When I want to eat a lot at a cheap soba restaurant, I always go here. However, I heard that their point card service will be discontinued at the end of this month! Luckily, I had one card and got a 300 yen discount on my bill. The tempura was soft and delicious as always. But the dipping sauce for the soba was lukewarm. The soba noodles were slightly curly, which I like, but my wife didn't approve and that lowered our overall rating. If there's nothing special in that area, I might go back, but I might not go for a while.

After washing my car, I noticed that the restaurant across the street, Soba Kirari, had customers lining up even before it opened. Last time I tried to go there two months ago around 11:40 am, but couldn't even find parking and had to give up. This time, I finished washing my car around 11:05 am and moved to the parking lot of Kirari. Luckily, there were still a few parking spaces available, so I felt relieved and entered the restaurant. Even though it was just after opening, the seats were already filling up. I ordered the lunch katsu-don set (with options for extra rice and soba) and waited for about 20 minutes before it arrived. The portion size of the katsu-don and soba was impressive. The soba was served cold, perfect for the hot weather, and the broth was slightly on the richer side. The katsu-don also had a slightly rich flavor, which I personally enjoyed. Despite the large portions, the soba didn't overflow from the bowl, showing great portion control. The katsu-don was also filling and delicious. After finishing my meal in about 20 minutes, I left before the place got too crowded. The staff was friendly, and the interior was clean. Overall, it was a reasonably priced restaurant, especially during lunchtime. After returning home, I took a nap and then went shopping for laundry. It was a nice day.

I visited before noon and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, as it was peak hours. It took about 15 minutes to be served. The prices are cheap and the portion size is generous, which is why it's so popular. I ordered the chicken curry soba. The soba noodles seemed to have been boiled in advance, as they lacked firmness, but the curry was spicy and very delicious. It came with a bowl of rice, so I left feeling satisfied. I would like to visit again at a different time.

I visited Kirari for the first time in a year for lunch. The restaurant always seemed crowded whenever I passed by, so I tended to avoid it, but today was the first time I didn't see it so busy. When I passed by the restaurant on my way to another place today, I noticed that there was parking available, so I quickly decided to go in. During this season, the menu options other than the usual ones don't really appeal to me, so I ordered the usual chicken and vegetable tempura soba. I skipped the option for extra noodles or rice due to a lack of appetite from the summer heat. The food was served about 10 minutes after I placed my order! It looked delicious as always when it was brought to me! I took a bite of the soba with a bit of excitement, but today it was... a bit soft. Perhaps it was due to boiling a large amount and managing the lunch rush. The noodles lacked the usual firmness and my enthusiasm waned a bit. However, the fluffy and crispy chicken tempura was as delicious as ever. It might be better to come during a quieter time rather than the peak hours to enjoy Kirari's truly delicious soba.

Recently, the price of soba noodles has gone up. It seems that the producers are putting a lot of effort into providing delicious soba noodles by carefully selecting ingredients and broth. Despite the high price, there were many customers here during lunchtime, which was very pleasing. Cold soba noodles for 770 yen: The noodles were slightly thick and chewy, which I personally enjoyed. The portion was generous, which is probably why there were many salarymen here. It seems to be popular among local residents as well, as there were many people who looked like regulars. I enjoyed delicious soba noodles at a reasonable price. Thank you for the meal.

Neighborhood Series. Visited while taking a walk. Just after opening for Golden Week (11am), already 80% full of customers, and more continued to arrive, with the restaurant being full by 11:30am. Due to the previous owner running a curry restaurant, I was curious about the curry soba, but I'll save that for when it gets colder. I'm not really interested in going back a second time though. The dish I had was the chicken and vegetable tempura (warm) for 820 yen. The lunch menu included a free upgrade to a large portion of rice or soba, so I chose the soba. It hadn't been long since breakfast, but they say a man should eat three meals a day. The dish was served in less than 10 minutes, and the soba was buckwheat. I don't really like the strong flavor of buckwheat. The tempura included white fish, bell pepper, eggplant, sweet potato, and chicken. The green onions were served on a separate plate. It was delicious, both the tempura and the soba. The soba didn't have a strong buckwheat flavor. The set for 820 yen seems to be popular for a reason. The clientele is mostly elderly, with even taxi drivers bringing customers to this tasty restaurant. Despite being a soba shop, the interior has a Western style, with jazz music playing. The staff also have a Western style to them.

The tempura soba with extra noodles was priced at 1020 yen plus 110 yen + tax. The portion size was satisfying, the taste was great, and the service, as well as the waiting time, were not an issue. The soba could be eaten even in the large serving. The tempura was freshly fried, and the shrimp was plump. The soba tea was delicious, and overall, I felt a sense of stability and would like to try other items on the menu as well.

I visited before 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is always a line whenever I come, so I shifted my lunch time, but even at this time, there were 2 groups waiting. The restaurant is spacious and the turnover is good, so we were seated right away. I always order the pork curry set meal here. It comes in a bubbling pot with a curry that has just the right amount of spice, and you eat it with soba noodles. It's quite a generous portion. Rice is also included, and it's delicious to eat it at the end by adding it to the curry pot.

I used to feel that the soba noodles were too thick and rough, so I stayed away for a while. But when I visited again after a long time, I thought, "Oh? It's not as rough as I remembered?" The tempura is still delicious as always. Plus, the lunch set comes with free extra rice or soba noodles! The tempura set is only 790 yen (excluding tax), which is cheap! They are planning to raise prices soon, so if you prefer a large portion, you should go soon. Thank you for the meal! :)

On a day off, after visiting various shops and finding that it was getting late for dinner, I came across this place. I parked my car in the parking lot and headed to the restaurant. This place used to be a soup curry restaurant, managed by the same owner who now recommends curry soba. The entrance had a sign for curry soba, so I decided to try it. I was greeted by friendly staff inside, and I ordered the curry soba with chicken tempura. The curry soba was served in a hot pot over a solid fuel flame, with chicken and onions as toppings. The chicken was tender and delicious, and the curry itself was spicy and flavorful, with a good level of heat. Eating the soba and green onions together was really tasty. I also enjoyed dipping the crispy and juicy chicken tempura in the curry. Overall, the curry was delicious and satisfying. I would love to visit this place again in the future.

I tried the curry soba here for dinner and it was delicious! The restaurant is spacious with comfortable seating (and all non-smoking, which is great). The curry soba (chicken) arrived piping hot, almost like the one we had on a school trip dinner. It had large, juicy chunks of chicken that went really well with the rice. The soba itself had a nice flavor and texture, and was tasty even on its own. The curry had a thick consistency (like a stew) and had a surprising spicy kick that came later. Be careful, it's hot! The portion size was generous, perfect for big eaters. The chicken tempura was crispy and juicy, but a bit bland on its own, so dipping it in the curry or adding salt worked well. I wasn't sure about curry soba, but this place exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Wu-ta!

Pork curry ramen for 880 yen. There is a lot of pork which is delicious. Personally, I would be happier if there were a little more green onions. The spiciness is mild, and the curry is on the lighter side. Mini tempura chicken bowl for 330 yen. The chicken is very tender and delicious. At the table, there are disposable chopsticks, toothpicks, paper napkins, shichimi spice blend, rock salt, and soy sauce. When seated, you will be served water and a paper towel. The service is good.

When passing through the Shodoin-dori, I always noticed a busy restaurant with cars coming in and out. It seems to be a soba shop, but I never had the chance to visit due to the constant traffic. I finally visited on the weekend when I had some free time. The parking lot is located behind the shop and can accommodate nearly 10 cars, with many cars sporting red leaf stickers. It seems to be popular among the elderly. The interior of the shop feels a bit cramped, but it's manageable. I ordered the pork curry set. Looking at the menu, all the items seemed to offer good value, especially the set meals. It's understandable why it's popular among the elderly. The food arrived in about 10 minutes after I sat down. The portion seemed worth more than the 810 yen price. The soba had a nice texture, but I thought the curry could have been a bit richer to suit my taste. However, considering the customer base, this seasoning might be the best choice.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday before 1 pm and it was full, so I had to wait by signing in. It took about 10 minutes for someone to leave, and finally, I was led to a slightly dark but cozy area in the back. I decided to try the curry soba, which seemed to be the signature dish of the restaurant, priced at 891 yen. The dish arrived promptly, and as I dipped the soba noodles in the bubbling curry broth, the combination of curry spices and heat with the taste of the soba noodles felt a bit strange at first. However, as I continued eating, it started to taste delicious. Lastly, I mixed the rice into the curry broth to make a porridge, which was amazing. I was impressed by the satisfaction I got at this price point and I definitely want to come back again.

I visited before 12 o'clock on a weekday and it was already quite crowded (there was a line in front of the store when I left). I ordered a set of soba and chicken tempura rice bowl. The soba was quite delicious. The chicken tempura rice bowl had tender chicken breast and was tasty. It was quite filling, but I noticed that even some female customers were ordering large portions. A soba restaurant worth visiting regularly.

A casual soba restaurant where you can enjoy soba easily. The interior is spacious and welcoming for families with children. And the best part is the cost performance. You can get 4 pieces of Hokkaido chicken tempura, 1 vegetable tempura, and choose either rice or extra-large portion of cold soba for only 869 yen. The soba and dipping sauce are easy to eat for people of all ages, and the tempura is delicious with rock salt. This restaurant had a presence that went beyond just being a soba shop, with sake that pairs well, delicious side dishes, and a rustic and refined atmosphere.

Zaru soba lunch (with tororo rice) has increased in price a bit, right? I don't like fried food and it's hot, so the refreshing zaru soba lunch with tororo rice is quite satisfying. The tororo rice with soba sauce is delicious. It comes with a spoon, which makes it easy to eat. The noodles are thin and have a unique flavor with a subtle scent of soba. The soba sauce was a bit salty. I shared a bit of tororo with my soba. It was nice to have a refreshing meal on a hot day. The inside of the restaurant was comfortable with the air conditioning. It was popular that day, even when I tried to avoid peak hours, it was still crowded.

I visited a nearby soba restaurant that I had been curious about. I tried the Tori Yasai Tempura Zaru soba lunch menu, which was decent. I wish the noodles had a bit more firmness. The tempura zaru soba was reasonably priced, and you can even get a free large serving. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm and casual, which is nice.

It had been quite a while since my last visit, but I was looking forward to it in a way. As usual, even on a weekday at lunchtime, there was a wait due to its popularity. - Curry Soba (Chicken) 880 yen - Curry Seiro (Chicken) 891 yen The Curry Soba is a unique dish with egg and bamboo shoots. The broth is not a simple one with curry roux on top, but a solid soba broth fused with curry to create a sense of unity. While it is a traditional "soba shop curry soba," I think it would be interesting if they added more spices from different angles given the nature of this restaurant. The soba noodles are on the softer side, blending well with the warm broth. The Curry Seiro, compared to the Curry Soba, has a thicker consistency and slightly stronger flavor. It is clear that the standout feature of this restaurant is the hot Curry Seiro. Overall, the high cost performance of this place should also be recognized.

In July 2022, there is a soba restaurant located along the Shimo-Sapporo Street in Teine Ward. I was intrigued by their Curry Soba and decided to pay a visit. The interior of the restaurant is stylish, resembling a café. I promptly ordered the Curry Soba. The curry broth is heated using solid fuel, ensuring it stays piping hot until the end. The broth, with a Japanese dashi base, is light and not too spicy, which I personally enjoyed. The chicken breast in the dish is tender, juicy, and delicious. The soba noodles are on the softer side and come in generous portions, with a side of mini rice, leaving me fully satisfied. The fact that you can enjoy the hot broth until the last drop is quite appealing.

After a year and a half, I went to Kirari for lunch. It's been a while, but the place is still bustling as ever. Since it's been a while, I ordered my favorite dish, the Chicken and Vegetable Tempura Soba (large portion). When the dish arrived, I noticed that the portion of soba seemed a bit smaller. Also, the tempura in the Chicken and Vegetable Tempura Soba had reduced from 3 pieces to 2. Perhaps this is due to the rising cost of ingredients. The price didn't seem to change much, but the soba noodles still had the same chewiness and the flavor of the dipping sauce was just as delicious as before. Overall, I still left satisfied with a maximum level of satisfaction.
