I had breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor of Hotel Aloft in Dojima. On this day, it felt like more than half of the customers were from overseas. The morning buffet is priced at 2,000 yen including tax, which feels very reasonable. The variety of items is not lacking compared to other hotels, with all the essential items available. There are also various egg dishes such as fried eggs, omelets, and scrambled eggs. I'm not sure if there was rolled omelette or not. There were also several types of cereals. Considering the location in Kitashinchi, Dojima, this price is set at a reasonable level.

I visited the Hotel Aloft for the first time, which opened where the Dojima Hotel used to be. Hotel Aloft is part of the Marriott group, so it's a franchise hotel. The hotel recently celebrated its first anniversary in June. The hotel's logo is very eye-catching, with a POP design. The entrance mat also has a POP design. When the door opens, you can see a tuk-tuk inside. The interior design is very colorful and cute, with a touch of Osaka vibe. The elevator hall is also very stylish. The restaurant, THE WAREHOUSE, offers a variety of dishes from around the world in an all-day dining setting. Breakfast is a buffet, while lunch and dinner offer a diverse menu, including dishes made with Osaka's local ingredients. The breakfast dishes and cutlery have a very cute design. For lunch, you can order one dish with a drink bar and salad buffet included, which is a good deal. The mask case is stylish, and the decoration at the drink bar area gives off a traditional Japanese atmosphere, which would be appreciated by visitors from overseas. I like places that offer detox water. The salad bar has cute dishes, right? I tried the Classic Hamburger lunch at the Aloft restaurant. The salad bar was great, and the Classic Hamburger was very hearty, with a lot of lettuce. The plate was cute, and the hamburger had a strong charcoal barbecue flavor, with a satisfying meaty taste. The buns seemed to be charcoal-grilled too, crispy and fragrant. The cup shape was also cute. A steak lunch might feel expensive for the average person, but pasta or hamburger dishes could be more affordable and worth visiting for. You can enjoy your meal in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The vibe is very POP.

Today, I would like to introduce a lunch with a salad bar and drink bar included. It is a restaurant located on the first floor of the Aloft Osaka Dojima, a Marriott Group's next-generation urban hotel, called 'The WAREHOUSE'. The restaurant is soon celebrating its 1st anniversary. During lunchtime, they offer reasonably priced menus. I ordered the Six-Grain Rice Roast Beef Bowl, which is usually priced at 2000 yen but was on sale for 1300 yen. All lunch sets come with a salad bar and drink bar. The salad included lettuce, baby leaf, cherry tomatoes, carrots, purple cabbage, mixed beans, mizuna, corn, tuna, and more. There were about 5 mini packets of Kewpie dressing, as well as olive oil, red wine vinegar, and balsamic vinegar available, so I drizzled olive oil and vinegar over my salad. I chose grapefruit juice from the drink bar. The roast beef bowl was served on a striking plate, overflowing with roast beef. I cracked the onsen egg and poured the accompanying sauce over it. Underneath the mound of roast beef was the six-grain rice, which had a nice chewy texture. The roast beef slices were thin but generously sized, and there were multiple slices in the bowl. For my second drink, I had orange juice, which was also delicious. There were apple juice and tomato juice available as well. The orange juice seemed to be popular as there were two tanks of it. The bread served with other menu items was a small round bun with Hokkaido butter. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel had a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. It might be nice to visit and enjoy the sense of openness once in a while. That's how the place felt. Thank you for the delicious meal.

To celebrate the upcoming 1st anniversary, a new addition to the main lunch menu is the Steak Lunch (100-200g) starting today (6/10). I tried the Steak Lunch (200g: ¥3,000) and it was delicious. There is also a discount for Marriott Bonvoy® Elite members and Marriott Bonvoy® points are available. The salad options for lunch have also been enhanced, making it a great renewal.

I had planned to stay at the Aloft Hotel in Osaka Dojima, but I arrived a little early so I decided to drop off my luggage and have lunch at the restaurant on the first floor. I was curious about the hamburger, but I ended up ordering the roast beef with sixteen-grain rice. The roast beef, beautifully arranged in the shape of flower petals on the plate, was thinly sliced and easy to eat. The sixteen-grain rice was also delicious and full of flavor.

Starting today (4/28), the lunch menu has been renewed. A new roast beef bowl has been added to the main lunch menu, now offering four options. Prices have also been reduced from ¥1,500 (tax included) to ¥1,300 (tax included). The lunch menu includes a salad bar and drink bar. I wanted to come here. It's a Marriott designer hotel dining on the first floor. The interior is full of playfulness. The atmosphere is like eating at Universal CityWalk. With a stylish interior and jazz-arranged Christmas songs playing. I had the classic burger with fries for 1600 yen. It comes with a salad bar and fruit bar. Not a lot of variety, but it's enough for lunch. The hamburger is made of 100% beef patty and it's quite filling. It's paired with a mustard-scented sauce that is flavorful and very delicious. By the way, the sofa seats have outlets at the bottom, which is a nice touch. It's less crowded than Starbucks, so it's a cozy cafe to hang out in.

In June 2021, Aloft Osaka Dojima (hotel) opened near Festival Hall. Due to COVID, the restaurants were closed for a while. The "Aloft" brand is positioned within Marriott Group as follows from top to bottom: W Hotel, Aloft, Moxy. Next to Festival Hall in the west, there is the luxury brand Conrad, but having more casual restaurants is also good. I ordered a fish burger, which was delicious. I ordered a Margherita pizza for 1488 yen (tax and service charge not included) → 1800 yen (tax and service charge included) and a fish burger for 1240 yen → 1500 yen. Marriott Bonvoy members receive a 15% discount. Thank you for the meal.

The lunch at Yumiko Abodi on the first floor of the hotel that opened in June. I don't remember much because it was a while ago, but it seems like the current lunch menu is a bit different. The salad and soup set was delicious. I also had a beer (which I could drink at that time) and dessert. You can have soft serve ice cream with plenty of toppings. The place was spacious and relaxing!

Aloft Osaka Dojima (F&B) new dishes. 1. Spicy Buffalo Wings with hot & spicy buffalo sauce, served with blue cheese sauce ¥900- *Spicier than expected, with a strong blue cheese sauce. 2. Naruto Kintoki and Beniharuka roasted sweet potatoes half & half roasted sweet potatoes ¥850- Both delicious roasted sweet potatoes. Personally, I prefer Naruto Kintoki.

Breakfast at the accommodation. Buffet. It was a very satisfying breakfast. It was delicious, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in a beautiful and stylish space.

I stayed at Aloft Osaka Dojima and used their services. I enjoyed a pizza for dinner in my room and had a light hot meal for breakfast. The manager, who had a firm and professional demeanor, provided excellent service. He also gave advice to other staff members, which created a great atmosphere.
