After drinking in Takasago, on the way back, there is a place called Benikia Carlton Hotel along Nisseki Street. The 1st floor is a café. The sign outside shows alcohol, but when I asked at the front desk, they said they only have coffee or juice. It seems the menu changes depending on the time of day. And you have to pay 200 yen at the front desk and then pour it from the machine next to it. Huh? Like a convenience store? Well, I had an okay coffee to slightly sober up. This is a cafe located on the first floor of the Benikea Carlton Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin, along Watanabe Street, by the Kiyokawa River. You can have breakfast here between 7:00-9:30. You pay 750 yen at the front desk before entering. I chose to sit at a table by the window facing the street to have breakfast. The breakfast here is a simple buffet style. I started with some Oolong tea from the drink bar, served in a paper cup. I topped my rice with mentaiko and seaweed. The breakfast buffet was a bit modest on this day, but I still grabbed two pieces of bread. Overall, it was a decent breakfast for hotel guests. I stayed in Fukuoka City. The accommodation is here. Just for sleeping. Breakfast can be added if you feel like it. Check-in is at 3pm. Be back by 3pm and get some rest. There is no Wi-Fi, only a wired LAN cable. You can borrow a phone charger at the front desk. It's the usual Gideon Society. There is a refrigerator but no vending machines. There is a Family Mart nearby. There is a Coco Ichibanya two doors down.
