Ban Da (banda) Matsuboku-en Hotel's rampas is a place that many people are eager to visit, and I had made a reservation to go there. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name at the entrance of the restaurant. As I entered the restaurant, the magnificent garden caught my eye, and even on a cold day, I felt soothed by the flow of the four waterfalls, waiting calmly for my meal.
The Grand Chef's special "Melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Stew Set" is priced at ¥1,800 (¥1,000 with the lunch passport). The salad with red turnips was visually appealing and delicious. The appetizer was a variety of ham, with the second from the left being minced beef from various parts, offering an interesting taste. The highlight of the day was the corn potage, which was incredibly tasty.
The stew, simmered for 6 hours on a cold day, was piping hot, with the meat melting in your mouth. The beef used in this campaign is said to be high-quality domestic beef, and you can definitely taste the difference. The tomato in the stew did an excellent job enhancing the flavors.
However, some may find the taste a bit too strong towards the end, affecting the rice. The hotel's cakes and coffee are always delicious, and the macarons and chocolate cake were no exception.
It is recommended to make a reservation as many customers come specifically for the cakes and coffee. Unfortunately, the lunch set is only available on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays, only curry and sandwiches are offered due to weddings taking place.
The beautiful garden provides a sense of peace and tranquility, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful meal at Lounge Band Da, despite battling with hay fever.
