Before heading home, I decided to try the dessert I wanted to eat at "Fake Surprise Sweets." Last time I visited, they were running behind on preparing the items, and it would take 30 minutes for them to be ready, so I had to give up on that day. This time, I ordered the "Look-alike Cheese Soft Serve (¥800)." In the eat-in area, there are Tom and Jerry figurines placed. The mini cheesecake topping the soft serve ice cream looks just like the cheese from Tom and Jerry! When I checked the showcase, a whole cheesecake was priced at ¥2700, while a slice was ¥800. Obviously, it's not made with real cheese piled on top, because that would definitely not taste good, haha. The soft serve ice cream tastes like milk, and if I had to judge by appearance, it's similar to Moko Soft's. It has a refreshing flavor, and I heard they use Yotsuba's product, but it seems less rich and more light compared to theirs. Well, as long as it's delicious, that's all that matters! The cheesecake consists of layers of light rare cheesecake, creamy cheese, rich New York cheesecake, and cheese cookies. It has a bouncy texture, not solid like real cheese, more like a wobbly pudding. It resembles flan in other sweets, so if you can imagine that, it's good. Even though it looks very heavy, it's rich yet refreshing, with a smooth texture that contradicts its appearance! It may be more universally appealing and easy to eat, but with such a strong visual impact, they could consider boldly recreating the strong and rich taste of cheese. Well, this is more of a personal opinion than a preference. Under the cheesecake, there are Cheetos biscuits, haha. The soft serve and cheesecake flavors seep into it, losing its original buttery texture and becoming soft, but the combination of milk and cheese makes it surprisingly delicious, haha. It would be well received as a souvenir, and it's perfect for Instagram or sharing as a story. If I were to go back, I would try the tart or the drinkable bracken rice cake! Thank you for the meal.
