Today's lunch was shrimp and small bamboo shoot pasta. I wonder if I can get full with one more type of bread. It also comes with an after drink. I spent a luxurious time, and when I went to the restroom, I was shocked. It was more fulfilling than any other hotel I've been to before.

I saw a flyer at home and thought, "Let's go out for lunch!" so I went to have lunch. It was my first time at Matsuboku-en Hotel, which I had heard was known for its delicious food. The lunch was held at a venue called "THE TERRACE" on the hotel grounds. It had the atmosphere of a wedding reception venue, and I felt like I was invited to a wedding while enjoying my meal. Surprisingly, there were quite a few people even on a weekday, and many seemed to have made reservations. I ordered the "Nagasaki Matou sea bream rosti and red cabbage marinated" for 1,450 yen. The price was a bit high for a lunch at a hotel, but the portion was larger than expected and it was delicious! It's not easy to find this kind of taste in a fish dish for lunch, so I think it's worth the price. I also had a taste of the beef stew, which was also delicious. It seems like a good place for an occasional luxurious lunch. Thank you for the feast!

Special feature to support restaurants - History of Hamano Godzilla ~ Everyday at that time ~ A friend's wedding was held at Matsuhaku-en Hotel. When I was living in Kitakyushu, there were many weddings at Bel Classic Yahata, but this time a classmate from Shimonoseki had a wedding in Kokura. While buses were arranged for people from Shimonoseki, I, living in Fukuoka, had to walk from Kokura Station. A few months after moving to Fukuoka, I was tired of the city life in Fukuoka. I thought Kokura Station was like Tobata, so I felt like Kitakyushu was a countryside compared to Fukuoka. Matsuhaku-en Hotel, to be honest, the MC was stumbling, and the beer was placed with the label facing the guests, but no one cared. The food was also mediocre. There was an episode in the drama "Wakako Sake" where a wedding was featured, and just like Wakako, I was more focused on eating and drinking rather than the bride and groom. Matsuhaku-en Hotel was disappointing. Moreover, everyone was taking a bus back to Shimonoseki, so there was no second party. Fortunately, I had a classmate in Koga, so we had a second party in Koga. Getting married leads to drifting apart from friends. The pandemic only worsened this situation. The only thing that connected us, our drinking parties, couldn't happen. Close friends don't say it (maybe they think it but can't say it?), but when Fukuoka is mentioned, they make a visibly unpleasant face. The cumulative number of infections in Yamaguchi Prefecture exceeded 1,000 last April. Fukuoka Prefecture had a record high of 432 cases in just about 3 days, easily surpassing 1,000, so it was inevitable.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my mom friends. I had heard good things about their beef stew lunch, so I decided to give it a try. The soup was creamy and delicious. The beef stew was piping hot, with tender and flavorful meat. Initially, we were wondering if it would be enough, but the portion was quite generous and we ended up feeling full. The restaurant is located in a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue, so the atmosphere was quiet and elegant. I would love to try their other lunch options in the future.

The Matsuboku-en Hotel in Kamitono, Kokurakita Ward, Villa Luce, for lunch. The melt-in-your-mouth beef stew made with Kyushu black wagyu beef is surprisingly tender. The soup served cold was also delicious. Coffee after the meal comes with chocolate. The "Melt-in-Your-Mouth Wagyu Beef Stew" lives up to its name with a creamy and bouncy texture. The demi-glace sauce has a hint of honey as a secret ingredient. I would love to taste this deep and flavorful beef stew again.

I used it at a relative's wedding. All the dishes that came out were delicious♥ - Assorted sashimi - Corn soup - Pie wrap - Wagyu beef stew - Dessert (Tiramisu & cake) The Wagyu beef stew had tender and melt-in-your-mouth meat! It disappeared quickly... The Tiramisu dessert was not too sweet and delicious♥ It also looked cute! Next time, I would like to go for lunch or cafe time. Thank you for the meal★*。

For me, who rarely has the chance to eat lunch outside of work, the "lunch passport" isn't really that great of a deal, but since I already bought it, I didn't want it to go to waste! So, I forced myself to go out and ended up here. I called about 15 minutes before arriving to confirm there was a seat available, and there was. The restaurant has a free parking lot, which is convenient. You enter through the front entrance of the hotel and the restaurant is located towards the left in the lounge area. The usual price for the "melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu beef stew set" is ¥1800 (tax included), but with the lunch passport, it was only ¥1000. That's almost the equivalent of one book discount, so it's worth using, I guess. The tables and chairs are a bit low, probably because it's usually used as a lounge. Not the most comfortable for eating. The service was quite prompt with appetizers, salad, and soup served quickly. The potage soup was delicious. The main beef stew had chunks of meat and had a luxurious taste, not like the stew made from a mix. It was filled with plenty of vegetables and was more filling than it looked. The dessert and coffee were also included, so I left feeling very satisfied. I didn't have much time and rushed through my meal, but I regret not being able to enjoy it leisurely while looking at the elegant Japanese garden. Even without the lunch passport, you can still have lunch starting from around ¥1000, so next time I'll try a different menu.

Ban Da (banda) Matsuboku-en Hotel's rampas is a place that many people are eager to visit, and I had made a reservation to go there. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name at the entrance of the restaurant. As I entered the restaurant, the magnificent garden caught my eye, and even on a cold day, I felt soothed by the flow of the four waterfalls, waiting calmly for my meal. The Grand Chef's special "Melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Stew Set" is priced at ¥1,800 (¥1,000 with the lunch passport). The salad with red turnips was visually appealing and delicious. The appetizer was a variety of ham, with the second from the left being minced beef from various parts, offering an interesting taste. The highlight of the day was the corn potage, which was incredibly tasty. The stew, simmered for 6 hours on a cold day, was piping hot, with the meat melting in your mouth. The beef used in this campaign is said to be high-quality domestic beef, and you can definitely taste the difference. The tomato in the stew did an excellent job enhancing the flavors. However, some may find the taste a bit too strong towards the end, affecting the rice. The hotel's cakes and coffee are always delicious, and the macarons and chocolate cake were no exception. It is recommended to make a reservation as many customers come specifically for the cakes and coffee. Unfortunately, the lunch set is only available on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays, only curry and sandwiches are offered due to weddings taking place. The beautiful garden provides a sense of peace and tranquility, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful meal at Lounge Band Da, despite battling with hay fever.
