality. The gyoza was juicy and elegant, with overflowing meat juices and perfectly crispy skin. The mapo tofu was rich and delicious, starting off sweet and becoming spicy later on, perfect with rice. It's a dangerous dish that also goes well with beer, so you can't let your guard down. The mapo tofu was served in a stone pot, staying hot and spicy until the end. It's the king of mapo tofu in the neighborhood Chinese restaurants. The spiciness is at a beginner level, suitable for both beginners and advanced spicy food lovers.

Today, I had a job at a site just a 5-minute walk from my home, so I took it easy in the morning. After finishing the job around lunchtime, I decided to have lunch with the craftsmen. When I asked them what they wanted to eat, they said they wanted something hearty and filling. So, we went to a Chinese restaurant called Misyo where you can eat all you want for 2,980 yen in the evening. They have a variety of lunch menus, and I chose the daily special, sweet and sour pork for 680 yen. The portion was huge, and the visual presentation was impressive. Along with the sweet and sour pork, there was a salad pasta with a mountain of noodles. The egg soup was light and tasty, but I added a bit of chili oil for more flavor. The sweet and sour pork was delicious with a tangy sauce, and I enjoyed it with the rice. However, the salad pasta and the noodles were bland, so I had to add vinegar and chili oil to make them more palatable. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and I would like to try other lunch menu items next time. Thank you for the meal.

If you have three or more people, there is an incredibly good deal at a restaurant called "Bisho" where you can enjoy over 80 dishes in 120 minutes all-you-can-eat, along with all-you-can-drink for 2,980 yen. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station. Unlike the usual course where you pay 2,980 yen for a set course and an additional 1,500 yen for all-you-can-drink, here you get both all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink for 2,980 yen, which is surprising. The interior of the restaurant is welcoming, with round rotating tables that are perfect for groups. The basic all-you-can-eat menu includes a variety of dishes, and you can order by menu name or number. If you find it hard to imagine the dishes by name, there are menus with pictures on the wall. In addition to the 2,980 yen all-you-can-eat option, there are also courses ranging from 4,000 yen to 6,000 yen, where you can order the 2,980 yen dishes as all-you-can-eat as well. With a 120-minute time limit, you can surely enjoy a satisfying meal with ease. The all-you-can-drink menu includes beer for toasting followed by ordering dishes. You can start with refreshing cold dishes like jellyfish vinegar, followed by stir-fried pork stomach with celery, and spicy cucumber. The menu also offers dishes like mapo tofu and corn stir-fry, which are all delicious. You can even request authentic or extra spicy mapo tofu. The restaurant also serves a variety of dishes like tempura squid, tomato and egg stir-fry, and corn stir-fry, all of which are tasty. Don't miss out on the seafood noodle soup and water dumplings. For dessert, you can enjoy almond tofu. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious dishes that will surely leave you satisfied. It's a great value for money, so be sure to give it a try!

I have been to this restaurant for banquets several times before, and each time I forget to take photos of the food and just enjoy the party...f^_^;) This time, I made up my mind to take photos and went to the banquet again. The course this time was a 120-minute all-you-can-eat and drink for ¥2980. I always end up eating and drinking too much in the first half of the banquet, feeling full after about 60 minutes, so this time I decided to pace myself as I entered the restaurant. Upon entering, there was already a group of over 20 people, a group of 7-8 men and women, and our group of 10 people, and as usual, the place was bustling! First, we ordered drinks, and a female staff member asked those who didn't want beer. Since most of us were starting with beer, I decided to order bottled beer as I thought draft beer might take longer due to the crowd, and we made a toast! When I looked at the menu thinking about the food, the female staff member said they would bring out a few dishes first, and then we could order more. The dishes they brought out were steamed chicken, fried chicken, chili shrimp, sweet and sour pork, and mapo tofu, all of which are popular dishes that often come up in order buffets! However, we ended up ordering the same dishes as the other table, which were grilled dumplings, boiled dumplings, shrimp mayo, and pork tempura, so it was quite a coincidence... We shared these dishes among the 5 people at my table, and although we started with beer, each of us ended up having apricot liqueur, Shaoxing wine, shochu, wine, and more, so we ended up eating and drinking too much again this time... Furthermore, once again, I didn't take a single photo of the food! But this restaurant serves delicious Chinese cuisine at a cheap price, so every time I visit, it turns into a lively banquet, so this time I had to accept it and left the restaurant. The ¥2980 all-you-can-eat and drink course was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

[Tanimachi 4 Lunch] A satisfying lunch with generous portions at "Bisho" I was looking to explore a Chinese lunch spot in Tanimachi 4-chome and came across an intriguing restaurant! I visited "Bisho," where you can enjoy Cantonese cuisine made by a chef from China. As I entered, there were table seats and a few round table seats in the back, giving off a typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere. The kitchen was bustling with lively conversations in Chinese. I was directed to a round table seat and decided to try the lunch set, which was reasonably priced and seemed to offer generous portions. Although the shrimp chili looked tempting, I opted for the mapo tofu lunch set this time. The lunch set included rice, soup, fried chicken, salad, and mapo tofu. The rice came in a sizable bowl, and the fried chicken was served in a large portion of two pieces. The light egg soup complemented the flavorful mapo tofu, which had a good balance of Sichuan pepper and chili spiciness. It was a satisfyingly spicy taste that went well with beer or rice. After the meal, coffee (hot/cold) was served, which was such a great deal for a lunch set! However, the portions were a bit too much for a woman like me, and I ended up leaving some food uneaten. By the time it was nearing noon, the restaurant was filling up quickly with office workers, indicating its popularity as a Chinese eatery. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a Chinese restaurant for the first time with my colleague. They had a wide variety of lunch and set menu options. Since it was my first visit, I chose the set menu with a variety of dishes, while my colleague opted for the shrimp tempura and mapo tofu set menu. The restaurant had several round tables lined up inside, and even though we arrived early, it quickly filled up with customers, indicating its popularity among office workers. I noticed that the regular customers used various terms when placing their orders. Our set menu arrived in a box, which included sweet and sour pork, pickled vegetables, macaroni salad, pickles, rice, and egg drop soup. The option for extra rice was available, and the taste and portion size of the food were both satisfying. Towards the end of our meal, we were also served iced coffee. Overall, it was a good experience. The total cost for the service set menu was $680, while the shrimp tempura and mapo tofu set menu cost $750. Our stomachs were full, and we left feeling satisfied. We will definitely visit again.

I always go for the full volume lunch ☀ On this day, I had the pork, leek, and bean sprout stir-fry set meal for 700 yen including tax. It's cheap and delicious~ but I tend to overeat, so I need about 20 minutes of rest after eating. Also, having coffee included after the meal is so delightful~ If you go after 1 pm, it's a bit less crowded.

We went to the restaurant with a group of 5 people and were seated at a table with a rotating platform. We ordered the Tianjin rice bowl with soy sauce ramen set. The food was neither delicious nor bad, but the restaurant is popular. The quick turnover and the fact that smoking is allowed may be contributing factors to its popularity.
