Located inside Hakodate Airport, "HAKOYA" is a casual seafood bowl restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood in a short amount of time. The restaurant is situated on the 3rd floor of Hakodate Airport, on the front deck after taking the escalator. The spacious seating area has many tables, with the order counter at the back. There are also outdoor tables available. The menu includes dishes such as "Tuna Trio Bowl (1400 yen)", "Medium Fatty Tuna Dice Bowl (880 yen)", "Salmon Engawa Ikura Bowl (950 yen)", "Medium Fatty Tuna Sea Treasure Bowl (880 yen)", "Sea Joy Bowl (880 yen)", and "Negitoro Bowl (780 yen)". One of the recommended dishes is the following: - Medium Fatty Tuna Dice Bowl with Ikura Topping (+300 yen) ~ Time Spent: About 20 minutes ~ Total Bill: 1,180 yen (including tax) Visited: Sunday around 6 pm, with 5-6 groups of customers already present After settling the bill, a buzzer is given for notifying when the order is ready. The dish was prepared in about 3 minutes and brought to the table. The luxurious seafood bowl consisted of medium fatty tuna, salmon, shrimp, flying fish roe, and additional ikura topping. The dice-shaped medium fatty tuna had a rich sweetness and melt-in-your-mouth texture, complemented by the vibrant sweetness of the Hokkaido salmon. The ikura topping enhanced the overall umami flavor, elevating the deliciousness of the bowl. The seafood portion was generous, and the rice portion was satisfying. The value for money was impressive. Whether you're looking to pass the time before a departing flight or craving seafood upon arrival at Hakodate Airport, "HAKOYA" is highly recommended. The seafood bowl at "HAKOYA" truly made for a memorable experience during the trip.

During my last meal in Hakodate, I visited this restaurant located inside the airport. I wanted to end my trip with seafood, so I ordered a horse mackerel bowl, grilled flounder fin, and fried smelt. Delicious. It was my first time trying horse mackerel, and it was truly amazing. The fried smelt was also a first for me, and it tasted like fried white fish, very tasty. I would definitely like to visit this place again.

I visited an izakaya near Goryokaku in the past and was very satisfied, so I stopped by while waiting for my flight. It was like a food court with around 15 four-person table seats and a few terrace seats outside. You order at the register and they call your number when ready, similar to a food court. They even brought the donburi to our table (probably because it was a weekday and not busy). - Maguro three kinds of donburi: Tuna, akami, and negitoro. The slices were thin but beautifully arranged in the bowl. The akami was tender and delicious, but the toro had some sinew. The rice was sushi rice with a strong vinegar taste. - Japanese sake (Gohyo): Although the menu listed various options like Dassai, Tatenokawa, and Yoake Mae, they only had one type available. The quality of the donburi at the airport was comparable to the seafood donburi I had at Hakodate Asaichi Donburi Yokocho the day before, and the price was quite reasonable. Thank you for the meal.

#Hakodate Airport #Hakoya Hakodate Store #Kaiho Don (Sea Treasure Bowl) #Topped with Ikura (Salmon Roe) #Chutoro (Medium Fatty Tuna) Sashimi Bowl #Salmon Engawa (Salmon Belly) Ikura Don Upon arriving at Hakodate Airport, the first thing I ate was a seafood bowl at this restaurant. Despite being at the airport, the prices were relatively reasonable. It was like a food court where you place your order, pay, and then wait at your seat with a buzzer. Since it was just opening, it took almost 30 minutes until the food was served. The Kaiho Don I had consisted of tuna, salmon, and mashime-zuke (pickled herring) topped with ikura. Both the ingredients and rice were plentiful, giving a strong sense of "eating seafood in Hokkaido!" The fact that it was the only place serving vinegared rice during my trip was a nice touch for me. However, due to its location at the beginning (or end) of a trip, it would be even better if the food could be served a bit faster. #Hakodate Airport Gourmet #Hakodate Gourmet #Hakodate Breakfast #Hakodate Breakfast #Seafood Bowl #Hakodate Seafood Bowl

During the layover at the airport, I visited this restaurant. I ordered the medium fatty tuna and colorful fish roe bowl with extra toppings. Although the medium fatty tuna had a few more tendons than I would have liked, the generous amount of toppings made up for it. Considering the price and portion size, it was definitely worth it. It was a satisfying way to enjoy seafood on the way back from my trip to Hokkaido. Thank you for the meal.

I had some time before my departure from Hakodate Airport, so I decided to have a meal here on the 3rd floor of the airport. Although there is an observation deck attached, it was raining so I had my meal indoors. This time, I ordered the "Chutoro Sashimi Bowl with Salmon Roe" with extra salmon roe and a large portion of rice. First of all, there was an incredible amount of sashimi covering the rice. It really whetted my appetite. What stood out the most was the large amount of rice. Even without ordering a large portion, there was already plenty. Ordering the large portion meant there was a lot of rice. It was a delicious bowl with fresh fish, a large amount of rice, and good value for money. I was able to fully enjoy Hokkaido until the very end.

I stopped by during my return trip from traveling, during the layover at the airport. I arrived around 10:30 am and was able to get in without waiting. I chose a seat and then went to the counter to place my order. It took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive, so the wait time was not too long. Now, onto the food itself. Please keep in mind that this review is subjective. The Chutoro Sashimi Rice Bowl looked very beautiful, but the tuna was a bit sinewy and the salmon was too salty, so the taste was not as good as expected. The Seafood Rice Bowl was the best among the dishes. It was delicious without any fishy smell. The Tuna Three-Color Rice Bowl looked nice, but the texture of the sinewy tuna was not great, and the taste did not meet expectations. Considering that it's airport food, it might be acceptable, but I think they could attract more fans if they offered higher quality dishes. I look forward to my next visit.

This is a restaurant on the 3rd floor of Hakodate Airport. I had the Salmon Engawa Ikura Don. The taste was okay, just as I expected. I came to Hokkaido and couldn't get any seafood, so I wanted to eat something at the airport. You can watch the airplanes while eating, so it's good for families with children. You can also take your food to the terrace if it's not raining. They serve food quickly, so it's fine even if you don't have much time before your flight! They also have other menu options like tuna, so I might try something different next time.

It seems like they have a limited-time beer garden set up outside with tents, where they are doing BBQ. When I asked the staff, they mentioned they also have Genghis Khan (grilled lamb dish). The drink-all-you-can course is 5,500 yen per person, and a single serving is 1,500 yen. The tents are set up outdoors, and you can enjoy your meal while watching airplanes, which would be a dream come true for airplane enthusiasts.

A pre-flight drink. The spacious hall has a stage, so I wonder if events are held here? You can order and pay at the counter, and they bring the food to your seat. I had a highball and a dish called "Kaioh-zuke," like a seafood version of Matsumae-zuke. It feels like something you would only find in Hakodate, and it's delicious. They poured sake generously for my friend who ordered it. You can leisurely pass the time until your flight without even ordering anything.

When I arrived at the airport, I thought there would be more restaurants, but I was hungry so I ended up going to one. My partner had mentioned wanting to try the menu at Goto Ken, so I was glad to see it on the menu. I love ramen, and to me, it was on par with the restaurants at ski resorts. It was decently tasty, and maybe because I was hungry, it tasted even better. I ordered ramen with butter as a topping, but it didn't come. It was only 100 yen, but I let it go. After all, it was the start of our trip.

If you want to eat seafood bowl at Hakodate Airport, go to HAKOYA on the 3rd floor of the airport. This time, I ordered the Kaiho-don, which comes with different toppings depending on the day. This time, it had Matsumae pickles on top. The portion was generous and the cost was great at under 1,000 yen. I enjoyed it very much this time as well.

On my way back from a business trip, I had lunch at the airport. I had researched beforehand and decided to go to HAKOYA. Everything looked delicious and I was torn between choices, but I ended up ordering the colorful cube bowl with medium fatty tuna and topped it with salmon roe. Even without the toppings, it was luxurious with plenty of medium fatty tuna, salmon, and whelk (normally shrimp). The medium fatty tuna cut into cubes had a nice chewy texture and melted in your mouth, with amazing flavor. The salmon had just the right amount of fat and the flesh was firm and delicious. The chewy texture of the whelk and the popping sensation of the salmon roe added a nice touch. The additional salmon roe was sparkling and delicious. The seaweed soup was also amazing. The seaweed soaked in the soup was just delicious.

I was looking forward to coming here before my trip to Hakodate. The satisfaction level for this price is amazing! Not only is it cost-effective, but the tuna was cut into small blocks so it didn't feel too sinewy. The crunchy texture of the shrimp added a nice touch. The rice portion was just right, not too much to hinder my upcoming foodie journey. They also offer takeout, and my friend stopped by on the way back for souvenirs and dinner. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back!

Located above the domestic departure lobby of Hakodate Airport, HAKOYA is a restaurant known for offering fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Managed by a wholesaler located near Goryokaku, HAKOYA is popular for its seafood donburi. Despite a recent price increase, you can still find donburi for under 1000 yen with change to spare. The ordering process is simple: place your order at the counter, receive a buzzer, and collect your meal when it's ready. I highly recommend trying the Chutoro Sashimi Donburi with salmon, tobiko, and shrimp toppings, all for just 1,350 yen. The generous portions of fresh seafood are a delightful way to savor the flavors of Hakodate before your departure.

I was checking out a restaurant on YouTube! It seems like there is a related store in Hakodate city, so I wonder if it is famous? The recommended dish at this restaurant is the "Sai Korodon" ✨ It's topped with medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon, and it's incredibly cheap! Of course, I also added some salmon roe on top, haha. Needless to say, the taste is ✨ delicious! I think it's even better than the morning market shops, haha. Also, I tried the hokke fry that caught my eye on the side menu, and I was surprised by how thick and fluffy the meat was ✨ It was a great way to end my time in Hakodate ✨

I couldn't find sushi during my sightseeing in Hakodate, so I hurried to a seafood bowl restaurant at the airport before boarding. I ordered a colorful bowl with medium fatty tuna and topped it with salmon roe, while my companion had a salmon and salmon skin bowl with salmon roe on top. It took a little time for the food to be ready, and we were given a typical alarm device found in food courts. Despite asking for less rice, the portions were quite generous. The taste was decent overall. The salmon skin was crispy and added a nice touch to the dish. In the end, we were satisfied to have eaten a seafood bowl in Hakodate before boarding our flight to Haneda.

Bright observation room located inside the 3rd floor pick-up deck at Hakodate Airport. Known for delicious seafood bowls at a reasonable price. Many customers before departure. Recommended dishes include the medium fatty tuna and colorful roll bowl for 1350 yen, with an option to add salmon roe for 300 yen. The miso soup with seaweed is very tasty. The bowl is filling and good value for money. The sushi toppings are indeed delicious. The fish is a bit tough, so chewing brings out the flavor but leaves a greasy aftertaste. Despite the potential to become a famous airport shop, some of the female staff's customer service is slightly disappointing. Hoping for a more welcoming service that makes customers want to come back... Please take notice. Looking forward to improvements!

The dishes were fresh and delicious. The medium fatty tuna was not too oily and did not have a strong fishy smell. It was convenient that the restaurant opened at 10 am. The meal came with vinegared rice, miso soup with seaweed, and side dishes, making it a satisfying early lunch.

There is a free space on the 3rd floor of Hakodate Airport where you can see airplanes, next to which there is a seafood bowl restaurant. I ordered the Kairodon (Japanese horse mackerel) for 880 yen. Despite being at an airport, the price is reasonable and the portion size and taste are very satisfying. The fresh, thick and glossy fish is generously served, and you can enjoy it with both ginger soy sauce and wasabi soy sauce. The miso soup is also flavorful. You can also bring your own drinks, so I paired it with a 328 yen Otaru beer from the Lawson on the 1st floor.

A restaurant inside Hakodate Airport. I had a seafood bowl with extra fatty tuna and deep-fried tuna belly on top. I was happy that it also had whelk in the bowl. All of this for 2000 yen, which I think is reasonable for an airport restaurant.
