At first glance, this shabu-shabu restaurant seemed a bit upscale. I assumed it would be expensive and hesitated to go inside, but upon closer inspection, I found out that the lunch menu was actually priced at 1000 yen or less, which is quite reasonable. I made plans to visit with a friend, and when we entered the restaurant for the first time, we were guided to a spacious and clean dining area. The interior was much larger than I had expected, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal without feeling cramped. There were a couple of tables near the entrance that could seat about 6 people each, as well as tables for 1 person, 2 people, and 4 people, accommodating various group sizes comfortably. We were seated at a 4-person table. We ordered the beef set meal for 920 yen and a hot coffee for 110 yen, totaling 1030 yen. The option for a larger portion was available for an additional 100 yen. The staff helped us start the shabu-shabu pot, and we then went to the vegetable buffet area. The vegetable selection included shiitake mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, seaweed, gluten, small round rice cakes, konjac, green onions, and more. I was particularly fond of the rice cakes, which were chewy and delicious. There were two types of dipping sauce provided - sesame sauce and ponzu sauce - both of which were generously refilled. The rice and soup that came with the meal were also satisfying, with the option for unlimited rice servings. The soup had a powdered base that we mixed with the shabu-shabu broth. The beef was tender and fresh, without any unpleasant odor. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly sweeter sesame sauce, but it was still creamy and tasty. The ponzu sauce paired well with the meat, creating a delicious combination. The vegetables were crisp and added a nice texture to the meal. After enjoying our meal, we drank coffee and felt completely relaxed. It was a wonderful dining experience.
