Hello everyone who loves vegetables and loves to eat! (*・ω・)ノ Today's video and article feature a restaurant called Ten Sui Rou Shinjuku, where I visited for lunch on a weekday and it was not crowded. They offer a Vegan course that excludes the "gogan" (五葷) ingredients, which I explained in katakana but the staff seemed to have trouble understanding, so it might be better to use kanji to convey the message. The course costs ¥2,860 including tax, but it is a one-drink requirement.
I ordered an orange juice for ¥495, even though the lemon and orange water they served was refreshing enough. The appetizers included the famous Taiwan Number One Xiao Long Bao and vegetable-filled steamed dumplings, both of which were delicious. The soup was presented in a Tai Chi symbol, which was not only cool but also tasty. The red-cooked tofu was made without gogan ingredients, and the vegetable five-treasure fried rice was egg-free and flavorful.
For dessert, I had a white wood ear mushroom sweet soup with syrup-cooked mochi, which was beautifully presented and perfect for summer. Overall, the Vegan course was a delightful experience, and I recommend it for a leisurely meal with friends. The price is the same for dinner, making it a very reasonable option for a night out. Be sure to check out the YouTube video for a visual tour of the meal. Enjoy!

Lunch at Tensoan was a little luxury♡ The atmosphere was calm and comfortable as always. I sat by the window and it felt nice~ I ordered the Lunch Set D. ●Appetizer - Cabbage salad. A small dish but still delicious~! ●Pork Xiao Long Bao - These are just so delicious~♡ In my opinion, the best Xiao Long Bao in Shinjuku!! ●Fried Tofu with Vermicelli - Elegant vermicelli soup with a flavorful broth. The minced meat wrapped in tofu skin was also delicious. ●Scallion Pancake - Crispy on the outside, chewy inside, with a delicious scallion flavor spreading in the mouth~♬ ●Today's Dessert - Almond jelly. Creamy and rich, it melts in your mouth and is exquisite!! Just like last time, I am completely satisfied today♡ If it were a little cheaper, I would come more often... Thank you for the meal! (^O^)

First time having lunch at Ten Sui Ro. I had a seat by the window which was very pleasant! The atmosphere inside was relaxed with soothing music playing in the background.
I ordered the weekday lunch set C, which included:
- Appetizer (cabbage with spicy miso dressing): Even though it was just a small dish, it was well-prepared and delicious.
- Pork Xiao Long Bao (3 pieces): The skin was thick and chewy, filled with chunks of meat, and the soup inside was so flavorful.
- Pork and pickled mustard greens thin noodles: The noodles in a delicate broth were gentle and tasty. I slurped up every last drop!
- Scallion oil pancake: Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with a subtle green onion flavor. Delicious!
- Today's dessert: White wood ear mushrooms, loquat, lychee, and kumquat seeds soaked in syrup. A refreshing and elegant dessert.
I also had a little bit of draft beer. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food and service matched it. I may not be able to come here often, but I definitely want to visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited the restaurant on a holiday night. The place was empty! It seems like you can easily go without a reservation. The restaurant is quite spacious, with two floors. This time, I ordered a la carte. The jellyfish appetizer was really delicious. It had a sophisticated flavor, not too salty. I ordered regular xiaolongbao and a mixed plate. They were not very hot, a bit disappointing. There was some juice, but not too much. After comparing, I found that the regular xiaolongbao was the most delicious. The seasonal menu item, Cheng Bin, was really delicious! I highly recommend it! It's like Peking duck, with a nice peanut cream flavor. It's reasonably priced and really tasty. The spare ribs were tender and delicious! However, the portion is small, so it might be just right for two people. Overall, the portions are smaller compared to other Chinese restaurants, so be mindful of that. I don't usually eat Taiwanese cuisine, so it was a lot of fun! I will definitely visit again.

Moved due to a job transfer and decided to dine in. The restaurant looked impressive, with a spacious banquet room on the second floor. There were four lunch menu options available, and I chose the Meigantsaikouro set. It consisted of pork cooked with plum leaves. I was worried it might have a strong flavor, but it turned out to be delicious with the tender fatty meat. The creamy kimchi-like side dish was surprisingly tasty and I got hooked on it. The xiao long bao came in various flavors such as asparagus, truffle, spicy, XO sauce, crab miso, and shepherd's purse. Each one offered a unique dining experience. I am now curious to try their course lunch as well.

Taiwanese restaurant contest won the only highest five-star rating! Taiwan Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand award! Expectations are high. [Natural Vegetable Rainbow Xiao Long Bao] ¥2,640 each with crab, truffle, XO sauce, spicy, asparagus and shrimp, watercress, black garlic. [Cilantro and Sea Bream Xiao Long Bao] ¥1,980. Personally, the one I wanted to try the most. [Crab Roe Xiao Long Bao] ¥2,310. Complimentary tea [Oriental Beauty] ¥330 per person. They also offer hot water refills for the pot. The skin of the Xiao Long Bao is thick overall, the cost performance is not good, and the taste is lacking. The crab miso Xiao Long Bao does not even compare to the ones at Joe's Shanghai. It was disappointing.

Visit Food Log 3.09 After the end of the state of emergency, the hustle and bustle has returned to Shinjuku. In the midst of this, there is a restaurant that opened during the pandemic and has not changed at all. This situation calls for the evolution of marketing. I had matsutake mushroom xiaolongbao, tofu skin and pork stew, and mentaiko fried rice. The matsutake mushroom xiaolongbao had a rich matsutake flavor that spread throughout my mouth, and I devoured five of them. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It is a shop near Marui Men's Building. It has been open for just over a year. The shop has an elegant atmosphere and the food is also elegant. It is a famous shop in Taiwan. I ordered a lunch course for about 3,000 yen. The xiaolongbao was delicious. I knew that there are various flavors of xiaolongbao, but it was the first time I thought that various flavors were delicious. I would like to visit this shop again, but the prices are a bit high.

Located along Yasukuni Street in Shinjuku San-chome (although the address is actually Go-chome), this restaurant caught my eye as I passed by several times. It turns out that it opened in this location as Japan's second branch during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. I had heard that it received higher praise for its xiaolongbao than Din Tai Fung in Taiwan, so I decided to pay a visit. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and elegant, creating a calming atmosphere. I started by ordering the seven-colored xiaolongbao and a few other items. The xiaolongbao was incredibly delicious. Starting with the traditional pork filling, it then moved on to unique flavors like "nazuna," "asparagus," "crab miso," "XO sauce," "truffle," and ending with a spicy "mala" flavor, allowing me to embark on a flavorful journey of seven transformations. Normally, I would be satisfied with trying an innovative dish once, but this xiaolongbao left me wanting more. With the current situation of fewer customers due to the pandemic, now might be the perfect opportunity to visit. Thank you for the delicious meal. (By the way, I heard that there are nine flavors available in Taipei. I definitely want to visit there once the pandemic is over.)

Ten Sui Lou has a total of 8 branches in Taipei. It has received a 5-star rating in Taiwan restaurant evaluations. It has been ranked first for xiaolongbao, received 5 stars for beef noodles, and won various honors. In a competition to determine the best xiaolongbao restaurant, with 50% of the votes from the public and 50% from professional judges, it was chosen as Taiwan's best xiaolongbao restaurant, surpassing the globally famous Din Tai Fung! Furthermore, the Nanjing branch in Taiwan has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The menu mainly consists of Chinese Jiangnan cuisine and dim sum. This renowned restaurant has now landed in Japan, with the second branch opening in Shinjuku following the one in Yotsuya. While Ten Sui Lou in Taiwan has a more casual atmosphere, the one in Japan follows a high-end route, with higher prices! The famous Seven Color Xiaolongbao costs 2,000 yen, while in Taiwan it is 380 TWD (about 1,390 yen). Considering the cost of a flight, it's quite a difference. Lunch sets are priced at 3,000 yen! But the taste is undeniably delicious, and the attentive service and cozy atmosphere make it worth the price! The xiaolongbao, although not piping hot, was elegant and tasty. Especially the braised pork belly and desserts were delicious. Xiaolongbao can vary from affordable to high-end, and I enjoy both the cheap ones made fresh on the street in Taiwan and the ones in hotels. I also love Din Tai Fung! For locals, xiaolongbao is like sushi! The food is delicious, and the service is excellent, making it a reliable choice for dining with anyone. My only complaint is why they don't have the Custard Bun on the menu? I really wanted to try it!

"Chushoku" is the 2nd branch of the popular Taiwanese xiaolongbao restaurant located in Shinjuku Sanchome, called "Tensuirou Shinjuku Store". I've been to Taiwan only once, and this was a place I wanted to try. The Shinjuku store is located along Yasukuni Street, with the nearest station being Shinjuku Sanchome. It opened in March, but there were plenty of seats available on this day. Compared to Din Tai Fung and other similar restaurants, it gives off a slightly more upscale vibe. I ordered the "Business Lunch A Set" for 2,200 yen (excluding tax), which was a good deal. The set menu included appetizers, assorted xiaolongbao, steamed egg custard with spinach sauce, Ningbo-style fried rice, and sweet soup with white wood ear mushrooms and jujubes. The appetizer was a golden kimchi, which was delicious with a mild sourness. The steamed egg custard was fluffy and creamy. The xiaolongbao, filled with pork, sakura shrimp, and XO sauce, was juicy and tasty. The Ningbo-style fried rice and sweet soup with white wood ear mushrooms were also delicious. The Shinjuku store has a hidden gem atmosphere where you can enjoy the Michelin Bib Gourmand-winning flavors."

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed that this restaurant, which had just opened, didn't seem to have many customers, so I decided to try it out. I ordered chicken marinated in Shaoxing wine, shrimp fried rice with vegetables, steamed dumplings with vegetables, steamed shrimp dumplings, assorted vegetable xiao long bao, truffle xiao long bao, spare ribs in kumquat sauce, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, and Dian Shui's special beef noodles. My child had fried rice, shrimp dumplings, and beef noodles. The restaurant is famous in Taiwan, but honestly, the taste was just average. However, it is definitely a high-end Chinese restaurant in terms of pricing. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are both very upscale. The staff, who were Chinese and not fluent in Japanese, were friendly. The seasonal vegetable stir-fry was made with pea shoots and had a delicious garlic flavor.

This shop, Dianshui Lou, a famous Taiwanese restaurant, is located in Shinjuku San-chome, Tokyo. I visited on January 3rd. The refined flavors remained intact in a very pleasant atmosphere. It was a wonderful New Year's lunch.

The xiaolongbao and dim sum are delicious. The lunch course is also reasonable at 2200 yen, and you can enjoy unlimited refills of Pu'er tea. The service from the staff is pleasant, making it a place where you can't help but enjoy your meal and conversation.

Dian Shui Lou, which was crowned as the number one xiaolongbao in Taiwan, seems to have surpassed Din Tai Fung ❤️❤️ It's always crowded at Din Tai Fung, but this place is a hidden gem ✨ They only offer set menus for lunch, but everything was delicious. They have a weekday lunch special called Business Lunch, which includes shark fin fried rice for 6000 yen, so it's quite a good deal. They also have more expensive and cheaper set menus available. It's located right near Shinjuku Isetan.
